What is Trump doing? This move by Trump raising the Tariffs is bad for the US people Very sad to hear what he is doing to Canada considering what Canada is trying to do to help the US. Now because of this Canada has to raise their Tariffs to survive.

What Trump seems to try to get at most is the unfair act of the USMCA. Most trades benefited Canada, while Canada refused to provide the same fair trades. Sometimes Trump does say things that may have gone off track like fentyl handling on Canada's end and border handling. It seems like our borders at the time were less strict on the American side versus the Canadian side of the border. Trump did state multiple times that most countries like Canada were unfair to USA. Even with the USMCA, America got screwed by Mexico as will. America has been there helping and supporting and submitting to every country. Yet failed to support our own people when we need it, especially to clear up our own debts. Sadly, America is falling behind due to poor handling of Government Democrat corruption. I used to think that the idea that Trump is a Russian asset was just a conspiracy theory. I am not sure of that now as how else to you explain why Trump is doing everything he can to undermine the USA? Why else would you cause a breech between the US and our allies Canada and Mexico? Why else would he destroy the infrastructure of our country through Musk and Doge? Why else would you stop all aid to Ukraine? Why would you stop cyber operations targeting Russia? Why would he set up an operation to humiliate the leader of an allied country fighting for its life against Russian aggression? Why would you send your vice president to Germany and have him insult our allies and not meet with the leadership of the country but rather meet with the essentially neo-Nazi Alternative for Germany? None of this--and many other actions--makes sense unless you begin to understand that Trump is actively trying to weaken our country to the benefit of the Russians. I know it is hard to believe but I can find no other explanation.
