You said at 1min 12sec i quote ''when you ask Americans'''you ment everyone living in America or only those living in United States (United Staters) ? Because all people living in America North or south are Americans. And tell me why after the abolition of slavery (wich was a good thing) why the slavers had no obligation to return these people to their respective homes.

One thing about traveling abroad , if you come to the United States, to go back home they will not becos, they are worried what their fellow Nigerians say .

For the people wondering why so many Venezuelans are coming to America. Venezuela is so messed up right now you can’t even get a flight there from the US directly.\n\nOfficial travel advisory from US government. Travel.State.gov :\n\nDo not travel to Venezuela due to crime, civil unrest, kidnapping, and the arbitrary enforcement of local laws. Reconsider travel due to wrongful detentions, terrorism, and poor health infrastructure.\n\nCountry Summary:  On March 11, 2019, the U.S. Department of State announced the withdrawal of diplomatic personnel from U.S. Embassy Caracas. All consular services, routine and emergency, remain suspended until further notice.\n\nViolent crimes, such as homicide, armed robbery, kidnapping, and carjacking, are common.  Political rallies and demonstrations occur, often with little notice.  Demonstrations typically elicit a strong police and security force response that includes the use of tear gas, pepper spray, and rubber bullets against participants and occasionally devolve into looting and vandalism. Reports from the Independent International Fact-Finding Mission document human rights abuses attributed to the Maduro regime, including torture, extrajudicial killings, forced disappearances, and detentions without due process and/or fair trial guarantees or as a pretext for an illegitimate purpose. Shortages of gasoline, food, electricity, water, medicine, and medical supplies continue throughout much of Venezuela. The CDC issued a Level 3 ‘Avoid Nonessential Travel’ notice on September 30, 2021, due to inadequate healthcare and the breakdown of the medical infrastructure in Venezuela.

This guy is typical Nigerian. He forgot the fact that he made the choice of going to Canada and he can move out of Canada if he wants. \nThe most important part of his comment was when he revealed the fact that in Nigeria, you play why performing your job, but in Canada, you have to do your job as stated. \nHe will end up living all his life in Canada with his family.\nNigeria is county that belongs to elites, whose impunity has no metrics.

Great documentary, but in my opinion, it's terribly one-sided, portraying these colleges as villains and the students as poor, innocent victims. As a former international student from India myself, who had the privilege of attending a prestigious university in the UK, working there, and moving on, the workings of this situation are as clear as daylight and as old as the hills. \nIt wasn't any different back then in the UK 20 years ago, during the heady Blair days, when UK colleges significantly increased their intake of international students, aided by a lax visa regime. This was also in response to tighter visa restrictions in the US following 9/11. Students enrolling in such colleges, as well as the parents funding them, are well aware that these are degree mills. The sole aim here is to somehow navigate through college and stay long enough until permanent residency comes through. \nTears flow and protests erupt only when this unspoken but clearly understood agreement is broken, often with the media conveniently at hand. The reasons driving this insatiable urge are multifarious, but poverty and lack of opportunities in the country (in this case, India) do not really rank high on the list. Social prestige and an imagined better life in the 'West' certainly do, particularly among young people from states like Punjab, Haryana, and parts of Gujarat. \nNothing about this is illegal, and not to sound cynical, these are market forces at work. However, in my view, this represents a more accurate truth. It would be great to see Fifth Estate also report from this side

As a Canadian, its not surprising that more people prefer the United States.

Salary in Nigeria is not better because where I work as HSE man in an oil depot, I get paid three thousand five hundred naira for a day in Rivers State. We work 12 hours with no overtime pay, including public holidays and weekends. The tribal discrimination is so high in the company. An Igbo man own it, if you are not an Igbo man in that company, no promotion for you, no salary increase, and one is subject to train a new employee from that tribe, immediately you finish training the person he or she automatically becomes your boss. Stop discouraging others for a greener pasture in canada.

Chalk it up to cultural difference. The guy didnt do anything wrong but it might raise some eyebrows and worry people. Odd how depending on the state he could have had a holstered pistol and people would be cool with it. All a matter of where you come from I suppose

Mexicans are getting pissed to of these mass migration things. I seen in first hand. The people in mexico were nice at first handing out food amd caring, but these migrants take the food, eat half, and just dump there garbage everywhere and move on. If anyone has been to mexico their central plazas in all cities are very nice and clean. Cleaner then places in canad and the states. The migrants going through mexico if they don't get their way, they will gang up and attack the officers etc. Maybe they think they can do the same to america

I just hope Canada can fix its housing crisis because that is severe. But if it can get low enough for people to live a comfortable life then it probably would be preferred by many, including United States residents. Like not having a life of excess but one without major worries day in and day out. It also helps that Canada in general is much better at providing public service than the US whether it be healthcare or public transit.

Looks like Justin got his post national state because the country he inherited is definitely gone

Being born and raised in Canada and immigrated to Australia there are very similar countries extremely expensive both of them, you’ve got a check out Vancouver housing prices, you’ll be shocked!\nThe weather in Canada is pretty shitty the politics it’s completely woke I and tons of drug abuse and higher crime level, but the people are friendly. You’re close to the United States and it’s more multicultural.

In Canada, industry and technology are not as advanced as Western Europe, the United States, Japan, China and South Korea

So he is supposed to follow the state law. Good. Now where can he wear his kripan, and expect not to be questioned, harrased, discriminated? Only one country - India.\n\nYet they are fighting against India, with Khalistani agenda. How misguided can someone be?!

Seems like an issue that the border czar to handle. Get her down there to straighten it out. Hahahahahahaha. Because you see America is a country and mexico is also a country. And when one country has people that want to goto another country then they try to goto the other country. So then you have people try to get to that other country. And then the country that is a country will have more people in that country. And the other country will have less people in that country. \n\nSomething tells me the people that voted for kamal toe. Will read that and say. “Oh my god, that’s soooo true”. But if you’re someone that voted for kamal toe and crackhead Sr. Then all the illegals should have a bed in your home. You voted for it. So they are all your problems now. California, New York, D.C., and all the other left wing nut ran states should be forced to take responsibility for the illegals coming over by the thousands. But the minute they get to kamal toes state she calls it unethical and racist and dehumanizing to ship illegals there. But it’s okay to freely let them over just so long as they stay out of her city. But whatever. No surprise that the left is full of hypocrisy and lies. Can’t even figure out who left their cocaine in the White House. Even with all the cameras, security guards, checkpoints, and metal detectors. Maybe it’s not “ can’t” but more they “don’t want to” figure it out. \n\nOn a side note. If you get pulled over and have 3 people in the car with you and the cop finds cocaine, and nobody fesses up to it. They all can be charged. Soooooooooo. Just figured I’d share that small piece of information.

The people of Venezuela voted for communism when they elected Hugo Chavez's which was also supported heavily by Sean Penn and Danny Glover amongst others. The only thing Americans can do is be smart and not let these Hollywood communist destroy the United States the way they did Venezuela. May they all rot in hell!!!

Dude, Vancouver is the Bel Air California of Canada. You never use Vancouver as an example. That's like someone referencing Bel Air in comparison to the entire United States. That's where all the rich and upper-class people live, whom aren't the majority. But ya, Canada sucks. I live in the worse part of Canada. We call it, Quebec. lol Trust me bro, Quebec is the most isolated part of Canada. Canada is going to end up like Venezuela. It's actually heading there faster than I predicted it would.

Adjust gdp for services and government and the true state of canada appears, i will be dead as the decline continues but my poor children and grandchildren and yours will have a much less fullfilling life than my and previous generations. Canada needs a vision, we have all the resources and people, BUT NOT THE LEADER to see it.

I do feel sry for those people, but theres few things we need to address.. if they get here.. how they are going to survive if we hardly have jobs for us..\nThey forgit that america is not longer a place of freedom, our leaders had 5urn us into democracy, iron walls.took our freedom of speach, teach our kids they are praying nouns n to disrespec their parents if they tell them something else, where christians are becoming the enemy and evil the friends.. the president is a child molester n his wife has to shutup, our unborn child is already mark with a death sentence, America is NOT longer the land of the freedom, and the braves.. America. Is worse than their own country, to die here i should die were i was born, sadly im american n see my country gong down hurts… people u are no one here just like we are.. \nwe work all out lives, n when we need help is denied, but imigrants not even an id to proced who they are are been gupiven, housing, food, medical and money, im disable working for america, n i cant even get food stamps cuz i was granted ne (1) lousy dollar ne time n the food stamps said i made enought dont need food stamps, but my neighbors is an imigrant, her husband work, they even pay for her house, n me i was told no help cuz im not old enough.. what u mean.. i dont say anything about my friend cuz shes my friend but we can keep housing those that never put a penny into our land. Why they get benefits n we dont? Again i feel sry for them i really do, but what about us..the real citizens of United States of Anmerica..??? The real Americans.. we work, we paid, n we die.. they dont do a thing n yet they get more than me..i only applied for food but she said u did a dollar extra this mo, we closin* your case.. but ne time food n one time that dollar..

The REAL issue in Canada: \n\nA crumbled economy and totally wrong focus from its silly leader. \n\nOne of the many symptoms of the above: \nThe property price fiasco…(merely a symptom). \n\nCanada is very similar to the UK and non-city areas of the USA……a FAILED state with a crushed economy thats in deep shit but gorgeously covered up by the media and manipulated statistics. \n\nLook around your town. \nHow many are actually full-time employed with real jobs, who can pay off 100% credit card bills every month and all loans every month? \n\nHence, you are living in a FAILED state.

I lived in Turkey for 7 years then brought my wife back to the United States after COVID. Now that I know what I'm missing in this world I'm not very happy in America. No neighbors, no community, no social interactions, no interesting store-fronts. My wife is even more miserable. We have made 0 friends in nearly 2 years in America. I have spent more money on car maintenance than doing anything fun in life. Too bad these miserable anti-human cities will never change.

Joe Biden, and his attempt at the hostile takeover of the United States government.

The way I see this recession most likely has an external cause. The United States is losing influence as a federal currency for the first time in decades. They don’t have any economies to utilize to control their inflation, and less money is being spent on stock and oil trading than previously. They all lend credence to the hypothesis that a new multilateral world order may be in the works.

When my grandparents came here to the United States to make a better life for them and their children, some of them born in Mexico but most of them were born here in the United States! My grandparents worked bought their home here in America never sent any money to Mexico to a bank to save when they were ready to retire. They stayed here in the United States they lived and they died here! They kept their money here because they moved here and they stayed here! My grandfather did not build a home in Mexico, he didn't save money to move back to Mexico! Because he loved the United States and wanted to escape the Injustice and the property in Mexico.

You never mentioned the real reason for Canada's immigration policies. The stated goal of 100 million by the turn of the century. 50 million by 2050. We don't need computer specialists or foreign doctors, we need iron workers, framers, plumbers, electricians, carpenters and especially bricklayers. \nFor example in the case of Doctors: We just need to approve foreign university trained degrees of Canadians who can't get into Canadian Medical Schools and instead go offshore. \nOur Canadian Universities need to ween themselves off the quick cash Liberal Arts teets and focus more on STEM and Small Business occupational training

You miss the point about school shootings. Just the prevalence of weapons in the US makes the possibility of a shooting far greater, so in my Canadian eyes, there is NO safe place in the states. I have American relatives, and the first time my sister showed me the hand cannon she carried in her car it freaked me out. I’m not a shrinking violet when it comes to weapons. I was in the military for 6 years and spent 33 as a federal parole officer. Truth. be known, I owned a .357 for years prior to the birth of my first child, and although I kept it in a locked box with a trigger guard and the ammunition in a separate locked box after the birth of my first child I couldn’t countenance keeping it in my house.

0:01: ?? Canada has a higher percentage of immigrants than the United States and is attracting young professionals in fields like engineering, medicine, and science. \n3:41: ? The H-1B visa process for immigrants in the US is challenging and uncertain, with limited spots available and a lottery system determining selection. \n6:09: ? The process of obtaining a green card in the US is complex and restrictive, with long waiting times and limited opportunities to change employers. \n9:24: ? High-skill workers prefer immigrating to Canada due to its transparent and predictable immigration process, immediate permanent residency, and equal treatment regardless of nationality, despite lower salaries compared to the US. \n13:06: ? The high cost of housing in Canada compared to lower salaries is discouraging immigrants from settling there, while the broken American immigration system is pushing them towards Canada. \n15:25: ?? Canada is pro-immigrant and supports a multicultural society, with a majority of its political parties and citizens in favor of immigration. \nRecap by Tammy AI

Section 47(2) of the Criminal Code of Canada outlines the offence of treason. Treason is considered the most grave and serious offence against the state. The offence of treason is committed when an individual engages in certain prohibited acts against the state, such as waging war against Canada or attempting to undermine the authority of the Canadian government. The section provides different levels of punishment for varying degrees of the offence. A person who commits the offence of treason under paragraphs 46(2)(a), (c), or (d) is liable to be sentenced to imprisonment for life. These paragraphs outline acts such as plotting to overthrow the government, assisting an enemy, or preparing to invade Canada. If a person commits the offence of treason under paragraphs 46(2)(b) or (e) while a state of war exists between Canada and another country, they are also liable to be sentenced to imprisonment for life.

I am South African and feel for the US as we also have a similar immigration problem from our neighbouring states. No country can accomodate this amount of immigration. It is just not sustainable???

TRAVELLED THERE BUT MOVING THERE ? NEVER ! Oh by the way, stop calling your country AMERICA. The Americas are continents of which there are 2: NORTH America and South America. Your country has no name per say ,,,'The United States', Yeah we all can see how ''united'' you guys are nowadays. Actually only a few of the New England states are inhabited by more sensible people, a majority being descendanta of Acadians and French Canadians.- I rest my case !

I'm a US citizen who lived in Australia for 2 years. The process there is very similar to Canada's but with a slightly stronger tilt towards specific skills. The recession hit in 2014 and, without a sponsor, they weren't renewing most visas so we had to GTFO. I'm still sad about it. Obviously my life in the States is nothing to cry about but our life in Oz was amazing..
2023-08-08 0
I have travelled to the US often for work for close to 25 years, visiting client sites. While I live in Canada, I had witnessed so many experiences and differences that it became impossible to consider a move there. There are obvious tax advantages (most states, though not all, combined with fed taxes have a lower tax rate, as well as write off benefits of owning a house). Racism is a problem here too, towards black people (among others) and including violence and systemic racism towards our indigenous population (e.g. police and healthcare), but the level of systemic and societal racism in the US towards black people is difficult to comprehend.\n\nIn my work experience in the US over the years, my team was in Utah at the time of a mass shooting in the mall that we'd typically go for dinner. An employee at the company shot and killed his wife in the church parking lot. I've been at a conference in Nashville that had to be locked down because there was a shooting in the mall next door (to the Grand Ole Opry), which was across the highway from the restaurant were there was the shooting where a black man took down the shooter earlier that year. As an employer our company couldn't believe the costs the company had to pay. California was ridiculously high, but so even was Texas.\n\nWith Obamacare the US is making huge strides in healthcare. It's not just about the health insurance coverage, but the fact that the legislation is forcing insurance and healthcare providers to standardize their systems, and make the data flow much better. This will allow for more innovation, faster handling of transactions, and transparency of costs (an example is people not knowing their cost until AFTER going through the procedure). I believe the US will outstrip Canada (which is only in the middle of the pack of developed countries) in service for cost in about 10 years.
