As a Quebecer, I’m pretty proud to be in the number 1 ranking. But as a Canadian, I apologize for being number one.

I understand the list until b.c, alberta ontario and b.c should be all switched, alberta should be in the spot of British columbia because look at the economy, Albertas economy crashed and people are losing money because house values have went down and the cold is insane.The province otherwise is amazing.Ontario should be 2 and Quebec should stay at 1.For the people thinking Ontario should be 1 Quebecs technology and skill is ahead of canada because Quebecs lifestyle is similar to European lifestyle.I have been to Quebec this summer and understand why he put it number 1 but as a resident of Ontario and comparison to all provinces it shouldve been number 2 but thats just my opinion.

As someone who has lived in Quebec for 24 years this is the biggest bullshit for so called number one I have ever seen. It is literally the trash of Canada. I am moving to Ontario officially in December. Also calling bs on safety as the crime has sky rocketed in the area and I am in downtown Montreal.

Quebec, number 1?

Many people leave Canada after having success for a number of years and return to their native countries at the time of retirement. I agree about Québec being number one. I love île de la madeleine and Charlevoix. Québec city is great for the history and Montréal for the food. BC is a close second however for the weather.

Quebec has become number 1 at the expense of other provinces. they have received more money than all other provinces combined to pay for there lifestyle. The western provinces and Ontario have given absolutely massive amounts of money to them while at the same time lowing there own standard of living. If Quebec gave Alberta back about 170 billion dollars they look from them I dare say Alberta would take over top spot and Quebecs rise in taxes would make it unlivable

I have been to every province and territory in Canada country, are trying to paint a untruthful picture of Canada (yes I am Canadian). Halifax is hole that needs to be filled in, people are very unfriendly, high cost for everything. Vancouver is full of drug addicts and whores, terrible traffic, terribly high cost of living, rains a lot a. Vancouver is like California in the US, people go to make money and then get the hell out. Ottawa is nicer than Toronto, just a lot of over paid federal employees. Alberta should be number one. Quebec is a long ways from number one that is for sure, often Quebecers are the rudest people in North America, I know that for sure....... .

I am a British Columbian who briefly lived in Quebec, when the army posted me there for basic, I have to say Quebec is horrible, outside of Montreal, if you do not speak French. I also spent 5 years in Alberta & I would rank Alberta as number ☝️ of all of Canada’s provinces. \n\nThat all being said, I am sick of this country’s politics. I deeply regret serving this country due to how badly our current PM has treated us veterans, only PM to ever sue veterans & make massive cuts to veterans support funding. Furthermore, he is most corrupt in our history, & easily the least democratic or respectful to our laws and/or constitution… yet he has been re-elected TWICE!… because… reasons ??‍♂️ I do not know how dumb you have to be to vote liberal given Trudeau’s horrible track record on a laundry list of issues. I live in Manitoba, definitely number 10 lol and the winters are worse than described, but the amount of beautiful parks and lakes we have would place us 2nd or 3rd in that category. Also we have the highest homicide rate in Canada.

Pleasantly surprised to hear Quebec is number one. It's a short drive from my NH home. Before covid we used to go there on a whim. Can't wait for those days to return.

Coming from Russia, are you really complaining about life in Canada? Most of your points apply to large number of developed countries, no place is perfect, but Canada will give you a fair shot. Canada = shortage of doctors + they don’t allow foreign doctors to practice. And they don’t increase the number of medical students. Why? Maybe the doctors want to have the high demand and maintain their high salaries? Could be…. Other professions like plumbers don’t put a limit on their numbers
