Quebec wouldn't be my number one pick. Montreal is a nice but the winters in Quebec are cold as are a lot of the residents. The government is socialist with high taxes and the worst covid lockdowns in North America. Not a welcoming place for Anglo Canadians or American traveller's. I would probably say BC is the best province. It has the best of everything.

Let's not forget Quebec gets over $13 billion a year from Alberta to pay for that francophone entitlement! I think AB is definitely number one, Alberta has a more diversified economy than people give it credit for and the people are way nicer than Quebec! Calgary is known as the big little town where you can meet people so easily unlike the clicky francophones. Coming from a canadian who speaks french.

Most people get along very well with one another and; politics aside and as one who has travelled extensively throughout Canada, I concur with Quebec being the number one best province to live in. I would never live in Quebec as it has the highest provincial income tax rate. The starting rate on the first 45K of income is 15%, that's triple Ontario and BC. Ontario is number one for me. If you live in smaller city, the cost of housing is bearable. It's starting provincial tax rate is just over 5%, much like BC. Alberta is only tax friendly if you are earning at least $100 grand but for lower incomes, their starting tax rate is double that of Ontario and BC at 10%. I have seen a few cost comparison websites by province and NONE that I have seen mentions provincial income tax differences, a major omission.

He just told you what one problem is. Immigration. Immigration has continued but house building can't keep up. They should have acted years ago but all the foreign money being brought in to the big cities has put them out of reach. That's only the tip of the iceberg. We need immigration but what numbers I'm not sure?? Maybe the answer is tradesmen to catch up on the building trades and bring costs down? You are right. I am Canadian and it's cold, I mean, very cold. We can't wait for the summer which do not last and are very short. With the pandemic situation, everything changed in the last 2 years. Masks, take out, social distancing, no restaurants, cinema things like that, it got worst. I took an early retirement we moved in the country side where our parents were raised and all of our cousins and brother & sister are, people know each other. It's totally different. You go anywhere you are not a number, you are people. The bad parts are there are no much work or job available, you have to wait to get older to live there or if your lucky enough to get a job, you keep it, no choice and all the muskitos for a month in spring, it's so bad that you can't stay outside for too long. We call this ''muskito clouds''.

I am from Pakistan. Studied and lived in USA for over 10 years. Don't know where my time has gone so fast. Life is very busy in usa (I lived in Chicago, Denver, Orange County, CA and LA. People have to work two jobs to ends meet. Most people have to share housing...that really sucks. Constant expense (rent or mortgage payments are so high people have to constantly work. Whatever time people get they run chores and stay home and chill. You see ultra rich or people on welfare having fun at the beach. I have had a very close friend from pakistan came to usa same time as I did. we both never had enough time to meet up on regular basis. even when we met we had so many things in back of our minds running. I had couple of girlfriends (of course at different times) but they had other boyfriends at the same time. And number one thing they had on their mind is was get money from you. What you wear and drive is what you are. People consider you obsolete if you wear non branded shoes or older models of branded shoes. I traveled extensively in the US and Canada. But in East Europe like Romania and Poland I found people very friendly. Now I am back in pakistan facing basic problems like traffic jams, noisy honking streets and so on but for some reason i feel worriless and relax. whenever i go out, people start to talk to you and you feel like home. everyone is super friendly and is available for help. however you cant really trust people with money though. hahahha. After living in USA for so long I do really miss many things about it though. the efficient system is definitely a big plus. and i have realized that some times i like being all alone for extensive period of times. but knowing that i can meet up anyone any time gives me peace of mind. i have realized hard way that man made martials can amuse you to some extent only. you need live beings are you.

I agree with most of your video. I grew up in Quebec and its the best province in Canada. I think British Colombia deserve a better spot like number two. I lived two months there and Vancouver Island is an incredible place for vacation.

Of course thats alot of money for new comers...and as you said there was no payment plan or anything discussed in the letter.I called them back and the first thing they asked me was Are you alright right now? Do you need anything from us? And that was...an experience I never had before in my life. Then they discussed the way outs for the dues.\nSame goes for the jobs..the positions..the hiring...not the SAUDI/AJNABI shit going on at all ! Or the bribes we have to pay in Pakistan to get a basic job !\nThe difference in HUMANITY is big sir...among our countries and these. This is just un doable now. I live in Ontario and I agree with Quebec being number 1 especially for families. Ontario is getting too expensive for middle class and almost impossible for lower class unless you can work from home and live in the countryside.
