Even tho I don’t think this is correct, U.S people luckily finds themselves on a good position to see this just as people making a tantrum to enter the U.S, proudly I say I’m Mexican American and I’ve lived in Mexico and Brasil as well, non of those Latin American countries I lived is as bad as Venezuela and even like that I’ve seen some very messed up shit, they are countries with a huge culture and beautiful but on the lowest levels it’s a pretty dark place to be…so for the USA people here that is heavily throwing shit, be some kind of human try to understand at least , I get it, I don’t think this is the way neither, but they are not just people trying to invade to take over or whatever, I even saw a comment saying that they should shoot those Venezuelans, the world is a pretty messed up thing now, and luckily or unluckily we don’t really know a shit about it, they are DESPERATE it seem like they were violent and most probably some of them tried to get violent but most of them is just desperate people trying to have it better in their only and one only lives..worst yet, if you have a kid, imagine how worried would you feel for not being able to provide your kid with a good life… see the people in the front for example, they were people begging and crying, is being desperate for having something better, and this is a really biiiiiiig subject with a lot of issues, wrongs, misunderstanding… you don’t know how bad is going in Venezuela, not even me, but I can imagine it cuz I know how bad some people have it in Mexico, and they don’t know how them illegally getting into the US is going to affect the US, I try to get all points so I don’t think this is correct, this kind of events shouldn’t be happening, but I also understand, just to put it in perspective, I’ve talked with some people from Venezuela and they’ve told me some crazy stuff, quick example. McDonalds something most American people know …for one person only it can be around 15 - 20 bucks, in Venezuela, and I think minimum wage rn is around 6.15 bucks and if it’s good it can be around 20 - 30 A MONTH, now apply this formula to EVERYTHING, housing, bills, expenses and I think things in Venezuela for a little bit better not that long ago,so it was worst than what I just told you, imagine you finish college you have somehow of a decent life and for things you don’t understand and no one advise you of, next week your job, money is not even half of the value it had last week, imagine if it was you and your family, your kids…I don’t have kids but I know my mom would’ve done anything for trying and give me not even a luxurious life, but a kinda decent life, and I know most of people would’ve done the same, and not only for your kids, also your mom, dad, sisters, brothers and even YOURSELF…again, I’m not saying this is correct or it’s not I’m just saying at the end our surrounding make us do whatever we are doing….I get you not being okay with this, but try to be comprensible and not go straight into hate for this people. \n\nUnfortunately I wouldn’t imagine anything to solve this problem and I hope something better comes for the entire world right now …but I just doubt it…

Well now you know how we feel in germany ? we have no housing for us but take more and more refugees, our countrry is smaller than Texas! I came to the states when I was little unfortunately I had to start working I was 15 I worked in a restaurant so i could support my sick mother in my country then I learned English and moved into a different job I never had the opportunity to go to the school since Noone would supported me !! I fall in love with some US girls we have 2 kids she worked sometimes I never pushed her to do so ! I tried to fix papers but the lawyers took my money and never did nothing about it ! I got into a traffic incident I got a ticked and fine once I payed off I get caught and sent back to a place I should call home !! I don't know nobody here don't know the place anymore !! dangerous people crazy !! my kids abandoned in the states now probably their mother asking for help to the government? who knows the last thing I heard is she was selling what it used to be our properties! I don't have contact with my kids anymore ! is horrible then we have this people just going there and getting asylum??? not fare!

Count how many battles were fought; how many wars; how many people died; how many Americans became POW’s on our own land during the Civil War. Look how hard it’s been. Look how hard it is now. We never stop fighting for what we want. Freedom takes work. America isn’t some island paradise. It never has been. We all live on the same earth. We all experience hardship. And there’s no amount of money, illegal border crossing, or anything else that can keep us from that harsh reality. In life we’re going to suffer. That’s just how it is. Stop thinking that illegally crossing a border is somehow going to solve all problems. It won’t. The grass isn’t greener on the other side just because. Bloodshed makes that grass green: Sacrifice. And to take the money that us Americans work hard for and pay for this is despicable. We paid 40k in taxes and special programs last year and we don't get a single word in as to where it gets spent. Our social security will be eaten up by the time we are old enough to collect it and we will probably never use disability due to a moral standard. I'd much rather keep all of our $ and then give it to whom I feel deserves it. Many of these people are not bad people, but they will use our handouts and most will not try or have the ability to get off of them. This administration is the most inhumane, America hating administration I have ever witnessed or heard of here in the U.S.

I’m not sure when entitlement to illegally cross US borders became so high. I can’t fathom what these people went through or what they even had to go through to even reach the border, I’m sure they’re desperate and famished but there must be some other solution than just opening the borders.

Wow! That was wild. Here in San Ysidro everything was calm and actually civil. People waited their turn. I live nearby so I saw it with my own eyes. People at las Americas outlet would pass by food to them and the officers gave them the food. I was an immigrant 35 years ago I am now a us citizens and although I love the USA, I will always remember the struggles I had to go through. The hunger, the injustice, the reject and the cultural assimilation, learning a new language, and work work work until I couldn’t no more. All those efforts paid off and I believe EVERYONE has a right to have a better life. I have family members in Canada and Europe who are also immigrants and also go through these struggles. If they don’t make it to the USA, I hope the Mexican government takes advantage of this immigration influx, after all, the USA is great because of us. It’s time other countries take advantage and advance as well ??
