Canada is a beautiful place to live. But it's hard to find a job. If you don't know anyone in high places there is no promotions and it depends on your culture. I would suggest to make a life in Canada and go back to your country of birth. It's hard for housing and to own a home in Canada...Government need to do more regarding housing for low income families and single parents...

Once upon a time, a lot of people in Europe dreamed of going to the United States and living there. Today it's very hard to find someone like that. The United States has fallen very low and is now like a junction of hell and a landfill. America made one mistake: it chose the invisible hand of the market. Europe for the free market with the addition of state intervention. As a result, people in the USA are very neurotic and are constantly afraid of their tomorrow and their credits, and in socialist Europe people live safer and are simply happier. They don't have so much pressure for success. Success in Europe does not lie in great wealth, but in a comfortable and peaceful life. Canada is a bit more like Europe, so the people of Canada are maybe happier. But it is still a long way from the European Union, where governments care for the well-being of ordinary people, and not just corporations.

although the women who made this clip seem to come from a genuine place i cant believe this is how life should be in Canada. It is a real shame that this country only attracts those who are willing to suffer. I am sorry but this highly educated nation is no more than a third world country.

I am an immigrant from Korea. I have a decent life here but i find that it is getting harder especially with housing price and cost of living. I am thinking about going back but Korea is as expensive as Canada. However, I found that Korea’s health care system is much faster and more advanced. I like the nature here in Canada a lot more though.

Canada is a country of immigrants, which means people who are, in my humble opinion, mostly quite self-centered and expecting the world from others, which never happens! Canada demands a gigantic capacity to adapt, to adjust and, in a word, to change...completely! You must be totally willing to leave everything behind if you want to integrate into Canadian society and this is extremely hard to do! Moreover, most immigrants come to Canada because they expect that country to give them a life of luxury or at least a very easy life, which can be true, as compared to certain other countries where life can be hell because of corruption, poverty or mismanagement and dictatorship. Now, don't fool yourself, you will find all of this in Canada too, in a very different way, although not always that different, but you will find it to a certain extent, depending on what you are trying to do here! Canada pretends to be a free and democratic country, but if there is one thing, that you are not supposed to do in Canada without dire consequences and reactions from most Canadians, it is criticism and voicing dissent! You will face repression too! I am 67 and I have lived in this country for over 30 years and now have lots of health problems, which I would probably never have had in another country, all this because of the frigging climate here...I just hate it here! And yes, don't be cultured and...play stupid and ignorant, otherwise you will face automatic rejection and that same stupidity and ignorance! A country of many cultures...yes, but also of deep rooted prejudices and intolerance! And if there is something that never changes in Canada, it is change! They expect you to change, but they never change themselves! in a word...Canada is a country like all others, no better and often far worse!

I am amazed by the reality you presented about the Canada. Many people on youtube just boast of the high end luxury western lifestyle but nobody gives a glimpse on how much tough times he went through to achieved it. Every country has it's pros and cons. I belong to India ; and have lived in Canada for about 1.5 year. I can say that Canada is a country of oppurtunities who is willing to face every challenge thrown in front of him and get up after every failure. No country is perfect , if we keep this fact in mind, we'll be able to enjoy everyday of our life in every country

My husband immigrated with his parents. They missed their life back home and moved back after a year. Eventually they returned to Canada and maintained close ties with their homeland.

I went to Canada for a student exchange program. Before going I had that rosy image that “Canada is a heaven” that is shown in my country. But I was disillusioned in just a couple of months. canada is great country to immigrate if you come from money. and your family can comfortably bankroll your stay there. but if you are going too canada thinking you'll make money, well lets just say you will be brutalised by life there. the best time to move to canada is whn doing an undergraduate degree since you get to start from the bottom in matters of work experience and build the social networks along the years. it is sad to hear cab drivers in canada most who are immigrants were doctors, some even surgeons back in their home country

Hello, I am an Armenian and I am very much interested to live in Canada. I don't have expectation yet cause personally I am not familiar with the life there. I have been in India for a long time. To be honest I haven't finished watching your video because a point came to my mind and before I forget, decided to ask you girls here. I understand that working for a company, restaurant or a hotel is tough, especially finding one. \n1)What about if an immigrant has a kind of business skill or experience say in a fast food sector and has all that it takes to run a small fast food shop, which i think is better and more lucrative than trying to find a job elsewhere. Does the government of Canada or the Municipality of a city the immigrant is in, lend a hand in such matters?\n2) From one of YouTube videos I came to know that people living there have to pay several taxes including federal taxes, provincial taxes, unemployment Insurance Premium (UIP). I've lived here all my life. Worked here all my life. Only been out of the country for maybe 3 weeks total. I'm 66 years ago. One thing that really bothers me about canada, is that bad management seems to be almost everywhere. From the private sector to the public sector. I'm not saying everything is poorly managed, but my impression is that about 80% of it is. For example, canada has the third largest oil reserves in the world, and we import oil. I think immigrants should think about this before coming here. Do you really want to be part of a team like this? How do I get around this bad management. I work for myself.

Homogeneous societies are the way, let's face it, yes we are all humans who bleed red. However we come from different parts of the world which have different views, creeds and cultures, values morals, the problem with the west is we let every one in because we are tolerant, tolerant to people who are not tolerant of our ways. I have been living here for 28 years (that’s most of my life, I came her as a young child). My sister’s and I have experienced first hand racism due to our hijab in elementary school, high school, after 9-11 during job interviews (myself and my brothers due to their name being Muhammed). Over time things have gotten better alhumdolillah but racism exists everywhere and many have experienced it. Where there are people that use racial slurs or acts of discrimination etc, there are many more that will support you and guide you. I love Canada and wouldn’t live anywhere else but to say it’s not there and every case is dealt with the way it was dealt with our London family, is not the case. If it was, what happens with them would not have happened. May Allah help us treat one another with tolerance and love as Islam intends it to be. Once again thank you for creating videos like this to help our fellow Pakistanis.

Ashir, I like you, you talk well. I would add my opinion here you are still angry about Pakistan. Yes so much is wrong in Pakistan but again so much is wrong in Canada. And equally so much is right in Canada and we all know so so much is right in Pakistan. My advice, chose your wrongs and rights carefully and wisely.\nFor viewers a hint, listen to his advice and try to practice all he says while living in Pakistan. You have almost a head start of 3-5million pkr ( which generally is consumed before immigrating/settling in Canada). He is not talking about absolutely harsh weather…where you can not leave door without fully packed thats not 4 months or less you are talking about 8 months in canada…extreme weather, bad food, tasteless fruits and vegetables, no family support, kids living without cousins and relatives, if you want your children to be raised muslim you have to find good muslim school. Its not that easy not for everyone. Its for young people come earn save and go back. A small house in canada would cost you a million which is about 12 cror that loan you will be paying for the rest of your life. If you have a little bit of cash you would be so much better off in Pakistan. If there was a war going on in pakistan like syria palestine then yes right now it would be a stupid decision for majority of people to move here.

I lived in Canada for 15 years. Just a few comments:\n1. It is true that debt is no 1 enemy.\n2. Every place or country has its good and a bad side. How you perceive it really depends upon what you value in life the most or how you prioritize things in your life and your family's life.

Reality of Canada - Very bad weather - freezing with gusty winds with \nsnow or ice ,get ready to shovel alot of snow in winter, winter type \nweather is for 8 months, very high price of house plus other high \nexpenses which are unaffordable like on an average house price is \nmillion dollars plus other expenses makes you 12,000$ per month which \nyou will not get easily as salary, high rents also almost 1700$ for one \nbhk ,whereas on an average you can make 2000 $ /month , high car \ninsurance plus high phone plus interntet plus grocery , no taste of \nindian vegetable & indian food ,its a big problem if you are a \nvegetarian, no specific job industry & 97% warehouse jobs which pay \nlittle also 99% sardars drive truck but truck is a very hard job esp in\n winter ,very hard to get good paying jobs & other jobs fon't pay \nthat much only illiterate people can do , no social life ,even no \npersonal life as women become very weird after coming to canada & \nlots of divorces happens in indian people after coming to canada, people\n of canada are very dead & shows no emotions like indians are . when\n kids grow up they have no feelings fo rtheir parents in canada as they \ndon't know what is indian culture , super worst medical system with 20 \nhours waiting in emergency plus doctors will never give you any medicine\n due to legal fear also you will never get timely treatment or even a \nmedicine like india, also specialist doctor appointments will take 6 \nmonths in canada while you can see specialist doctor daily if you want \nin india , dental & eye is private but very costly only if you have \nwork insurance, no servants or maids like india so you have to all jobs \nlike cleaning house, cooking, laundry ,dishwashing by yourself even if \nyou are coming from 8 hour job which is very tiring , canada is only \nheaven for punjabis for others they have to be very careful

There are two types of peoples, one who live their live happily without any struggle in any country like canada, sweden, or england and other are those who does something for other. They have tough lives but they still do something for other and they get peace not happiness. \nSo, Sir Decide by yourself either you want happiness or peace? Watched a lot of your videos. One thing which have bothered me is that you always have some objection or problem with the Pakistani System which you experienced and yet you chose to RUN away from it, instead of fighting. I believe that Canada win in quality of life but USA win in economy.

I do not mean to be negative here but anyone of you who is well settled outside Canada, don't come to Canada!, unless you want to do labor work. I know people who have done Masters in Software engineering are working in a Pizza shops. If there is one job opening there are 10 thousand applicants for the same job. Companies showing fake jobs to satisfy govt. pressures. Automated refusals replies of your job applications are common.\n People get hired on sources and within companies. Racism exists, results are killings every now and then. Go and watch news channels like CP24. Thieves are here. Things do get stolen. Recently mass graves are found near schools in multiple areas of small children of indigenous people who were tortured and killed by white supremacy in the past. Recently a whole family is killed by a maniac. No capital punishments so killers, rapists walks free after 10-15 years tops.\n\nAshir sahib is being a little dramatic. I guess the agony of Pakistani bureaucracy has influenced him so negatively that in his mind he is comparing Pakistani life with Canadian life. He himself was driving truck initially. may be now a days retired or staying home or may have sufficient funds. But don't get too excited with his kind words. He is only showing the good side of Canada in some sort of excitement. \nThe bitter truth is that unemployment rate is too high here. Govt hides the truth. They couldn't even handle the pandemic properly. Alcohol is cheap marihuana (Hashish, Charas) is legal now. Every 3rd person is smoking weed. Drunk drivers kills innocents on roads often. Every region have different rules and regulations and policies. I moved to Niagara region and they charged me $200 deposit for water $200 deposit for hydro plus monthly bills separate. $1800 to $2000 is the rent of one bed apartment. Burlington where he lives has $2800 to $3000 rent monthly for a house. Go check online! Price of buying a home is in millions of dollars. Go check real estate.

We living around the world for me happiness not important but most important as Muslims I want and I have wish my child don't forget and don't turn his life from Islam and I think you can't control your child from independent life of Canada if you do it there will be war with your kids I Love Pakistan even I don't have home,car,facilities.
