Heeeyyyyy Arms. So news from England, we've entered a state of emergency with Omicron and we're seeing some deaths. I'm Covid negative but for reasons that I can't go into, I haven't had my 3rd vaccination (until January). Would now be a good time to tell you I'm a Stage 3 Kidney Failure patient, meaning I plan on being in Vicar Street on Wednesday but if I catch this 'plague' I may not be strong enough to survive it. Therefore please can I thank you all (especially Flanagan) for making my final days joyful and if you don't see my presence anymore online then, you will know why. Love you guys to the moon and back! ?

Not that I'm complaining since this series has been going so well so far, but how many countries are you planning on doing?
|
| 2021-12-09 | 1 |
Why are they listing the cites out of order unless they are planning on hopping back and forth between the two countries which is possible but unlikely.

You gals are on point with most of the things. However, there are few things that were not discussed here that might be of help to those planning to immigrate. Things that they should know before they pack their bags in the hopes that they will have the best of both worlds once they land in Canada. Most immigration agents give false hopes as they get paid for doing so. So, research, research, research before you put all your money in one basket. While some people return to their home country because they eventually have come to realization that Canada will not give them the life they hoped for, others some how manage to settle down. Then there is another group that stay behind because they have no place to go because they made the big mistake of putting all they had in one basket and took risk of spending it in Canada. Also, if you are a professional, you are better off working in U.S than Canada. Job opportunities in U.S for professionals are far better than in Canada. Finding a job in Canada is based on whom you know rather than what your skill sets and qualifications are. Foreign qualifications including U.S degrees are not well accepted in Canada. U.S employers hire based on skill sets and whom you know is not much of a factor that will impact your job search. Unlike Canada, U.S accepts foreign qualified workers in most professional jobs and do not require that you to study in U.S for most professional fields. While pay is 40% more in U.S for the same job in Canada, home prices in U.S are 40% less expensive than in Canada. Food for thought.

Quebec is far from being the best province in Canada. Montreal is great but their is a disconnect with the rest of the province. The biggest export of Quebec is young people. Once they graduate from University they leave as the job opportunities are in Ontario and western Canada. The Quebec pension plan now pays out more than it takes in. The academics and politicians are hell bent to push the ‘vive la Quebec and French Uber alles’ that it turns off business and industry. An example is the pharmaceutical industry was all headquartered at one time in Quebec and it moved out to Ontario. The personal income tax rates are higher than most provinces and health care is not the best either.

My personal opinion after living in Canada for 10 years and I do not plan to move, is that these points are valid, but it is part of the research that each person must do before moving to any country. Much of this information is available and the government encourages you to know the country well before applying / moving.
\nThis not only happens in Canada, but in general they are matters of personal taste.
\nCurrently the job market is very good and there are plenty of offers.
\nIf you are looking for money, Canada is not the place, but overall it is a very good place.

Everytime I look at Canada I tell myself wow, what a beautiful country, but then I realized how depressing life is here in Canada. As an immigrant I have so many thing to be thankful for living in Canada, but also so many more things why I am planning to leave. Housing is unexplainablly expensive, cost of living is going too high for wags to catch up, drug problem visible in every city, mediocre jobs , unwilling government that has zero Desire to make this country grow to its full potential the list is endless. I will always love Canada, but life here isn't as good as it's portrayed to be. People just live so they can work so they can live to work again and can't even break even, many are too depressed and end up on drugs rising homelessness.

Hi Jason, Thank you so much for your videos. It helped us a lot! Me and my fiance are planning to migrate to canada. She (29 Y.o)is an accountant in Singapore and I’m (36 Y.O.) a pilot here in Philippines. Would like to ask if its easier for us to apply separately, or should we wait until we get married and apply for PR together. Thank you Jason

I live and study in Canada, but I'm planning to leave after I finish my studies. I've never really like here. People are cold, the weather is cold too and it's starting to become more and more expensive to live here.

Can I create multiple express entry profiles? I have pending FSW application but will expire in 4months. Until now, IRCC haven't announce draw plans for FSW so I'm wondering if it's necessary to create a new one.

As a person who has worked as a non technical project coordinator for 2 years and a client servicing executive for 1 year in a mainline advertising agency, I plan on coming to Canada for a 2 year Post graduation certificate program in digital marketing. How realistic is it to expect an entry level job right after my course?\n\n\nP.S I don't plan on continuing to work in client servicing/business development/non technical project coordination but, instead get a job on the basis of what is taught in course. Is it advisable to make the move?

Sir I am also a Govt. Servant, not mentally satisfied with the system, salary is not an issue but no mental satisfaction (sakoon in life), feels like a paid prisoner. I have 10 year service in Agri. Department Punjab and have an Agricultural Degree. I cannot move immediately to Canada but I have a big desire and am planning to do so after completing 25 years of service and retirement. Whether should I do this or plan it earlier.

I’m a tech professional from INDIA. Carrying 3+ years of experience working for Top MNC. Since there’s a lot of competition for on-site opportunity, I’m planning to leave my job and Move to Canadian for a job search. However, one thing is pulling me, 40% tax is not a small thing. I thought I could spend 50% of my income and send other 50% to my family but seems like it doesn’t work the way I thought. Still I don’t want to step back without giving a try. I just wanted to know how the Tech jobs available in the current situation? Can you guys suggest me, how to find tech job once I landed. And which province is best for IT Professionals

The stories of people moving here and then realizing their credentials aren't as valuable and have to go back to school....should have researched this and made proper plans based on this. The same for Canadians moving overseas. Most people are aware your degree here may not be acknowledged in a new country and its up to the person to found out before moving.

Ask a Canadian where they plan to retire or where they spend their vacations. You might be surprised. We never appreciate the good things we have right in front of us.
