It’s a dagger ? in this world it’s very scary to see something like that. No one’s trying to impede on his religion. However he’s making a lot of people terrified and it’s not fair to everyone else in the room.

it's not a knife it's worn for a religious pupose it's for his faith. Juts because you have no beliefs don't take someone else's beliefs away. God will punish anyone who messes with his religion.

I am from India, I believe in my culture and customs in this situation its a weapon and safety hazard. What if someone else snatches the knife and hurt somebody. You never know. We should not push religion when it comes to safety.

Whe you're in a different country, the responsibility is yours to know or find out what the laws of the land are. You cannot expect a whole nation of others to suddenly become educated about your religious practices and make way for you . If they do, that great, but it's not their responsibility. Also, having a weapon on you in an environment where others don't will put them at unease and also give you the advantage over them, in case of an altercation. How do they know if you are mentally sane or not and that you will not suddenly use it on them. Most Sikhs are wonderful and very caring people and I'm even sitting with one as I write this, but it's best we keep our religious practices to ourselves and not be in anyone's face with it, especially in a country where people are not so aware of other cultures. If he had to wear it for religious purposes, its his responsibility to have informed the university( which he may have) , but also to insist that they inform everyone else and the police of it, so as to not raise any tensions.

Sikhs are protectors of all, in times of need people come to the Sikhs for assistance and Protection. Who else feeds millions of people a year for free? Leave the gracious Sikhs alone.

Canada is racist country I came here when I was 10 years old am 52 years old never got a credit card more than $300 dollars had six children from the reach grade 9 the teachers made my kids life a living night mare in every way they made a stumbling block with everything the bank as account in my name that some else used they other people got credit in my name and I cant get credit for myself the downgradel my licence that I have prove that It did not expire in every way the oppress me and my children but I get great comfort knowing that God will judge them for all there wrong doing.

The Problem is where you are coming from, if your life is most of the times under the fear of danger then you would want to go somewhere else. Also in most developing Nations what we spend to survive is more than the taxes you pay in most western countries where the taxes are well used to provide basic amenities. In Nigeria to have constant electricity means you have to have lots of money; you pay high electricity bills, yet no light you spend so much for Generator, fuelling it and also solar source of power is so expensive etc..

Life is what you make it. Canada, like anywhere else in the world, has its strengths and weaknesses. IMHO, your life mission should drive your choice of where to live or settle. If you are blessed enough to find your life purpose and live it, location-based disadvantages wouldn't matter that much as you would be preoccupied with thoughts about what you are called to bring to the world - and less about what goodies your surroundings can offer you. \n\nPosition yourself where conditions are suitable for the impact you are uniquely designed to make. Seeking maximum comfort or a perfect place (which does not exist) are not pursuits that set you up to live you best life.

True, lived there for 4 years. Canada is a well made lie to make someone else rich. I even met a rich immigrant who basically became rich because I'm sure he was doing money laundry. Also, Canadian politeness is a fake way to uncover how they actually don't care about another person; they are not nice people . Being there also made me think about this whole immigration system, it felt like a neo-slave trade, because immigration is such a gray area, and we basically have no rights to anything whatsoever, being open to be easily exploited. Not to mention psychological problems, like the Ulyssses Syndrome, that nobody talks about.

Born and raised here to immigrant parents. Everything that you shared is straight facts with one exception. Depending on the work you do you earn more than 2 weeks vacation. Starting out is usually 2-3 weeks but as you gain seniority/experience you earn more days/or weeks. A previous job I had after working there for 7 years, I earned 6 weeks vacation that I could take anytime throughout the year. When I started I had 2 weeks after a year it went to 3 etc. It depends on the job and experience. Everything else you shared though is 100% true. I've been advised it's best to have more than 1 citizenship for these many reasons.

Hello ladies! I'm Brazilian and moved to Canada to pursue a better life and... I cannot agree with you more!!! I thought I was insane for telling my canadian husband about all of the things Canada has to improve (literally everything you mentioned in the video), but found myself supported by someone else's experience and perspective (yours). My country also has it flaws, obviously, but at the end of the day I would leave Canada if I could, I just can't leave my husband behind ?‍♀️ But we will figure it out. I dont get the reasons that are not the Taxes/High cost of living/Healthcare\n\nEverything else is really just subjective, weather, lifestyle and homesickness are things I've never had an issue with, this is subjective to where you live in Canada as well. I love that I have hot summers and cold winters, its the best of both worlds. I was raised here by immigrant parents so maybe this is an issue they've had but I grew up in a extremely multicultural area in Toronto, I experienced my culture much more than the Canadian Culture and others as well.\n\nIn my opinion, while Canada isn't perfect now, it will only get better in the future. As long as people don't abandon the Country and the government doesn't abandon its Citizens than I have high hopes for Canada. Specifically Toronto, it has the potential to become even more massive than it already is.

Most of these reasons are the same in each country. Been living in 4 countries and I can tell you that it's the same almost everywhere. Also, taxes are not that high in Canada. I live in a country now that has almost 50% taxes. And I'm just in the middle class. I've seen few of those videos now and I have a feeling that people complaining about Canada are the people that haven't lived anywhere else. US is the worst possible place to live. No work-life balance, toxic work culture, no holidays, no vacation, no healthcare, working people being homeless, violence, racism, wokeness, gun violence. These are just a tip of the icberg why US is the worst place to move to.

Immigration to a new country is hard. It sounds like it has failed for you so you are right to try somewhere else. My parents put in the hard work and effort to have our family succeed in Canada for their children's sake. I do not remember boredom being a problem for us kids but then we loved the freedom of the outdoors even in winter. We did not rely on other people to entertain us. MY parents had to be very flexible and give up a lot of their old country ways. They did that work and we have all prospered.

LOL next time you go to British Columbia go to where I'm from and it's a little Valley called blueberry Creek it's in the interior about 400 mi from Vancouver Vancouver isn't as bad as you say it seems that way but truly I lived there for about 10-15 years after I grew up in blueberry and it is definitely unpredictable that's for sure you have to take an umbrella with you or a raincoat or a sweater or something cuz you could go out in the morning it's bright and sunny and by the time you get to the bus stop it's raining that is very true but it doesn't last long there is certain seasons that it rains but if you look at the meteorology it really isn't that much more than anywhere else and gloomy you want to talk about gloomy you live in Alberta I live there for quite a while and one morning I woke up and I just couldn't take it anymore all you see is different shades of gray and brown so I packed up and went home and finally saw green again I'm glad you guys are in Canada but boy do I hear you I used to be middle class owned a home and some land and then I became homeless because yes that's what our government is trying to do they don't want me to class people we have too much power when Harris came into power he almost succeeded in wiping out the middle class dirt poor have no say in anything so I'm trapped here I hope you guys have the freedom to go where you like I really do you guys are great

If you already used to life around friends and families back home Canada is not for you. Quite frankly Canada is for natural born loners.\nFact, You will definitely feel more at home in the u.s than Canada mainly due higher immigrants population.\nIf you moved to Canada as a teenager or was born by immigrants parents then Canada is for you. I enjoyed this...I've struggled with the thought of leaving daily..now that my wife and I have a child, the goal will be to earn as much as possible and gain the experience to then return home one day as a well rounded professional (with the option of returning). People buy into the notion that somewhere else is better than home but its not always the case..its all about perspective.

I am just leaving Canada after 30 years wasting my life in this country.....work,work...no time for anything else.... health care terrible...they don't treat...not private doctors.... difficult to make good friends.....just boring country

Cold weather, it`s punishing to my joints,not to mention dragging myself to go to work in the winter, real punishment to the spirit.A foreign passport(swiss) opened countless doors for me but I cant imagine being anywhere else than here.And if there is a day I decide to leave, it will be back to Africa but not any European country.\nWow we have minimum 4 weeks vacation here, in my working place,we all have 5 weeks and I love it.Unfortunately we can`t take the 5 weeks in one go, you have to divide it into 3 or 4= 1,2,1,1.

If I was you and still live in Canada, I would leave NOW ASAP OK. I would like for you'll to go back to Africa. Are some where else to a better life. I find the healthcare observation strange. There have been several reports over the last 10 years up to 2019 at least saying the US of healthcare is unexplainably higher than in Canada. The cost of medication especially has been blamed. Months waiting for emergency treatment is lamentable but knowing that everyone else is subject to the same wait no matter who you are is really impressive. Congrats to Canada. Where else does that happen? I live in Guyana. Never wanted to live in any developed country. Never applied. Seeing them from a safe distance is all I need.

The Question is Why are so many Africans in everyone else’s country⁉️ We saw them complain in Ukraine when the war started; in China when COVID started they were treated poorly…Africans flood everyone’s country and then complain. Go back home and fight to make your countries better in Africa!

Very interesting views. I don't live in Canada. My views, high taxes are unreasonable but at the same time it ensures that everyone gets a quality of life especially in terms of health care. Two weeks leave is ridiculous it is unreachable.\n\nI also think that all that glitters is not gold (in terms of leaving Canada and going elsewhere) I and a lot of people living in other countries would give all they have to leave and go somewhere else where they can work and earn money to buy what they need. No wonder my uncle hardly sends me money... lol... I love CA but never been there. I have thought about this move to CA but here in Nigeria I have about 5 years career growth in HR and I am currently a team lead and by next year or before the end of this year my promotion to supervisor is very certain plus I work remotely and pay not bad atall but can get better lol... I live also in my folks house cause they leave somewhere else in another state and not staying in that house makes it an empty building... leaving all those behind to start over again in CA makes me feel bad...
