I left Canada several years ago...too cold, depression, racism high cost of living etc. Im very happy in the country of my birth great weather natural foods etc. I feel balanced here. I still keep my Canadian citizenship and visits sometimes, going back to live in Canada hmmmm not sure maybe. Its a beautiful country clean and welcoming but for now Jamaica is my home?????

Kick these vigelantties and similar peep out of the country. Stupid people, taking refugee, fleeing from their shithole countries instead of fighting to take it back and yet they have the audacity to call places their neighborhood and impose their laws on the hosting country people.\nIf you don't like how that country is, then you're more than welcomed to get the fuck out and back to your country.

I think relocating to Canada and subsequently leaving is a product of not having proper information or having a misconception about a western country before moving there in the first place. There's an emphasis of 'you really have to work hard' for new immigrants which they generally take for granted. Quite frankly, only sincere people empathize on hardwork. I find that most people seeking suggestion/advice always want to start from the top to bottom rather than bottom to top. Every society has it's own challenges. New immigrants who have just been in Canada for only 3years get frustrated while comparing themselves with people who have lived in Canada for 15 years. Growth is a gradually process, when it's automatic it's too good to be true!! All these similar countries run the say type of system, you gotta love where you chose to live. With that being said, we will continue to welcome new immigrants who re willing to start from the beginning to grow their dreams and wave goodbye to people who came and decided to leave. I love Canada ??

Sometimes I wonder if people think leaving Nigeria and life will be heaven on earth, have seen someone that jumped from a story building down cos the expectation he had about the Uk, maybe he was thinking of been served by one of her majesty servant ? Also Nigerians still don’t know that people leave on debt I had a relative asking if a 27 years old can share my flat meant for just one person because the daughter is paying out too much nothing left at the end of the month . Welcome to my world .

Welcome to the new world! This is why it’s our collective responsibility to demand effective leadership in Government in Africa. Before you chop off my head, I’m also in the system o. We need to find a way to reverse this trend.

Lookin for some love/comments for this Youtube video. Shocking evidence legal system in Canada is a complete shit show that facilitate, encourage and welcomes brutal child abuse. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r3QPQmrHj0I

For the same reasons I am thinking to leave this country. One more reason for me is my Arab origins maybe not very welcomed.

Im Asian and I love Vancouver! The weather is beautiful and mild! I enjoy the rainy days cozying up with nice jazz music on gorgeous cafes and restaurants Vancouver has. It is expensive yes, however if your Asian its not, you just havent explored the Asian market place, cheap housing are also available in the outskirt cities and the best part of it is you are near the beaches and outdoor recreation and fun! Taxes are high yep thats true however with three different surgeries my family had from Apendicitis, to Gall bladder stone removal and stent angioplasty that could have cost us millions but got it for free, also the Free education, Child support, CERB, etc, taxes doesnt seem to matter anymore. British Columbia's mountain ranges, ski resort, hot springs, also Albertas Banf, Jasper, and Canmore for me are truly majestic safe and beautiful! Ive been all around South east Asia Europe and even the middle east however the welcoming nature and culture of Canadians and the power of a canadian Passport for me trumps all other cities in other countries. If you want to learn extreme news go to Asia like, China, North Korea, and the Philippines, also the USA the most extreme of them all! Rules are indeed frustrating but Canadian rules are nothing compared to Singapore, if you want freedom try India, try to walk in sexy clothing on the streets. In the Philippines everybody drives drunk specially on Friday nights. The Canadian mindset of a Multi cultural communinty and the welcoming athmosphere of their thinking for me is the reason why Canada is truly the best place to live.

As a foreigner, I also feel that Canadian people are polite but not welcoming at all! They'll hold the door for you, smile at you but never be friends with you. Is it because I'm in Quebec, or it's everywhere?\n\nI heard from an uncle that Newfoundland people are super friendly tho.

Imagine a country opening their borders and doors for you. They welcome you. Try to help you to exceed. You can get an education. Get a nice career. Raise kids . Only for you to try to force your religion on that country. Are you freaking mad?! What makes you think you can force another religion on a country that was founded on Christianity. Imagine what would happen if there were Christian patrols in Saudi’s Arabia . Imagining trying to put up monasteries all over the Middle East and Africa. What world do Muslims live in where they think this is acceptable ??

The national sport of Seal Clubbing is correct ...!!! Good answer gentlemen, welcome to Canada, your citizenship papers are in mail.

Don’t leave your country if you feel Canada ?? is not bowing to your needs. Putin is very welcoming to new immigrants.

Quebec wouldn't be my number one pick. Montreal is a nice but the winters in Quebec are cold as are a lot of the residents. The government is socialist with high taxes and the worst covid lockdowns in North America. Not a welcoming place for Anglo Canadians or American traveller's. I would probably say BC is the best province. It has the best of everything.

Do you know now why most peoples of the world hate you, America? .. You are a satanic station no more.. and whoever believes these nonsense comes in front of me to slap him.. Where did Dubai go, which is a Muslim town and welcomes any non-Muslim person, Egypt as well, and many Muslim countries.. So you will talk about this (horror ?) What you broadcast in front of the eyes of the world, remember that you were like swarming monsters in Iraq, Vietnam and Afghans ?.. Praise be to God, I am a Muslim

I'm in canada for 39 years and last year not having doktor and wait 20 hours in hospital must be very wonderful. Travel to home country? PM make sure that we can go. Welcome to Canada and keep hostage.

I wouldn't suggest you go to quebec as a anglophone cuz the francophones won't welcome you and will be rude in most cases. But hey if you speak french quebec is your best bet. You will also get PR very fast.

Boarders should have been closed 15yrs ago. No more refugees or immigration. Simple fix!. But the problem will continue to grow because canada welcomes the whole world ?.

Because Canada sucks! I lived in Montreal for five years and I left. It was the best decision I made. Immigrants are welcome to work those jobs Canadians do not want to do and to pay for the pensions for old Canadians while paying high taxes.

Facts are in 2021 Canada welcomed over 400 thousand new permanent residents. We printed over 400 billion dollars in the last two years. The average time for a permit to build a new house is over 6 months. What I don’t understand is that we welcomed all the new immigrants while in a housing crisis if a hotel is full do they still keep renting rooms? We printed 400 billion dollars to pay for Covid where if we would have just used masks and washed our hands we could have saved 400 billion dollars. With Canada having one of the world’s lowest population to land mass and tons of natural resources I can’t understand how we can’t cut costs shorten wait times on permits.

I am an Indian and I have lived in sweden for 4 years. It is more or less the same. I tried calling people for food but most of them never showed up or had no Interest. I am glad I left and return back to my country. Everything in moderation makes sense to me. If money is important then so is your culture, food and family that brings comfort to you. In the developing world, you will generally find people more friendly and welcoming. It is easy to get around with people. But not so in the west.

Not sure how I came upon this video but I'm American that's lived here all my life. It's so incredibly lonely, even as an American. I wish I could find people that want to have friendships and community. People like me are out there looking for friends and would gladly welcome immigrants!

Please don't come to North america.we don't want to pay for your scholarships.we can't afford to put our own children thru college. We can't afford to feed you.stay where you are welcome

Everyone's opinion will be different. I am black American. What u see now doesn't mean it's always been that way. When I was growing up in the suburbs of long Island, everyone was outside every chance they got. We kids made up games, jumped rope played in the parks went to the beach concerts etc. The adults, if lived in apartments including housing, sat outside and interacted. Neighbors in houses had block parties, new neighbor welcoming, and so on. One of the reasons at least in my community was that a lot of folks were from the south. Everyone spoke, knew each other in their villages. As time went on and more foreign born moved in things changed mainly because of difference in culture then in some places crime is bad. There's no one shoe fits all. It's different all over this big country.

I lived in Canada for 15 years and this rang true more & more as the years went on, I would never order food online as I needed an excuse to leave the house. At 49 I found myself pondering what to do with my life, I went on vacation to Thailand and the first thing that struck me was the openness and friendliness of the place. People sit in the front of their house with the doors open and everybody is welcome to say hi, of course there are exceptions. I now live in Thailand with my new wife in a small village, our doors are never locked, family comes, neighbours come, kids play, everybody is welcome anytime. Such a better way to live. Happy new year 'Songkran' from Thailand

2000 to 3000 refugees are walking across illegally into Canada and our government ‘welcomes’ them. 😂🤣 We are fools. We can’t even house our homeless or veterans, yet we give out everything to others. What a sad country.

I'm 100 percent in favor of bringing in Ukraine citizens to Canada because we are a Christian country and welcome anyone who is from a Christian country.
2022-03-30 0
Because Europe is welcome to Ukrainian people.but not for Afghan and Syrian refugees are being kicked out of the sea that’s why .
2022-03-30 0
Its Ok they wont have to pay their own way anymore. Youre welcome.

They’re the wrong colour. Any colour but white and Trudeau would be there to welcome them.
2022-03-29 0
The only people we should be letting into our country are refugees from western democracies that are being invaded by a sovereign nation that is bombing and murdering civilians. And so welcome Ukrainians! \n\nLet all the other people stay where they are and improve their own country before moving to ours. And those who have no choice but to leave, let us welcome them in and share our giant country full of endless wealth. \n\nAnd may socialism and Trudeau never spend another day in this country!!!

I'm Native & born here & don't even feel welcome in my own lands

The Canadian govt, backed by the media which they control, gives off this illusion that all creeds and cultures are welcomed in this country. But how do these different walks of life manage to intergrate into Canadian society for the long term unless there's enough support from their own ?
2022-02-24 0
I knew about Canada is that they don't welcome immigrants.
2022-02-22 0
It’s funny how the Prime Minister acts like he welcomes all refugees when he send a message on television but then he sends his colleagues in private to tell the immigrants no they are not welcome he is such a coward

Anyone have an idea of where a Canadian born and raised would be welcome to live? I want out of this dark, cold, impossible to get ahead place! lol I'm full of piss and vinegar and want room to explore and expand but I can't do that if I'm slaving from pay cheque to pay cheque! :(

Yes we are. We went to a thrift store where they insisted they take my moms bag and put it behind the counter. They didn't say anything about my much bigger bag. My mom is brown, I'm fairly light skinned.. as a kid I witnessed a driver telling her and my sister who is also dark skinned that there is no more room on the bus (when Cleary there was) I went to get off and he saw I was with them and he let them on. If I hadn't witnessed it myself I wouldn't have believed it. What's worse was this driver was also brown. I've seen this from people who have grown up here or lived here longer who believe they have more rights than newly arrived people or those with stronger accents.\nI'm lucky I have a group of very welcoming people around me, but I've seen it with bfs and new friends who haven't grown up here and how horrible some people are.\nWorse when you're in your home country and being cast out when this is your home. (Sadly my birth country is no different)

Did some simple maths.\n\nAround 40,000 student turned workers end up not receiving an ITA for PR before the expiration of their PGWP. Assuming most of these studies are 2 year or equivalent programs (which means the PGWP will be 3 years in length), you pay in around CAD 12,000 into the CPP. As a temporary resident, you are not eligible to claim the benefits you have paid into CPP until you have worked in Canada for a minimum of 10 years.(assuming you have not become a PR or citizen) That comes to CAD 480,000,000 in every turnaround.\n\nTo submit a CRS profile, you must have a language proficiency score. This is achieved upon completing an English language test either in the form of IELTS, TOFEL or CELPIP. The average cost of these tests can range from CAD 300-350. And they have a expiry date, usually around 2 years, because as we all know, speaking English is an acquired skill which you can abandon if you so wish, so they need to make sure you still speak English after 2 years or so. Funny enough, if you speak French, it is a completely different story, as a lot of provinces invite specifically people with strong French skill, and Quebéc has the right to make independent decisions of policies on immigration, as Quebéc is not a signatory on the Constitution Act of 1982, so they reserve the right to making their own policies independent from the federal government. (Did I mention the fact Canada is officially a bilingual country, but New Brunswick is the only official bilingual province?) This discrepancy in language preferences of candidates can be elaborated by the TR2PR pathway that was announced in April 2021. (Did I say math? Oops, a little politics won't hurt anyone) Getting back on maths, on this date there are 196,685 profiles in the CRS pool, which equates to around CAD 590,065,500 in ENGLISH LANGUAGE TESTING FEE alone. 2 years later it's gonna be another, and another, and another........you get the idea right?\n\nCanada welcomes you to spend some money, but there's no guarantees.
2022-01-21 0
People also from other language are watching this. Speaking only in hindi is not that welcoming.... Speak only in English
