Where I live (Asian community) cars parked with Asian wardens waving the others by and creating traffic chaos, blocked un passable walk ways and pavements it breaks all the rules we were fined for, but a new norm without question in this community. Its isolating and disorientating but hey, its the new way. I think India has a lot to offer the world . And we have had a lot of it arrive , too much, according to many. This without anyone asking, discussing, debating, informing, admitting to the native populous. Its polite if nothing else, to respect the customs and the hosts of the place u arrive. Reality — these migrants bring their whole culture, family, friend group, political beliefs, problems and traditions with them. But why do they allow so many people of one nationality to enter into the country?? Apparently, it couldn't be because they help to build up the country, because many natives are complaining.. And based on one of the complaints is that they are not interested in conforming to the Canadian culture.. According to the news we broke 40 Million residents in Canada in the new year. They just announced that the Canadian population is already at 41 million as of last week. How can we absorb this many people. I would say the majority are from India. A lot of these new residents are amazing. But hear me out......For more than 70 years Canada has accepted diverse immigrants from around the world. These immigrants have always had challenges with acceptance and integration as they bought homes and had families and raised children to be Canadians. But these immigrants are economic migrants. They don't want to be Canadians like they used to. They want the PR, and the citizenship. But they want to work and move all that money out of Canada back to India. Then when they retire, they themselves will dump all their Canadian assets and move to India where cost of living and home ownership is exceedingly less expensive. Even their federal government pension plan money will move out of the country. I'll be totally truthful...MY perception of these economic migrants is that THEY HATE US. In India they are educated, come from Middle class and upper middleclass families. They want the PR and Citizenship so they can eventually pull their entire family from India over to Canada. But they have to Work at Burger king or Tim Hortons when they arrive. And the HATE and resent Canadians for it. \n Canada allows people to keep their foreign passports and citizenship. There are 300,000 people with Canadian citizenship living in Hong Kong, There are 450,000 people with Canadian citizenship living in Lebanon with a War about to expand across the border. I am Canadian and I work in an area with a lot of foreign student labour. This is an accurate summary of the situation. I have some college education, and I noticed many Indian students are going to private colleges a distance away. I believe the colleges aren't properly vetting these students in order to allow more in and collect more money from them. International students pay more to go to school in Canada. These young people unfamiliar with a western education system don't understand things aren't being done properly, but the bad reputation of these schools gets around and these students credentials are worthless. It's sad considering families frequently go into debt to send their kids to Canada. Mass Immigration is ruining housing in Canada because not enough building happend to house the sudden population increase. Canadians access to services such as health care is hindered by the population iincrease. Something as simple as the common language spoken in the country has changed. It is true if the goverment changes the people in the country the goverment has changed the country.

Immigration needs to speed up the process for Foreign Permanent Residents and bring these people quickly to work and pay taxes and maintain their Families here. Many people are waiting for their partner for financial support and development for their families.

Take this from a Canadian. Don't come here. We are full. I'll be voting to end every single pathway to Permanent residency. That includes voting to lower foreign student visa's to almost zero. Everything is fragile you know. When you allow certain foreigners in a country and teach them to adapt to the culture, they get the best of living in a developed country by following their own personal beliefs. On the other hand, if you allow a huge amount of population at the same time from 3rd world countries, they become the majority, start doing politics, they don't adapt to new things, ultimately they will come up with extreme religious beliefs, their old culture, corruption, greed and can ultimately drag it down to a 2nd world country! Every country has more or less potential, the reason behind being so poor is connected to many reasons but at least 50% is because of corruption, their way of thinking, thus, mass immigration can never be a solution! Developed countries' leaders do not care about any people, they want people to keep their country's position economically high and now distracting the young generation with transgender issues with the name of so-called freedom. Maybe Western people now should start working on their life rather than taking everything for granted, maybe changing gender is not to be proud of or the only way to get attention but rather do something for your country, work, be involved in politics, be aware of life, travel with purpose, stop worshipping celebrities and understand the consequences of life in every step and you can be replaced by anywhere anytime!

Logistics companies are the main issue as Sask is a problem maker as well issuing zero license for temp foreign farm workers just after the Humboldt crash. As a Canadian citizen, I see that there are 3 major issues at play in this problem - \n\n1) Canadian colleges are starved off funds and do not have a sufficient, stable source of revenue. Hence they seek to attract international students who pay (at least) 4X the fee a Canadian citizen would pay. According to mainstream media such as The Globe and Mail, National Post and others, International students contribute some where between $15 to $18 billion per year in revenue to Canada. This is huge!\n\nSince this is a lucrative revenue stream for them, they have gone overboard and are providing strong financial incentives to education / immigration consultants to bring more international students here. Consequently, many existing as well as new colleges are encashing on this trend and diploma mills have mushroomed in Canada lately. This is ABSOLUTELY Canada’s fault and the accountability of fixing this lies with Canada alone.\n\n2. International students who come here often end up taking humongous debt or selling off their homes/ancestral property to be able to afford their education and hence they feel cheated when the dream they were sold doesn’t match the reality. \n\nHaving said that, International students do need to understand that they are here or a temporary visa and DO NOT get to dictate terms to Canada. It is Canada’s sole prerogative to extend their work visa or not, depending upon Canadians requirements.\n\n3. The Trudeau Liberal government benefits by giving these students extended work permits and a pathway to citizenship as it translates into votes for them. However this is an atrocious approach to winning elections and puts unnecessary pressure on the system. \n\nCanada needs to streamline this whole student visa process and take stringent action against these fake diploma mills, education and immigration consultants luring foreign students. For me it was not the cost of living, because I could easily afford it. The city has changed too much, there are too many immigrants now, there is too much crime, too much homelessness. When you start to feel like a foreigner in your own country and the place becomes unrecognizable, then perhaps it's time to consider other options. So like you I looked at my foreign options and it was the best move I'd ever made. For talented, well educated people, who have the courage to move to another country, this could be the best move you ever make, with all kinds of unexpected benefits which await you.

Canada is a wonderful country for me and my family. I don't know any other country that would be so loyal to foreigners. Perhaps it was easier for me to adapt here, because we are from a European country where Christianity is widespread. We love Canada and embrace its traditions. Winter sports are great entertainment for children and adults. We also celebrate Halloween, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas, Valentine's Day, Canada Day and more. My children quickly adapted to school and I am happy that they like it! The people here are wonderful and friendly, always willing to help. There are so many possibilities! Why do we have such different impressions about this country?

Real estate agents are the biggest culprits in the rise of prices. I’ve been there several times as telling me my house is worth hundreds of thousands more or we can say exaggerated by 30% or more then my house is on the market for a year which is nota big deal for an agent they have 40 other listings and access to more moneymakers , I’ve sold my last 2 homes personally within days or weeks which were reasonably priced not overpriced this made everyone happy . I feel bad for many of the India people coming to Canada.\n \nThere is no clear solution if the governments don't start controlling the numbers of foreign students to be enrolled and same with the schools for hurting not just the people of the cities their in but also their own staff tend to struggle because of the lack of housing.\n\nIn my line of work, almost every single one of them should not have been on the phone for technical support, not because of a lack of education but a lack of speaking English clearly. Some of them or should I say a lot of them were promoted to supervisors. Canada’s statistics are no different than Australia, USA and France for example in terms of homelessness and home ownership. South Asian Indians are fourth generation Canadians and are educated, successful and have assimilated with the European culture. The french lady should see Montreal, it is cool to see Indians, Chinese speaking French. Do you ask why there are too many Chinese in Chinatown? the fact they don't adapt to the culture is the problem they come here and expect us to cater to them. this is especially apparent in richmond, bc where there is so many chinese that a lot of signage and businesses are exclusively mandarin, meaning a lot of jobs require you to speak a foreign language taking jobs away from canadians

So basically the differences are minor. No wonder many foreigners think of Canada as US 2.0. Because if you need to differentiate Italy from Austria, the difference is obvious: different language, different culture, different architecture, different traditions. You won’t see that in US and Canada. And no one cares what forms of government these countries have. That’s not what makes you a distinct nation. I live in India, and I can confirm that majority of the youngters here want to migrate to a foreign country. Even I went to Dubai to work, but came back and pretty much settled here. Many people resign their jobs and migrate. I really don't understand. Looks like it is a trend which will change in future.

Way way way too many foreigners moving there, outrageous foreign investment in residential properties, and a brain dead electorate who constantly votes in the same garbage over and over again. no true protection for personal rights and freedoms, no ability to recall bad politicians. Truth! The majority of Indian students came to work and not study. Why? Many had borrowed money to come or had their parents borrow large amounts of money because of the financial pressures. Many became Uber drivers adn working more than the 20 hr limit per week under the table. What is Canada going to do with one million foreign students. If you actually did study and graduate then you have a good education to go home with. You people think that you can come here, not follow the rules and now you want to change the rules just to suit you.

Canadian companies are the problem as well. They pretend they can't find Canadians to work (been experiencing this since 1976) and then hire temporary foreign workers, and the illegal immigrants. The Canadian business owners then get Canadian government grants and subsidies from 50% to 70% to cover the temporary workers wages and more than likely when they hire illegal immigrants as well, along with kick backs for providing housing. Canadian companies also pay those workers under the table, especially in the hospitality industry, and lay off Canadians and keep the temporary foreign workers and pay them under the table. Now if the Canadian government would offer grants and subsidies when Canadian companies hire Canadians, more Canadians would have full time jobs with livable wages. The Canadian government has to stop allowing foreign entities from buying Canadian businesses as they only have to hire 1 Canadian. After that the foreign entities who bought Canadian businesses are allowed to bring in as many of their workers as they want. That has to be stopped as well.

Lots of canadians are suffering because of the housing shortage. Theres nothing wrong with foreign students, but when its too many its too many.

On the other hand, many foreign women from North Korea, China, Russia, Iraq, Iran, Syria, Cuba, Turkmenistan, Belarus, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan and Myanmar happy to come and move here.

Too many foreign people in Brampton. The European should return to well Europe.

If the white Canadians would have kids, then they wouldn't have to import so many foreigners! My good buddy here in the US is married to an Indian woman and they have 2 very intelligent children. This is in the US though...

Mr Harrison ,bitter Harrison u complained too much,,u didn't talk about the money the international students are bringing to the Canadian economy ,just because there was a cap on study visa for international students, many schools colleges and universities have started complaining,.............Personally I see nothing fantastic about Canada,many that have gone there were disappointed,Harrison if u don't want foreigners in Canada...........Protest to ur government and remain in Canada,don't visit any other country
