I don’t get why you’d want to be a resident and care so much of a residency. In a country you don’t even want to live in. It just doesn’t make sense like what a waste of money and time. Back in 2001 when I was a customs officer I was already seeing fraudulent stamps in China passports, and special coaching to try to sneak into Canada. I only caught them because thanks to my background, I know the language, as well as some strokes of luck. This guy does not have a slightest shame for what he has done. He should have been deprived of his Canadian citizenship and deported back to China. It’s not only ghost immigrants. There are ghost employment too. A lot of people, mainly those rich international students who do not want to go back to China after graduation or failed to graduate but would remain in Canada without permanent residents status. They would pay some corrupted companies to hire them (what a joke), pretending that they have a full-time job in order to apply for permanent residency in Canada.
