As a black woman who is born and raise in Canada, Quebec (Montréal area), I can confirm what she said. It’s not only in Edmonton, Alberta. It’s all over the country! The only difference between USA and Canada is that Americans recognize there was slavery throughout the history. Canada completely erased the slavery part as if there was no black slaves and etc.

I lived in Hawaii a number of years.Loved it! As a Black American, I was often preferred over WS.Especially from Native Hawaiians,Samoans,Tongans and Fijians.Not that they did not treat others nicely,but you can feel the acceptance and being welcome. Still planning to visit Africa,though.??Peace.

Majority of Hispanics don’t understand this is a major problem. If the population is growing in the US. Inflation will rise. Housing, food, gas etc. We need to deport as many illegals as we can because legal immigrants deserve the right in America legally. My wife, a teacher here in North Carolina and I, a hard working legal migrant worker and a tax payer were given a temporary visa to stay and work here in the US for 5 years and we need to exit this july because of the US revise law. I do not understand why the US government doesn’t want to give us visa that will allow us to stay long. In my working place, theres a lot of workers(asylum) from south america mostly from haiti and they keep on coming. The number of black haitian are more that the number of combine black and white american. I would say.. this people are lazy, loud, rude, can’t speak english well yet the US government look’s like they prefer them than us.

Come to the South. There is some racial segregation by neighborhoods (especially in the very rich and very poor), but there are tons of racially diverse neighborhoods. The most extreme examples of racial segregation are found in the North and the Coasts. Ask the average resident of Providence, RI how many black people they know or share a neighborhood with. I bet it's going to be on one hand and maybe even one digit. It doesn't surprise me that the races self-segregate up North, because that's how it's always been done. Even when the majority of immigrants were European, major American cities had Polish, Russian, German, Portuguese, and Italian neighborhoods. It's just easier to see now that we have a bunch of different skin colors represented.
