It’s bad enough these people so casually break laws and become criminals..... but to involve your children and actually teach them that, if you want something, you should ignore laws and break laws to get it and even steal it from others!! Sickening!! They shouldn’t be allowed to even have kids!!

This silliest part of this story is that if he could write a resume listing all that construction work that he has done he could easily find work that pays comparable wages to what he gets in Canada or the US in most Latin American countries. And he wouldn't even have to deal with documentation problems and culture shock. Construction businesses in those countries would be delighted to have workers capable of working to North American standards.

People complain of illegal immigrants being here , but when they are doing jobs nobody wants . Not even with 401k , vacation time, sick pay and higher wages ... A lot of people comment about how illegal immigration is ok, and blah blah blah. It's simple to say that when you don't feel the direct impact. Change the US as a country to your house. Now let's say the neighbors land Lord is beating the shit outta everyone in that household (play on the violence that's happening in country of orgin). One of then move into your house without letting you know beforehand (illegals). Let's say you don't mind and understand why they did so. Now they work hard around the house and get a job to spend for themselves and send money next door to the family still left behind. . But they don't have to pay for electricity, gas (aka taxes). And since you own a 3 bed room house, things don't change that much. Now 2 more of the neighbors flee because of the asshole land Lord. Now you have to start working slightly harder to pay for your utilities aka taxes. Now you start seeing how more people affect your household. Now even more people flee the next door neighbors and you work even harder for utilities plus your trash is overflowing, have to invest in larger trash cans, fix the doors or ascetic's(pipes, faucets, tubs etc) in your house from over use or mismanagement. Plus you have to start driving their kids to school, you have to get a bigger vehicle (that's a play on the education systems bloating classroom problems)spend more on gas and car maintenance, and since they all don't speak English, to have to spend money on making signs to inform them of the house rules and dangers. You have to invest time out of your schedule to inform them how things work in your house hold because at their house they walked around naked or shit with the door open (play on different societal norms or religions) and may even have to alter your rules as not to impose and anger them. Know the house is over filled and they expect you to buy a bigger house (play on the welfare state)I mean I can go on... But people reading this can get the drift. Point is, yes i understand that people want a better life and all immgration in not necessarily evil, but you can't just let anyone come in because you feel bad. Making change based off emotions of a few is detrimental to the whole.

So, an economic migrant makes a false claim for asylum, wastes a lot of taxpayer money in court costs, and is ticked off because he does not get what he is not entitled to. From what I heard coming from other source .Also when I see them at food banks taking home more than $150.00 in groceries from just 1 food bank they goto 9 amonth .their cell phones are top of the line .Clothes and shoes brand name only .Gold jewllery ladys purses $300.00 and up .And they all have cars from 40 thousand and up . I’m always scared to get accused of shoplifting, not because I’m black but just because I take ages to look at 1 article. I can stay more then 1 hour in the store. I usually do every aisle even the ones that don’t concern me like the baby section. I just like to see what is new, what is available. \nI live in a country where shoplifting is not really an issue, so I’m used to doing what I want in the shops. I went on holiday in the US and completely forgot that I was not home. I went to target and didn’t take a basket as I was suppose to only buy 1 thing. A lot of people actually spend a lot of money, get higher education, get English language accreditation and rack up work experience just to get to Canada LEGALLY as an immigrant, where they have to start from the bottom again. Get out! Canada doesn't even take care of its own aboriginal people. No fresh water, homes for shelter, or schools. This border crossing that people are getting away with is disgusting. Getting a visa or any form of legal residence in Canada is a pain in the ass, I know because I've tried. I was gonna move up there full time from Los Angeles at one point and I spent 10 full months applying and waiting and still got denied. I wasn't even a refugee either, they make you prove what you have to contribute to the country as far as skills and education and it's very difficult to get accepted

Well, I am not going to generalize all people in the same category. There are good and bad people everywhere in the world but being first generation immigrant in Canada is really hard in every part of life. First, even you are fluent in English you will have an accent that makes big difference in your job hunting, making friends and get along with different people. Many times, I have been treated on the basis of how I look and on the basis of my accent.

Why are they even getting same rate on social assistance as every Canadian citizen when they aren't even Canadian. Nor have they even worked for it again the tax payers are on the hook for them

Let's put it another way... I was born in Canada and I had moved abroad at 30 for work and was gone for about 10 years. When I got back, it happened to be the same year our PM was waiting at the airport for the arrival of some refugees with winter coats for them and their Medicare cards, as well as housing provided for them. I had to run around for a full month trying to get my drivers license renewed since it had expired, and had to wait a full 6 months to get a probationary Medicare card, p-r-o-b-a-t-i-o-n-a-r-y....I felt outraged. I am not saying that many don't have a valid reason to flee their country, but when they know that they will receive housing and cash, of course people will flock to Canada, even if they aren't fleeing something.

I don't get it? He spent 15k on a lawyer to gain asylum in canada, why wouldn't he spend that money on becoming a us citizen? Everyone I met that went through the process to be a US citizen said that's about what it costs? I imagine it's easier here specially having kids and an already established life even if you were here illegally to begin with?

Can you show the professor to Belgium please. I prefer a Canadian over an American or a German because our racism exceeds all borders. On a daily basis I experience black racism on an unheard scale. People come to me and explain they feel totally excluded from our society even when they contribute to it by (mostly manual) hard labor and social or political engagement. For me, as a black person ive been told I should wear braids or dreadlocks whenever my hair is chemically straight. When I wear my hair naturally-winter season-I get a ton of compliments. I've also been followed by cops thinking I was an illegal Mexican immigrant because I'm really light skinned. I even had a customer speak Spanish to me a few weeks ago when he thought I was Mexican.

Canada has 10 provinces and the health care is slightly different in each province. Wait until you have lived in any country for a few years before you can talk authoritatively about it. Canada is a good country to live in so is Australia but even better are some or the northern or western countries in Europe where health care is affordable and good and food is affordable and good. The USA has more millionaires and billionaires and a lot of them are in government. Think about that. Lots of guns and judging by the news quite a few racist cops who never get punished. Think about that too. Bad water in many places; also worth thinking about. There are more lobbyists than there are legislators and they all make money; think about that and ask yourself why.

America is not all about war war war and guns just because we have a big military jeez! And not everyone here has a gun, there are some people that just don't like them for different reasons.\n If you come to a place like Texas yea just about everybody here has one I do, but there are still people even here that don't like um. I think both cultures are too severe/extreme. women covering their faces in hot summer while Canadian women stand waiting outside for taxis to go get drunk wearing skirts even hooker's wouldn't wear in the eighties. or wearing nylons as pants and that's it. where is modesty that doesn't make you almost pass out from heat exhaustion, or modesty that doesn't make you look like a hooker? where is that old saying......happy medium?

Yeah, we're not so awful... I'm American, living in Canada, and honestly, I'm here for my husband, who is Canadian. I absolutely ADORE him. The only thing that annoys me about Canada is the fact they seem to hate diabetics, anyone on a low-carb diet, or anyone who just doesn't want to eat a ton of sugar. In fact I can't get anything sugar-free in a store (simple things, like sugar free coffeemate, sugarfree cake mix) unless I pay, I'm not even lying here, TWENTY TIMES THE PRICE on Amazon, (I'm not paying $85.00 for a 10.2oz canister of coffee creamer... WTF?) That is 3.49USD in any walmart. These people have to be kidding me.

It is funny they hate western culture but they all want to come here. But when we raise our opinion on them we are races. I'm from a Hispanic background but I was born in the U.S and I do fit the stereotype for a young latina. At the age of 12, I walked into a small convenience store and was instantly kicked out and was accused of stealing a pair of ear buds. I had no bags or backpack on me and was the first time I went there in 2 weeks. It was the first time I was accused to stealing actually. Upon asking how that was possible, I was told that I grabbed the ear buds and walked to the bathroom, wrapped it in toilet paper and then walked out. I haven't even went into the bathroom. It scared me to be honest, I didn't really want to go back to that store since I was afraid the cops would get called on me. To this day, I'm a very studious, I don't wish for my personal record to be marked over racism or false accusations.

ok so muslims say they should be able to wear what they want so their women cover up. but then when you ask them about western women they say they should cover up and SHOULD NOT be able to dress the way they do. liberals who think they are being so free and open minded need to open their eyes to the religion they are trying to defend. muslims routinely abuse the freedoms that are afforded to them while living in a democratic society that hypocrisy becomes second nature to them. the women that was interviewed says we get dressed up put on fancy clothes and make up with other women, even though to do that is haram in islam and is only meant to attract men. ignorance and regression will lead to the downfall of every western country. it is simply a fact and somehow it always comes off as fear mongering when it is said, no religion should ever have a right over any society. if there was a religion where it was ok to behead people who dont believe in that religion would it be ok for people to believe it, oh wait ISLAM.

Consider how many men took part in operation Barbarossa and even operation Overlord during ww2. Or just look at the Battle of the Somme and Verdun. \n1 000 000 angry men vs 1 000 000 angry fanatics with little regard for their own lives can destroy an entire country or multiple countries within a period of a few months. Nice video, Derek. I'm gonna add something you didn't even mention. Here in the U.S., there is the Patriot Act, and a growing Police State. Our liberties and Constitutional rights are being trampled by the day. Our privacy is being lost at an alarming rate, and there are more checkpoints than ever before, tighter security measures at airports than ever before, metal detectors even at high schools for students just to attend class, and worst of all shootings of innocent people by cops (often homeless, mentally ill, etc.) than ever before. I don't know for sure, but I don't think Canada has the degree of the same problems, and if they do, they certainly aren't at the magnitude that they are happening here in the states. Those shootings are about 2,000-3,000 just in the last year!! Please be careful, especially in California, and know your U.S. Constitutional rights if/when you get stopped on the road or anywhere else.
