Lived in us for 10 years and also Canada for 7. I can 100% say that life in Canada is a whole lot better then USA. Although pay is more in USA, it’s quickly eaten up by all the expenses and trust me when I say you will spend a ton. Your entire city you live in will most likely try to eat away as much of your wallet as you can. People and going outside is just better in Canada. Usa really really sucks apart from pay, especially for kids unless you live in an expensive city. People are Riddled with hate and it’s not safe for kids to play outside because something is def out to get them. Usually it’s a car or a criminal. One thing I’ve noticed is kids in USA end up doing drugs a whole lot more, because there’s not much for the kids to do. Kids can’t spend much and can’t travel far or at all, so they resort to drugs. With my hs done in highschool, a huge majority of the schools were doing one or another sort of drug. Also I’m back in Canada because life as a student is just a whole lot better then the snaky system of USA. Both suck in their own ways though, Canada a whole lot less, plan to move out to an eastern country anywya tjough.

If our immigration system and amnesty policies were actually humanitarian driven rather than politically driven this kind of crap wouldn't happen. I genuinely feel so sorry for legitimate amnesty seekers trying to get into the US under this politicized system. I also feel sorry for the 24 MILLION people who are waiting to get into our country legally while this kind of senseless malarkey goes on. Finally I feel sorry for the people in cities like El Paso (where nearly 80% of the population is minorities) who are faced with this totally needless and utterly reckless onslaught every day. Everyone involved is being used as expendable pawns in a cruel political game.

For everyone saying that they feel bad for these people and they just want to come and work and escape oppressive governments does not even understand that those reasons are irrelevant. If all these migrants where good people and there was enough space to house and feed them with burdening the tax payer great. But that's not reality, a lot of these people cross illegally, break into people's houses, rob, rape, kill, etc...If any of the media even bothered to go and interview anyone from the border towns and cities, they would realize how angry and frustrated they are, parents no longer send their children outside to play because some random people running through their yard steal and break into their houses, but this doesn't get reported on because it doesn't fit their narrative of these desperate migrants just want to work and live freely.

Same here at Europe, especially Germany and Austria. Our safety and wealth is massive decreasing because of this. Living is now crazy expensive because so many migrants searching cheap homes, and there is so much more violence in the cities. \n\nSoon we will be more foreigners than nationals, people are already leaving the country because the culture is changing, you barely hear your own language and the crime rate is crazy. Yea the province of Vancouver is the place most people think of , not the whole province of B.C.\nYou can enjoy all the tent towns that are everywhere, because of the cost of a house in that city. But I shouldn't forget to mention that B.C. just made it legal to buy and have small amounts of crack heroin and fentanyl if you want to visit your doped out friends on the east side Vancouver.

Im 24 and been searching for a job for 1 year now. Not even 10 interviews. Im applying for EVERYTHING. Retail, production work, general labour, overnight work, housekeeping, cleaning / janitorial work, painting, customer service, call center, sales, factories..etc \nI'm applying in different cities and willing to take GO transit to work. \nI live near lots of big cities and somehow although they claim to be understaffed, they aren't hiring. \n \nI'd like to know the reason for this? There's nothing improving, homelessness is a MAJOR issue that is not being addressed but we are still taking in more people. These people are suffering and so many trying to get a job. \n \nI've contacted MANY agencies and they have had no jobs available FOR MONTHS \n \nCanada is only going to increase in homelessness. Theres been no improvement :(\n\nPeople suffering from homelessness and depression have been taking the euthanasia route because it feels like there's no hope or other option.

As a Native kid who grew up on the reservation in Canada, I used to be afraid to go into the city because of the tings people would say to us. It wasn't just white people either. I have lived in Utah the past 20 years, and I'm sad to hear it still hasn't changed.

I’m 47 years old, black (Caribbean descent) and have lived in Canada my whole life. I’ve lived in Montreal, Toronto and Calgary and visited all over the country. Have never experienced any racism of any kind. Toronto and Montreal in particular are incredibly diverse. Not sure how you would see any overt racism in those places. I don’t trust this lady’s story at all. Sounds like she’s making it up as she goes along tbh. If her brother’s boss fired him and called him the N-word that’s an easy lawsuit to win… and it’s difficult to believe that ANY boss would be THAT stupid. \n\nThere are ignorant people everywhere without a doubt… but please don’t believe this B.S. about white people hating anyone who isn’t white. canadians are doing just fine. first time buyers are struggling all around the world and most likely we are moving towards build to rent globally. The house prices in Canada are jacked up because most of the population is located in just a few cities and peope with spare cash like to invest their money somewhere.

I visited Canada about ten years ago, (Toronto, and Niagara Falls) and I didn't see any signs of racism, AT ALL! As a matter of fact, everyone we encountered was very friendly, overly friendly when they knew we were from the States, it was quiet, didn't even hear police sirens not once while there, it was peaceful and quiet, and the city pretty much shut down after ten, maybe this was only there, I don't know.

Such a bittersweet scene. People so desperate to gain entry into the USA. But, we can't even take care of our own citizens. Homelessness, drugs we can't even clean up our own cities. Let alone take care of others not from the USA. I can't imagine how these people feel. Fleeing their country to gain entry into the USA. I feel so blessed to be an American. Well immigrants will have a relatively tough time. Canada is a diverse place. Live outside the big cities if possible. Speak English at home. Make friends with established Canadians. Be cash rich and house poor. Getting locked into a fat mortgage will just grind your happiness away.

This has been happening on mexicos southern border for months now. Mexicos president is wayyyy too nice to kick them out like the US is.
