I was a foreign student in Canada (35 years ago). My student visa required proof of ability to support myself. It never occurred to me that the Canadian taxpayer should support me. Apparently things have changed. A lot.

I’m muslim arab alhamudlilah but this is wrong, my opinion is sharia is the best law to be applied it doesn’t care about your feelings it cares about getting people in line, and one of the rules of sharia is respecting the laws of the people of the land you live in which these guys are apparently not following, yes there’s hypocrisy in London when they give Jews their own police and hospitals and appliance of their Jewish law but the Jews have won by grabbing every powerful persons balls in the west so they can do whatever they want unlike you being who thinks being loud is gonna get you what you want. and for westerners who are angry in the comment section about their laws being changed I say you know what it feels like now for someone else to lecture you about laws and how wrong they are, so now so stop lecturing the Middle East about changing they’re laws to something that suits your western criteria.

I was born in Canada Ontario and I can’t find a job here in midland Ontario because immigrants are apparently getting jobs with guaranteed hours and now I as a citizen of Canada can’t get a job .

Why you are always attacking the international students? We pay rent, taxes, CPP, tuition. We are the best students and most brilliant people of our own countries. We didnt come here for food, most of us come from wonderful countries with better weather beaches etc. We are here to contribute to this country as a new adventure while our intention remains returning home one day. Rest assured that many other countries offer better living conditions such as cheap university kitchen where you can eat and not worry about the meals, dorms just a few meters from classes etc. I tried one week applying in indeed and I got 6-7 job offers so there are plenty of jobs around. Look at the photos you are posting, most are from africans who came to canada illegally from mexico-us route or ocean-Quebec ships. Why dont you count millions of Ukrainian who are here taking your taxes and most of them doing nothing not even knowing English! I was very touched by the capable Sean Fraser being troubled by the situation ?. Apparently he is equally troubled by the shortage in housing and is now doing his utmost to rectify that situation. With people like him running our country we are all in good hands ??

And Trudeau had no idea the problems this would create when he increased immigration to huge numbers, right? He knew this would put many Canadians in a precarious position, he just doesn't care. The housing is something the government should have seen earlier, stepped in to start creating homes itself. It is too expensive for small companies to build or they are forced to sell what they build at a small margin or lose to regular people. Most other cases they are up against giant companies like BlackRock who use houses as investment. The hands off approach of the Liberals and Conservatives has lead us to a housing shortage. We need to build housing, and it is quite apparent that private companies too small to compete or too big to bother. The government and Canadians are going to have to solve this ourselves, and build more housing.

And there is no way that ALL SAUDIS feel this way. The minister expressed his opinion, eloquently, and it is still just his opinion, not the message of the Saudi government. Let’s see what they’re going to do, if and when Iran attacks them who is going to be their ally? It sure is not going to be Hamas, Hezbollah. The obvious way to fix all our problems is to bring in 100 million more refugees in the next year or two. Apparently Africans have built every empire the world has ever known. I left Canada in 1990 and in multiple times back visiting I saw the quality of life declining. But most there didn’t notice much like the frog in the pan of water you keep heating up. In Canada wages have actually gone down in the private sector ue to a surplus of cheap labor in the market,, while government workers wages have gone up too match inflation. The Liberals have failed in protecting the Life Liberty an pursuit of happiness of Canadians, but instead gave our jobs too immigrants so they could secure a voter base!~

60 y.o., born and raised in Canada. My wife and I left for Turkey. We had to leave because it became apparent that we would be living in poverty come retirement. In Canada, if you don't have a union job or a government job, your life will end up in a dead end like ours did. If you worry about the future, your feelings are probably justified and you should start looking for a way out as we did.

Due to the past how Palestinians refugees were allowed into neighboring Muslim countries, all hosts eventually regretted allowing them in their countries & now Palestinians are not welcomed. Apparently they clash & refuse to Assimilate with others.

Just a note, if the countries that you are considering, you have only visited as a tourist, a longer stay (maybe 6 months or so) may give you a better idea on what it actually is like.\n\nI am from (or rather, my family is, and I still have a majority of my family in) one of the countries you mentioned, and while every single thing you mention about it is true, many of the reasons you are choosing to leave Canada for is also applicable, though it may not be apparent to a visitor.\n\nPulling out and setting new roots are never easy, even if it may be the right choice. I was born in Canada and I can tell you that the Immigration policies are just scams, they only show and tell you what a person can easy achieve if that person wants (which are mostly lies) and then when someone immigrates to Canada they soon find out that it was pretty much all lies. I know someone from India that apparently has a computer engineering degree from his country, but, when he arrived in Canada and tried to find work, the government told him that his degree is not relevent in finding work, HOW DOES THAT MAKE SENSE???
