Never invest your hard earned money in Canada!!!

Thanks for keeping us updated! I feel sympathy and empathy for our country. low income people are suffering to survive, and I appreciate Victoria Anne Leonard. You've helped my family with your advice. imagine investing $30,000 and receiving $95,460 after 28 days of trading.

Who wants to invest in rental units? This should bring down the price of homes as it frees up units.

If America only bully and exploit, China must do more to invest in South America since illegal immigrants are the result of poverty, economic coercion and sanctions.

Need more Indians , invest some call centers in North America, teach people how to make easy money and Indian food ?

First India should stop penalizing economic activity with investment restrictions, customs duties and complex gst system and over regulation from the government. So Indians can have jobs

My greatest happiness? is the over 50,000rs 24 hours profit I get consistently from my 2 lahks investment despite the economic fluctuation.

There is no money in visa free countries for Indian’s they are not going on holidays to Europe they are going to work illegally and behave as a 3rd world citizen…Rich Indian are who are on holidays or business they get visa for long periods. They will spend or invest. Sorry to say That’s the fact
2025-01-17 0
This is the result of spending so much money by our beloved PM in travelling abroad. No investment no VISA.
2025-01-16 0
Ethics and civil behavior is needed in India itself. If people travelling in planes with a bit of money start to think they can get away with any kind of sh** then sorry but this is bound to happen.\n\nI saw behavior of some while travelling to Malaysia how some of them were just demanding business class upgrades because they had a child. Another who just sat in one seat thinking he can get away with it and gets into an argument with the stewardess. Pathetic behaviour really. It is sad we did not invest much either in our families own and in schools to correct this. We should learn how to behave in public by the Japanese. They are the gold standard.

I actually love this indian talent should stay in India and contribute for our country. Someone will say well pay is not good here there are no jobs here yes but rich indians should open their own companies here and be the job creators and yes government also needs to pay initiatives to these rich people so that they invest in India.

Can one use an investment account like mutual fund account?
2025-01-16 0
enough going abroad to make other countries great..its time to get things right here in our home.. just what we need is some political wisdom to reduce red tapes and part of the capital investment for start ups from the govt (like what china has done)..

Why do the Indians travel to take other people's jobs when they have such needs in their own home country? Non-tech labor jobs in India are needed greatly. Seeing travel videos of India the people and their government should invest in itself with its own people. For a better and stronger India to prosper.
2025-01-16 0
India always invested in Hindu muslim things . These r the side effect comin now.
2025-01-15 0
because you got your citizenship, made your investments, earned enough money to travel around the world without having to worry about shaving your beard for a visa interview ever. and all thanks to the secular establishment of canada and the credibility of the canadian passport.

Fact that 40k a year for an apartment in canada is insane. these new homeowners who use housing as a quick investment scheme are the real scammers.
2025-01-10 0
The problem IMHO is that the government stopped investing in the people. Both Liberals and Conservatives support business against the people. This is ruining Canada.

HAVE THE NERVE TO COMPLAIN ABOUT BROWN IMMIGRANTS IN BRAMPTON OR ANYWHERE ELSE IN CANADA ???\n\nIf not for those NOT WHITE immigrants coming to Canada, Brampton would be like any other little city in Canada and would have diminished in population . The Whites alone couldn’t have provided enough of tax revenue to build infrastructure or maintain social programs.\nDue to projected low birth rates, The politicians did a quick fix to increase tax revenue. They offered IMMIGRATION to get working young families who already had education, skills and professions without investing a penny or offering help. Those Immigrants have to pay couple of thousand dollars to apply for immigration and have to prove that they have enough money until they find jobs.. They can’t claim welfare for few years either. By choice many Europeans don’t want to come to Canada. If not for those immigrants who work the aging population couldn’t have got pension.\n\nMUST ABSORB WHITE CANADIAN CULTURE ? English, German, Polish,Austrian, French , Spanish, Russian, Irish, Scottish, Greek, Italian, Turkish. ……..? WHICH ONE ?\nWhen Whites went to Anywhere. In Asia, Africa, Middle East , America, Canada and Australia did they absorb those cultures?\nDid they even ask for permission or get visas ?\nDid they not kill , massacre , rape ,torture and abused natives of those continents?\nDidn’t. The whites rob Or took by force all types of valuables, National treasures of those countries ?\nDidn’t the Whites forced their culture and religions to the Natives and punished them if they wouldn’t ?\n\nLook at Brampton now ! Look at those immigrant children ! Majority of them are university educated and hard working and paying taxes so all of us can live well. If the majority in a city is not like us, then we should learn their culture ?\nI look at the diversity and ENJOY AND feel the pride of a Canadian.\nITS NOT WHO WE ARE AND WHEN WE CAME BUT WHAT WE DO TO CONTRIBUTE TO OUR CANADA

Landlord board is the main problem. If government failed the housing issue then it is not landlord’s problem. Landlord did not get free money, they worked hard to save & invest. Their investment will be at stake if this liberal policy continue. Just remember no landlord open Mother Theresa corporation.

Not just Canada but a lot of the West, European countries and the US all having problems. I don’t get why they don’t invest in their own communities and help eachother fix the issues in their own country.

You do not compete with China by becoming India, you do it by investing in your people
2024-12-31 0
The Canadian Government doesn’t care. Most Canadian politicians are home owners and have investments in the Canadian housing market. They don’t care because they have already obtained their own housing security. Why would they want to fix the market that they are comfortably secured into. They don’t feel the pressure that most Canadians do. The middle class no longer exists we are all struggling to get ahead.

As an Algerian registered nurse planning to immigrate to Canada, I'm disappointed with the immigration system. Many skilled professionals like us invest years in education and training, only to face a system that prioritizes quantity over quality. While we aim to contribute meaningfully, we're left hanging, unfairly blamed for issues like housing and cost of living. The misleading ads only add to the frustration.\n\nI hope Canada resolves the immigration and housing crises—not just for future immigrants like me, but because Canadians deserve the best. Sending love to a beautiful country! ??❤️??

Never invest in tenant-friendly provinces. Best bet is Alberta or the United States

It’s just aggravating how unjust is the justice system in Canada. She has the Audacity to go on TV nicely dressed and makeup and lashes done but she refuse to give this man his rent to pay Thé mortgage..if this laws won’t change all this real estate investments will go to the states.

Housing shouldn’t be an investment

Stupid system!!!! I can never understand this not paying rent? Landlords worked their life and saved their money to retire invested on a condo to get income while retired!! AND GUESS WHAT STUPID PEOPLE LIKE THESE IDIOTS doesn’t pay and live their life!! Whichever is the reason its not acceptable!!! 4 years of not paying rent?? Why cant they evict the tenant? What is the reason? NO REASON CANADA’S SYSTEM WHO WORKS FOR PEOPLE WHO DOESNT WORK!
2024-12-22 0
Once Indians invade a country, they drain it to the core, they never invest in their host country!.They keep sending the money to their country curtailing circulation leave alone underpaying their workers...very selfish lot
2024-12-21 0
Why are housing prices so high, when you can just not pay rent and live rent free without eviction? Seems like I wouldn’t want to invest in the real estate market if people can do this easily.

So in short, trust nothing the trump administration says and prepare for the world to burn. \n\nCanada should strongly consider investing in nuclear deterrents. Maybe not for now but for the future…

If Canada has strong border security and inspect all those shipping containers it would eliminate 95% of stolen vehicles which has become a massive criminal enterprise in Canada that has led to death, massive insurance increases and rampant crime. Canadians can thank Trump strength for pushing Canada to do the right thing. I can't wait for Pierre to clean house, eliminate waste and fraud, invest in Canada's incredible naturals riches and build a strong Canada that becomes an economic powerhouse. You want respect you need to earn it. Anyone who votes for either the NDP or Liberals in any election is voting for the Death of Canada.

No, we're not a foreign investment get rich quich scheme. You should have never had the right to buy a house here in the first place

I’ve held my tongue on this long enough, but the writing’s on the wall — Canada is cooked.\n\nOur finance minister calls it a “vibecession”, as if we’re imagining the economy sputtering. But here’s the reality: GDP growth at 0.1%, per capita GDP down 0.5%, and youth unemployment at 13.5%.\n\nThere’s the recent bait-and-switch $250 stimulus cheque — an ill-disguised vote buying grift. It was scrapped when the government realized it would add $4.6 billion to an already projected $60 billion deficit. \n\nThrow in a two-month sales tax holiday announced without thinking about the logistics, leaving businesses scrambling. Some aren’t even participating because it’s not worth the headache.\n\nHousing starts are at a 10-year low, the housing accelerator fund has delivered zero new homes, housing prices have left wage growth in the dust, and immigration has blown past what our infrastructure can handle. \n\nMeanwhile, the CBSA isn’t bothering to track expired international student visas. After all, someone has to keep the for-profit diploma mills thriving and the service industry fully staffed.\n\nCanada Post is falling apart under strikes, crippling small businesses, and 47% of job growth in the last five years has come from the public sector while our capital markets and innovation stagnate. \n\nThe $CAD is currently plummeting against the $USD, as the Bank of Canada scrambles to firefight the government’s incompetence with two jumbo 0.5% interest rate cuts.\n\nAnd let’s not ignore the trade war brewing with our historical ally, the U.S.. Trump has made it clear he’ll punish our abysmal border policies, which have allowed fentanyl to flood into America unchecked, with a 25% tariff on Canadian exports.\n\nIf you’re trying to get ahead — building jobs, working for yourself, pooling capital to invest, why bother?— the proposed 66% capital gains inclusion rate over $250,000 punishes you for taking risks and succeeding.\n\nAsk yourself: are you happy with the state of Canada right now? Honestly. Because it doesn’t feel like the same country I grew up in, went to school in, worked in, served in, and built a business in.\n\nI’m done. For once in my life, I don’t want to be Canadian anymore.

Housing is not a risk free investment! Many amateur investors have believed real estate is free money with no downside. Don't be fooled

there's zero benefits in moving to Canada. it is a country that is set to debt trap you for the rest of your life once you settled. they invent new tax laws every year to cheat you from your hard work earnings, no one can build a life here in Canada, this is also precisely why there is no known technology or industry developed in Canada. So called top brand in Canada, TD, was just sued and under multiple legal litigations such as AML (anti money laundering) and NSF class action lawsuit. TD by itself is only $132 billion CAD market cap vs a comparable JP Morgan Bank (US) $675 billion USD = $979 billion CAD, more than 7x the size of TD. wonder why there are very few US bank operating in Canada? cause they know better! There are no investor who are foolish enough to invest in Canada, all the tax laws are created to soak wealth from those who didn't know better. Even Canadians are leaving Canada. don't even mention the non-existing military, so really, where did the country spent all the tax dollars?

I really enjoyed watching your presentation. As an immigrant myself, I can relate to the challenges many newcomers face. While I sympathize with their situation, I also strongly believe that those coming into the country should be thoroughly vetted. One important point you may have overlooked is the growing lack of confidence in the government's ability to perform effectively. This erosion of trust is leading to a decline in domestic investment, with many of our own citizens seeking opportunities abroad. Additionally, external investment is dropping significantly.

The majority are scammers and thieves. They come to Canada and gobble all the jobs in Restaurants, gas stations, Tims, Burger King, McDonalds, Wendys, Pizza Pizza, general labour factory, ttc jobs, cleaner jobs, even the average Canadian born in Canada is not able to find anymore jobs because of them. They'r really stealing jobs making money and never investing it here but sending it back home to india. Send them all back to their shithole india crap

Is Montreal's housing cost up 40% because of scarcity, or could some/ more of it be because of financial companies and investment companies buying up a much real estate that they can and setting prices high for records profits? Need to research the increases to see where the burden is coming from, so we don't set blame where blame is not due.

I’m an international student, from my perspective it seems like the government can’t keep themselves from messing with the economy, basically crippling it by regulations, making the market unable to take advantage of the increased labor supply.\n\nI have spent almost half a million in Canada, which includes tuition, living cost, and starting a business which now employs two Canadians. But because I spent one term as a part time student, I have became ineligible for PGWP, which means I have no way of staying in Canada through my own agencies.\n\nThat is a slap in the face for immigrants whove come here to settle, the fact that I have positively contributed to the Canadian economy than many Canadians ever have, while withdrawing absolutely zero from public benefits, now if I buy a house here yall will drop on me a 50%+ capital gains tax and then kick me out, why would anyone want to invest in Canada? I’m seriously considering just moving to Florida because of all these. \n\nWhat happened to the good old days when you can come here with nothing, integrate into the community, and then become Canadians? Almost none of the forefathers of Canadians had to contribute this much into the society first to become Canadians, they stayed because their peers wanted them to stay, and the market was free to adjust to the labor supply and housing demand without government interference.\n\nWhat I see is not an immigration problem, it’s a big government problem, Canadians have become addicted to the government making decisions for them. The government has its grip on every aspect of Canadian life, it has hindered the responsiveness of the economy so much, that it cant even pivot to take advantage of free capital (int’l students) and third world labor rates (temp foreign workers).

most of the record prices is in part due to corporation realestate and chinese oligarchy realestate buying. Corporation based on business methods of profit. Investment properties but no one living in these places.

I do think it's worth pointing out that the cheap labour reduces incentives for companies to invest in increasing productivity. I think the high real estate costs might be a problem too - too much of Canada's available capital is going towards expanding housing supply and not enough on better technology - software, equipment, etc. I think part of the stagnant productivity has been due to lack of investment in technology, rather than laziness of workers. It's also worth pointing out that a lot of the workforce has been in government, which has been spending more and more money while not having much to show for it, so productivity in the government is another issue too. Bureaucracy and red tape can also be detrimental to productivity in both governments and the private sector. Maybe Canada needs more competitiveness (ex with telecommunications). Lack of training could be an other obstacle to productivity, or for example... not speaking English properly. Sometimes when I get customer service with an Indian, I have to make him repeat 5 times because of his extremely thick accent. He might not be lazy and trying his best, but still not very productive. \n\nWith slavery in the US, the South has been rather inefficient with their labour because slaves were relatively cheap (still had to feed and house them). With the end of slavery, came a big increase in worker productivity.\nhttps://www.nber.org/system/files/working_papers/w31758/w31758.pdf
