I was today speaking with the eligibility process to Canada. Was perfect scoring and super high scoring in everything, from being great great granddaughter of an ingenious individual they forced into re-educational school, speak fluent English and some basic French, to would be moving as a social work graduate with prior HND in Accounting, under 30 etc. Got moved onto process until I mentioned I was autistic, a, guy had adactiy to ask if it is severe or mild (my replay was oh im a spicy garlic herb which he did not like before correcting there is not such a thing), and b) inform me I am not permitted in spite being high functional applying unless I get a government job and they sponser me.... I was applying after being informed Canada got rid of this discriminatory policy because my dream was always Canada or New Zealand

Due to the barbarian russian invasion my family & I fled the horrific situation in Kharkiv city. I was driving a mini bus of 4 families! Most are children. We’ve arrived to Europe. Crossing many countries (Poland, Czechia & Austria) we’ve arrived to the country leading the EU. In Poland & Czechia, we’re treat very good by the people. In Austria we got hardly a payed hotel where children could get a rest!!! We still didn’t understand why they don’t want to give us rooms despite we’re paying for our staying!!! In Germany, I believe that the government did its best. But the number of comers is huge! Of course many they got disappointed as happened with me! But I still understand and believe that really the government & people did theirs best. So fast I got a job! The social connection helped to introduce me to the company! But i was not hired, I still to express myself & my qualifications. The manager was understanding, so he accepted to communicate in English and to offer me the job in case if I am successful doing the job during the first week at the site. I had to change the machines menu into English. So the manager was very satisfied with my job and I got that job. The rent! You’ll get it only if you receive the blessing of each member of the county and a very strong social connections! The doctors! To make just a blood work for my son it took 45 days of waiting! To get the doctor appointment, you need that a German guy call and get you the appointment! Because when my wife called, the secretary said: we don’t speak English! But when my wife went for her visit she figured out they’re speaking English better than her!!! My son has an issue of hyperactivity, so they refused to accept him at school more than 3 hours a day! And he was excluded from the birthday parties of his colleagues aswell other events! Other Ukrainian children, they were just attending classes! Just a show! No body cares how help their integration! About, the taxes! The half of my income was going to the government! The money back?! Only 200 euros/ month for my kid. And nothing else. Nothing! To get a neurologist appointment for my son it was necessary to wait 3 months! Prices?! Everything expensive! Technology?! Not better than Canada at all. Bureaucracy, Canada is much less. So I think Canada is ranked 3rd best in the world to live in (I might be wrong but it's top 5 for sure). Your speaking about nothing to do in Canada, Health care concerns, high taxes or cost of living and other things (honestly your video was just hurting my head listing to). While Canada does have issues (like any other country in the world) What you outline highlights the privileged life you are living. You are correct in pointing out that the health care system is flawed, it is not perfect by all means but AT LEAST YOU ARE GETTING HEALTH CARE. Take the stats for example (I had the privilege of going to the hospital in Texas) My bill came to 3000 for a twisted ankle. They charged me over 500 dollars just for walking into the hospital. I'm not knocking that stats, but if you do not have money, you're fucked for health care. Instead of waiting 8 hours to see a doctor, you're now on Web MD trying to diagnose yourself. You are bitching about high taxes, how do you think Schools, Police and fire services, Emergency service hospitals etc etc etc get paid? through wishes and hope? You are again welcome to go anywhere else and enjoy whatever bs they have going they might have low taxes in other parts of the world but your going to have to pay for certain services you are taking for granted here. As Cost of living, if you live in Toronto or BC yes the cost of living is high, but at the same time, the average household income is high as well. I'm sorry minimum wage in most of Canada is roughly 15 dollars an hour, and the average incoming for most provinces is over 100k. I'm not sure what else to say on that subject :D As for things to do, seriously, stop living under a rock. Please go and travel Canada, to name a few things you can travel to Niagara, Go to Banff, Visit hot springs or enjoy any of our national parks. Thank you ladies for those comments, to someone who is readying this today, I am an immigrant and I have lived in three continents, EU, MIddle East, USA and Canada, \n\nCanada is the best, just be smart with your financial decisions, and dont live in Van or GTA, Edmonton and Calgary for the win, yes weather sucks for 5 months but it does everywhere. \n\nUAE is great for making money, but its all fake and holo, USA is actually pretty unsafe and I felt it before I decided to move. and EU has basically the same tax situation. Great idea to speak out. However, it's the same everywhere. Its a cyclical effect, get paid, pay your bills and if there's extra you save. You need to think how to break out of that and take control of your income. When you're making money and positive impact in your community no one cares if you're black or have accent. My friend called me yesterday. He said there is something important I want to ask you, but I can't talk over the phone. Let's meet at a coffee shop. I said ok, then we met and he told me he had just met a guy who runs an English school. He asked him for 1200 CAD for the complete package, which includes English level 4 and the Canadian citizenship test. Note (my friends don't speak English), so my friend accepted and left a deposit and was told he has to attend an English school for only 15 days and he will receive a level 4 English efficiency. THAT'S UNFAIR. I HAVE SPENT HOURS LEARNING ENGLISH AND STUDYING FOR THE TEST!!!!! Anyone has an idea how to stop these people??????? Who should I contact???? I live in Ottawa.

In some cases, I was victim of racism here in Canada and this is what I just did: I speak in French instead to the aggressor; I have done that many times and usually it works; if it is like this indirect form of racism (much more frequent) where a “local” or even sometimes some Immigrants try to look down in me, I just called a friend of mine (who is usually free) and start to chat loudly in french with him!! And believe it or not, my French accent is 99% close to perfection although I do not look like a white French guy… but see… this is exactly why it is very amusing as you can barely imagine how most people act by seeing me talking in French!! Just say something like “… je reste pour une année en plus ici au Canada (make sure you say Canada to attract their attention) Et après je bouge sur Paris….”

Pretty good Adam I'd just mention a few of those things are...I don't want to say inaccurate but way more diverse. For instance French. Yes Quebec is the only French province BUT New Brunswick is the only Bilingual province and basically half and half. This is good for things like federal of provincial services because by law they must provide service in both languages but not so basically everywhere else. The problem with this is you can have an almost completely English town almost nobody speaks French and drive 15 minutes and be in a town where nobody speaks English. Research on this might be hard because a town with a French name may not have any French people in and vise versa. Also this problem is multiplied in the fact that if you Do want a French area we don't speak standard French or Quebecois but instead Le Chiac which is a difficult and confusing mix of old French and english (almost exactly like the Cajun dialect). Second part of this is that Montreal is easy to live in if you don't speak French and is so multicultural you are just apt to hear Swahili as French in public. Last part is be very careful where you move on the prairies as they have may isolated towns some that speak French also. Next is tipping I've never had to tip anyone for a haircut outside of the military and all other forms of tipping here on the east coast are purely optional and wait staff don't get upset if you don't leave a tip unless you were a jerk or left them extra work like making a big mess (I worked as cook for a while after I got out of the army and I rarely ever head staff complain) HOWEVER....tip a waitress well and she might accidentally give you 2 pieces of pie lol and tip a taxi driver well and he will not only get you the cheapest fare he will find ANYTHING you may need no questions asked. Lastly on the nice thing....we are nice for sure especially compared to our southern neighbours BUT there is a lot of passive aggressive nice that happens and this also varies greatly. For instance as a city boy of course you answered the way you did but a guy who have lived all over this country in big and small, French and English places who now has retired to a rural town I can say I find the cities quite snobby and the French and the English can be quite snobby to each other and where I live now if you asked a random stranger for 5$ chances are you would get it also driving down the road people you don't know will just wave at you as if you were the closest friends. Canada is certainly a weird place so many extremes and my advice to anyone wanting to move here is do your research and then visit and travel a bit if possible because even us Canadians can be surprised by thing or two across this gigantic country

Guys I got overall 7.5 score with L 8.5 , R 8 speaking 7.5 and writing is only 6.5..... I am applying for Canada PR is the score good or should I apply for revaluation.?? Or should I write again , I am afraid if I write again I might not get exact good marks in other sections . Pls advise

People here in the comments are upset because the guy doesn't speak english but...who said he didn't? lmao. Maybe he is speaking spanish because he's talking to a bilingual journalist and it's easier for him. I speak french, english and spanish but I will always choose spanish by default because it's my native language. It is so funny, I was working in Canada, BC for 3 years as highly paid employee, paying taxes > 200k/year and after I decided to apply to PR it took me more than a year to get PR and plenty of strange documents were requested to be provided until I hired immigration lawyer who drafted rather tough and harsh mail to IRCC on my behalf that they are violating my immigration law. Guess what? PR was approved in 2 days. On the flip side I know plenty of immigrants from Eastern Europe, China who are bringing their families with fake documents and receiving PR super easy, once settled they get income outside Canada in their country of origin (leasing an apartment for example) and of course not declaring it here, they specifically keep income at the level so they can get welfare/various reliefs from Canada and they bragging out loud how smart they are taking advantage of the system. That's not fair - there are a lot of skilled people around the world who can bring real value to Canada and behave in a good faith. If you go to Richmond, no one can speak English there, what kind of cultural integration is it? Lefts really like these guys, easy votes, eh?

I'd be really interested to see a woman in full face covering nakab/hijab asking for money, speaking out to strangers. It would be interesting to speak with them.
