They take it out of your pay or it’s only about 3000.00 to have a child.\nIn Canada, we pay NOTHING. No deductions from pay checks, no extra for medications in hospitals, no underlying charge for illness or childbirth. NOTHING!! Visit visa yo right and correct thou there other channels, you could enroll for a short course at any college or university, after you can b legit to apply for a work permit.. We have a nickname for Canadians that spend the winter months down in the States. We call them Snowbirds. These are mostly people who are retired and just want to spend the coldest months in Canada to a place like Arizona or Florida where the winters are more like spring time for us north of the 49th parallel.

A lot of Canadians who do move to the US, do so for career development and advancement. My cousin moved to the US and works in IT. He makes like, 5x what he could staying in Canada. He, with his family, is staying and never plans to come back.\nAdditionally, I think the thing that Canadians appreciate about our health care is that we don't have to think abut it. We don't have to assume that giving birth or going to the doctor will cost and that the cost may have some variability. It jut makes it way less stressful, as health scares are stressful enough as they are. But it is true that availability is an issue. I'd say our quality of care isn't too far behind, but I'm not particularly knowledgeable on that.

Yes Canada is better for care but at my hospital you can wait 12 to 15 hour on the emergency waiting room. Montreal same, Québec same. Thats why you are call a patient, because you need it to wait.

Education is much in Canada. Just because they don’t force kids to cram doesn’t mean their education is not good. The syllabus and curriculum is the same and even better…. In the end the graduate of 12th grade from Canada will be much better and qualified than a 12th graduate from India.

Have you seen the ones (refugees) being bussed around New York and other US states? If you come in the right way (to any Western country, Canada or otherwise) your assimilation will be much smoother. Moving to a new country (or even city for that matter) is always riddled with challenges, not just financial, also social, technological etc. As an East African immigrant to Canada, I meet a lot of newer immigrants with over ambitious and dreamy expectations, most having entered the wrong way!

Born and raised in Toronto and now live north of the city, I would move even further out if I could. Going into the city is on a only if and must go situation. But I am going to be totaly honest give the state of the country as i whole (or hole...you choose) I would leave Canada altogether.
