bring your money, spend it, then get out!

This liberal government is so out of touch its rediculous. Our immigration minister is obviously just trying to collect a paycheck as bringing in over a million immigrants from now til 2026 is not the answer. Right now, our jobs and housing is in big trouble where even Canadians born here are having a hard time. They are trying to implement programs that just won't work. Try asking the average Canadian for common sense answers. Bringing in immigrants to build homes and work at Tim Hortons and McDonald's isnt the answer. Immigration numbers are destroying this country and this country literally isn't Canada anymore. PS. If you fly any other flag thats not Canadian in protest, go home because that crap is not acceptable. Take that crap back to your birth country.

The real problem that the government needs to address is how to increase the fertility of the population. We should not have to bring over hundreds of thousands of foreigners just to keep the country from collapsing economically.

And they bring in more and more refugees that don’t even speak a lil of English, and support them with money and jobs and living , what an irony ?

Cant bring a knife to a gunfight, it's illegal.

Started when Trudeau got Elected! Now he brings in everyone flooding and destroying the Country! POS Fascist

The Canadian way of dealing with issues: Throw money at it and bring more immigrants. in other words, provide a short term solution while creating a major long term issue.
2023-11-01 0
The government should stop taking refugees . Bring only genuine immigrants who can contribute to our country
2023-11-01 0
Bring in LESS immigrants & build more housing until the two balance. Then bring in as many immigrants as we have housing for !
2023-11-01 0
heres an idea. why not train the exploding homeless populations to build houses instead of bringing in immigrants to do it? sounds like a win win
2023-11-01 0
Bring em in, write them a fat cheque and then have them move on to greener pastures. Job well done.

Arbitrary migration targets are simultaneously increasing demand and suppressing wage growth. There are better ways to control immigration. I would suggest demand based approach with some guard rails in place. For instance, I would require all educational institutions to provide housing for international student (at least 50%). Businesses should be required to provide accommodation to all temporary/seasonal workers on top of the minimum wage. In order to hire foreigners employers should be required to prove that he is paying enough to afford housing in the region (market cost of accommodation is less than 30% of salary). Accommodation for refugees should be secured before bringing them to the country from around the globe. No accommodation = no permits. It would limit demand and prevent wage suppression.

why no focus on better education for Canadians instead of bring in more immigrants..

WHY NOBODY PUT IN A NEWS WHY THOSE CORRPORATION OUTSOURCING ENGINEERING JOBS OUT OF COUNTRY TO ASIA. IT IS JOKE BRING MANY FROM ASIA AND OUTSOURCE WORKS BACK TO ASIA AND SOUTH AMERICA. WHY DO YOU BRING MANY PROFFESIONALS IMMIGRANTS HERE IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH QULITY JOBS ? GOVERTMENT CAN NOT CREATE A JOBS BUT IMPORTING IMMIGRANTS HERE. IT IS A PATHETIC
2023-11-01 0
Looks like you are preparing Canadians that you bring more isn't?
2023-11-01 0
We need more of them to leave. They came here looking for handouts, and offer nothing to this country. We need to bring back a family structured society!
2023-11-01 0
What do you expect? We bring them here pay them pennies to do the dirty jobs, don't provide any healthcare to them and leave them living in the streets due to lack of housing. Perhaps we should put a hault to immigration until we get our act together.

this is scary. we don’t even know who we’re letting into our own country. and with everything currently going on, who knows how many of them are sleeper agents or terrorists sent to destroy the country from within? especially with a vast majority of them being fighting age men? islamic extremists, terrorists, all people we’re letting cross into our country FREELY, and supporting and encouraging BETTER than our own citizens?!\n\nmany of them hate the very country, people, and values they’re illegally entering and eventually overpopulating and mass influencing. eventually these same people will hold positions of power, and the sheer number of them is absolutely overwhelming and can’t be ignored, with the number increasing each day our borders remain open, and security and stricter laws aren’t enforced. and with the constant display of weakness and incompetence from our “leaders”, they may just be emboldened. i’m afraid that one day, they may just rise up and commit mass terrorism. looting, murder, are all possibilities. and with the sheer number of them, we wouldn’t be able to do anything about it. they would be the ones in power now. thing is, our country supports and helps the illegals who hate them more than their own citizens. it’s absolutely treasonous. the longer our borders remain unprotected and wide open, their numbers will only increase, and so will their terrorism. \n\nnot only that, but the amount of illegals we constantly let in and those who are already in, are absolutely negatively impacting our country’s economy, living conditions, population is increasing, many of which are illegals and are a danger to our society, their numbers increasing by the day and taking over our country from within and them holding positions of power, homelessness and cost of living is rising, debt and inflation also keep rising, etc. it’s all bad. \n\nmass deportations must be enforced, but even then, im afraid that too many of them have already infiltrated the country. and considering how our own government hates us and spends billions on everything else BUT their own citizens. it’s not looking good and has huge potential to explode into something terrifying. \n\nthis is already a massive ongoing threat in america, and the possibility of it happening here in Canada becomes more likely the longer our borders are open, and the longer stricter laws and more protective and security measures aren’t being enforced. canada must be canada FIRST with the safety, security, and well-being of our citizens FIRST. \n\nthough with the constant numbers, and the continued ignorance, evil, and corruption in our government, i’m afraid they’re already here waiting for the right moment to strike us. \n\nthat’s why above all, we can’t rely on our leaders to do anything or bring us peace. the only one who can, is Jesus Christ. the one who gave His life for us and gave us the free gift of salvation. all we must do, is follow him, pick up our crosses, have faith in him, and have a relationship with him. \n\nwe must all repent of our sins and lovingly follow him. that is all that matters. God bless you all.

You need to bring someone to your show to talk about healthcare cost in USA. Healthcare in USA is scary to me...I don't want to save money and spend everything on healthcare.
2023-10-28 0
the real answer is - lack of big canadian companies, real-estate dependent economy and the need to continously keep pumping money in the universal healthcare. As older population in canada retire, they need young people to keep paying taxes to keep things running and thats why canada keeps bringing in a huge number of immigrants.

Massive immigration same as Australia. Many that bring money made from corruption in other countries. They launder money into the housing system. They maybe able to come permanently via their sons and daughters sponsorship who graduated as international student.\nIt will get worse.

B.C actually stands for “Bring Cash”
2023-10-23 0
Worst thing that's ever happened to Canada is bringing you lindus here
2023-10-23 0
Punjabis are true Indian nationalist. We understand u deserve justice for whatever happened in 1984. Every wrong done should be punished but didn't which in turns obviously brings further uncontrollable aggression. But still feels U can't think of just Khalistan; Whole India is yours; You have sacrificed a lot for India; Indians love you and have respect for same.

I live in Italy for long time because of such difficulties my families are still in Ghana. I don't want to bring them over here to face that different education to end up doing labour job in a factory.

Truth be told, Canada is well structured and only Chorkor will bring these opportunities to light. I can’t thank you enough

Don't worry, we'll bring a million more. Immigrants
2023-10-21 0
I wasn't born here but I've lived here now for 45 years and my god! This place is sadly going into a nose dive. Our Politicians don't realize how good this city and country is and they have ruined it over the years by having an obtuse outlook on the future of Toronto and this country. Crime rate is so high, cost of living is insane. No housing.Housing is suppose to be a fundamental human right and our politicians have made it into a pure luxury now. The other thing is wages have not reflected the cost of living in this country since 2000. Most do not earn a living wage here and its so disappointing to see. The Federal Gov wants to bring about a 1million more immigrants into Canada within a few years...Where would they live? Most are already living in tents in the streets. Its fine now but what happens when winter makes its entrance? From the Provincial Gov to Federal Gov this country is sadly run by idiots!

Homelessness has been going for years, and IT IS A KNOWN.\n\nWHY TRUDEAU KEEP BRINGING IN FOREIGN STUDENTS, FAKE REFUGEE AND ASYLUM SEEKERS\n\nTHIS IS 100% TRUDEAU FAULT , HE LACKS THE KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE TO BE A LEADER FOR A WESTERN COUNTRY.\n\nHE SHOULD GO AND BE A PRESIDENT OR PRIME MINISTER FOR A THIRD WORLD COUNTRY.

Regarding American vs Canadian alcohol, the beer is watered down, but the liquor is definitely cheaper. So enjoy the whiskey and rum! Don't forget the wine, vodka, tequila and the rest. Even after the exchange rate, the alcohol is cheaper in the states, just don't try to bring it home in the same day.

You wanted to come to the west to come to the west. How well did you plan your journey. I do not feel sorry for you. You made the choice to cone to this side of the world. You should have left your family in Nigeria if you are there to study. All the struggles you are talking about many other people are going through the same struggle. The first thing you should have done from Nigeria was learn about Canada, then look foe room and board that was close to your school. You should have left your family back home but that's the problem with you Nigeria. Apply for school visa then go the country bring your family trying to circumvent the immigration process. So deal with whatever struggles you are now faced with. Stop complaining you have only yourself to blame. Life in the west is not going to be easy until......

IAS = Indian Ayah Service. Kudos to all those who bring their parents to USA, Canada, and UK to do household chores.

I have been living in Sydney for the last 23 years. Originally from Fiji and my ancestors were from India. Was watching this episode and want to correct a few things. \nAll the Supermarkets are open till 10pm, most chemists are open till 10pm, restaurants are opened till 9.30 to 10pm. Major fast food chains open 24hours. I think this person hasn’t explored Sydney properly. One thing a person should think before going to another Western country is that we can’t bring the whole country or lifestyle food families with us. Life is a struggle but once you tackle these issues you will love to live the Western lifestyle. \nAustralia is such a beautiful country to live.

Hospital wait times in Canada are a nightmare because EVERYONE goes to the ER for EVERYTHING and ANYTHING. \n We don’t have “Urgent care clinics” like you have in the USA. \nWe have walk in clinics (basically just family physicians who don’t actually take on patients on a permanent basis and close by like 4pm \nYour kid has a cold - emergency room\nLittle scrape falling off a swing set - emergency room\nStung by a bee? - emergency room\n\nNo one has any idea how to care for themselves here. Can’t bring down a fever with Tylenol, can’t clean a wound that doesn’t require medical intervention, can’t do anything because we’ve been so coddled with “free medical care”

Day to day living, - not much different. Guns in the US bother me as does lack of social healthcare. Wish I could bring your warm winters up here.

It's so interesting to see your viewpoint! Thank you for the insights! :) \n\nI live in Switzerland, and travel to Canada often, also Toronto twice. I love it there. I feel safe and seriously at home there, since well, Canada and especially larger cities are the safest place for the LGBT-community.\n... So still I want to move there, but let's see what my next visits bring :)

@17:35. Trashy people, poorly socialized people. That is dependent on your upbringing.\nWhere I originally come from, People who were raised by both parents, living in tin shacks, are better socialized than some couples riding in their newish trucks.\nDid your parents bring you up to be respectful? Did your school teachers tell you to be respectful? Did the teacher send you to the headmaster if you were disrespectful, including cussing? If they did not teach you that, guess what!

Filthy mud creatures. Why did we bring modern civilisation to them? They do not deserve it ??

I'm going to bring up a non health care , social or gun violence issue that every American I've met who comes to Canada ususally comments on and that's how clean Canada is compared to the State, the pollution in the states is unbelievable its like no one cares there , in my province we have 4 different garbage pick ups once a week recycling for plastic paper glass cans and, Green bin food waste used to create clean compost , and seasonally yard waste every 2 wks again for composting and finally actual garbage which is only picked up every other week , seem like Americans just chuck there trash where ever they please

My dad comes for a visit from Florida. While visiting I had to bring him to the hospital, they fix him up and send him home . It cost him 2700 Canadian dollars and he was reimbursed by his American plan . They wanted a itemized breakdown, which they got. If he went in to American care for the same , it was 30,000 American dollars,

You say you can raise a loving normal family and live a happy life in the USA but no Canadian in their right mind would bring or want to raise kids there because of how many school shootings there are… it’s just absurd. In Canada this is un heard of and would never ever cross our minds as something that could happen to your child.

We have pondered moving to the US but it always scares me thinking of all the service safety nets behind. I don't know how many Americans know this, but basically at birth you are assigned a health card which you keep for the rest of your life. Anytime you go to the doctor they ask for that and it has all your info on it (family doctors, your address, etc) and that's all you do. See the doctor and then leave. Private/work health insurance is more for prescription, dentists, massage, therapy, physio, eye, ambulance rides, etc. \nBut childbirth, ER visits, doctors visits all covered by that card...which is funded by our are taxes. We are taxed to hell and back on the daily but it's just so normal you don't think differently of it. We do have a shortage of Dr's though. An ER wait can be upwards of 2-4 hours and your family doctor can take weeks to get an appointment with so you usually have to go to a hospital or walk in if it's urgent.\nAlso, guns. Guns guns everwhere ? I saw a sign when I was walking into Walmart in Florida saying to not bring guns inside and I just couldn't believe that was a thing that had to be said. In Canada, guns are for hunting and going to the range and that's the only time they're allowed out of their safe. Obviously you have people who have stolen and smuggled guns and that's how you get gun crimes (you need a special card to buy guns and ammo, that you get after passing a gun safety course and *most* gun crimes are not committed by people who hold those cards). I appreciate the fact that you don't have so many restrictions on the types of guns you can get but man, I never felt so rattled just walking around after seeing that sign

Thanks for bring out things, I didn't knew. Sad only thing I get out of this .They (Whites) successfully divided us. We are biggest fools for not realising this game.

Just because there are only white employees in certain company, doesn't immediately mean that somebody is racist. Believe me, every company wants to have most profit from its work, so if any black/asian/latino would bring more $$$ to the company they would be hired over somebody that is white. But some people are looking for racism everywhere.
