Canada is WAAY more expensive than USA (and most of the developed countries), its infrastructure is way subpar than of USA (or even some developing countries) and lets not even talk about the joke of a healthcare system in Canada. to see a GP people has to stay in the queue for 3 MONTHS!!!! THREE MONTHS!! its pathetic after paying so much taxes and getting a healthcare service thats worse than a third world country! and why do you not talk about the fact insurance plays a huge role here if you want ANY kind of a service without staying for months until your stage 1 cancer grows to a stage 4 :)

In my opinion, if not just because of long time waiting for ILR and housing issues in UK, I will always prefer UK to Canada. Canada will give you easy PR but even with the PR, it will still take many years to achieve your dream in your profession. UK ILR takes time but within those times you must have achieved what you want. Some people that relocated to UK as ordinary carer have become registered nurses even before they get their ILR. UK needs patience and at last you will be glad. The issue is that many people want it so fast. They prefer getting PR faster than growing in their profession. That's why they prefer Canada.

Something that I don’t get about these people that immigrant over is that they all have such respect and love for the country that they hail from and some of them demand a lot of respect for it. However the sad reality is that they leave the homes the love behind and start anew. Not that I’m against people for doing so, but why not stay and fight for your country to become prosperous and to even become better then what you came to America for. Why flee and let your country destroy itself from the inside out? Not to mention, if history has taught us anything, those people typically ruin the country’s they flee too.

Part of me feels bad for them because of all the stories of how bad it is south of the border but the other more realistic part of me knows that a large influx of immigrants like this would be catastrophic to the local housing markets wherever they end up. People cant even really afford housing these days because of how high the rates are now. \n\nFor fresh immigrants like this.... Unless they already had family in the states, they would be living on the streets instead unless they found a place to live.

If you understood the s*** that was going down in Venezuela, you would be fighting for these people to have Asylum here. Do you know how much of Texas is unoccupied? Like SO much of it. It's not a very densely populated state. It can take years for Asylum Seekers to go through the process legally. Don't they deserve some level of safety while the process is sorted out? And instead we keep instituting policies that make things even more difficult and create even more tension. Nobody is fully in the right here necessarily, but people really need to start approaching this with much more empathy and Humanity. If you guys really have such a problem with all the migrants being in Texas, there's always Wyoming. Nobody lives in Wyoming. There's plenty of space in Texas, of course, since most people live around the Metropolitan areas.... But Texas isn't always known for its warm fuzzies. Wyoming is just Cheyenne and a bunch of wind. I certainly don't see the harm.

It's almost like they don't see how the effects of employers offering wages too low to support paying rent being mixed with large investment firms buying up all the Housing stock and enacting policies of constantly evicting current tenants to increase rental prices isn't a major component in the problem.\nThe reality is, the housing crises could be easily fixed by raising minimum wage to a living wage and restricting investment firms from using residential housing as investment stocks especially as one of their tactics seems to be to intentionally not rent out large portions of their housing stock to create a shortage in supply, this driving up demand along with rental prices.\nYou can't honestly complain about the homeless crisis while ignoring the fact that corporations are intentionally keeping rentals empty to drive up rental prices. I understand that we can’t take in everyone into the country. We can’t even take care of ourselves until our government works together to help us. However I understand the reason why these people are fleeing. They’re desperate and wanting a better life, and America is always advertising it’s self as THE #1 country. If my family and livelihood was being threaten on the daily I would do the same thing as them. Even if it was a dangerous and illegal I think the troubles they’ve faced are far worse then anything I can think of.

There’s underlying parts of our government that fight this, and get people they don’t particularly like in the door. Like the Kennedy’s and Trump but we have no value in voting. All of these points are subjective. I think the point system you used and the subjects you talked about are biased. I would have given the USA a point for innovation and job opportunity. There is more opportunities, because more companies choose the USA. We have a higher population so even thought there is more job opportunities in the USA, it is also very competitive. Your video gave a point to Canada for vacation and maternity leave rather than innovation and job opportunities. A lawyer in the USA has a better chance of practicing law than a Canadian lawyer. You gave a point to Canada for healthcare because of life expectancy. However I’d still give a point to the USA for healthcare. The life expectancy is a separate subject. The life expectancy is lower in the USA because of what we eat here. I would give a point to Canada for healthier food. Close the border. Americans tax dollars shouldn't have to pay for refugees when they're struggling to get by themselves. People can't afford to go to college in the U.S., it's so expensive. Cost of living goes up all the time. I have multiple degrees and can't really find a job and when I do, they always want to pay very low and def much lower than they started your counterparts at. There's a ridiculous homeless issue in the U.S. where I've met plenty that apply for jobs all the time and do not get hired. They even ask random people if they can work for them just for food, literally just for food. There are people everywhere that take things for granted including the U.S. but that's not the issue here. There are U.S. leaders that steal your money in taxes and retirement funds then misuse the funds. How is it fair for a hard working individual to have 30% of their gross removed from there paycheck then still required to pay the government when filing income taxes. You can buy a house, pay it off and never own it. The government is your forever landlord because property taxes are always due and are increased whenever authorities want them increased. Every country has serious issues.

And here i am, in the middle of eastern europe, studied hard, saved up every penny i could, even learned to code , found a good coding job, full remote these days, im in spain now, the beach is in my view.. i managed to do all of those things in the past decade, and still i was rejected by the us embrassy every single year, that makes a total of 11 times so far, not a word as to why, just rejected.. tbh i no longer want to move to the states.. i started begging you guys at 18, im 29 now.. i could’ve invested my talents and work in the us, while paying taxes there, instead i work for a us company in a very cheap part of the world while paying a small fraction of taxes to my home country.. keep letting those guys in and avoid us.. soon enough you wont have anyone defending you from the issue’s because the people that make good money and pay high taxes are leaving to make space for the homeless shelters and to avoid being stolen from by the mob
