I am probably one of the more lucky immigrants as my parents were able to get a greencard sponsorship by their employer and a regular h1 visa, so that we could relocate to america. I was only 5 when I got my citizenship, but I can't imagine how much more difficult the process would be nowadays

But since march 28th 2023 we have not heard from IRCC whether approved or rejected. And school has even withdrawn the admission on 1st of August. We filled one form we found in their page to know the application status. They replied is in the queue. Is there anything we can do.

Yes, it could happen. We are a multi racial black/brown/Euro decent family in Canada. There are giant pot holes in the Canadian health care system for us as we are often not believed or assumed to be drunks or drug-heads. We know similar families who HAD to take work in America (with benefits) FOR the health care, the doctors were less likely to gatekeeper care when it was paid for. Also those who moved to New Jersey, Missouri, Wisconsin found much more racially inclusive communities (seemingly largely due to just a bigger population of different people so no one really sticks out)

I absolutely agree. Australia is one of the best countries to live with a work-life balance. They have yet to talk about 10% super contribution which was made to their retirement fund. There are heaps of vegetarian, kosher, halal options. People are super friendly and very humble and polite. It is heartbreaking to hear this. In emergency it depends what is happened to you. Australia has the highest labour wage in OECD I think now at $24 + super. Reigonal areas like Canberra, TASMANIA etc they are not to bad.

I moved to Germany mostly bc I didnt need a visa, although before moving I looked at all the options, and the US is one of the hardest, if not THE hardest western country to move to.

Health insurance in the US is crazy. Medical issues are the number one reason for personal bankruptcy in the US. One illness, and an insurer who finds some bs reason to deny my claim and I could lose everything. Can't figure out why the US doesn't have socialized medicine. It's the only major western democracy that doesn't.

When I travelled there to check on my husband’s rental properties (yes, he is a Canadian who owns properties in the U.S.) I was always surprised at our employees, tenants, who treated us as second class citizens, as “CrazyCanucks”, and mostly, incredulous that we could actually legally own American companies….and yes, we paid all taxes due. \nThe U.S. is a beautiful country but, unfortunately, all too often, there is a superiority attitude that permeates every exchange…a we (Americans), vs them (Canadians) approach. As with many other Canadians we knew who had businesses in the U.S., our experience as Canadians doing business in the U.S., was also theirs. \nI will end by acknowledging that I know many beautiful & amazing Americans that I have come to love and immensely respect. I have travelled to the States for work and occasional vacations but there is no possible chance that I would leave Canada to take up residence there. My vacations are now taken in Canada only. One of the most beautiful countries one will ever see.

One minor nitpick - please make it more clear when you're using Canadian vs American dollars, as the American dollar is worth ~30% more than the Canadian dollar. (When you're comparing wages and house prices, for example.)
