The burqa isolates women from others and can hide evidence of abuse or assault. it's not the religion.... it's the mac's convenience and the corner stores selling tropicana juice for 6 bucks a liter. If more westerners knew the truth about Islam they would reject it more vehemently. If more Muslims started thinking rationally about their belief system they would turn away from Islam. for security and safety they should make it mandatory so that every person can be identified. suppose someone wearing a mask or someone who covers there identity wants to do some evil like stab or robbery or steal etc... now they can go in a store and take what they want or stab anyone etc.... its best to implement laws that provides security for people. also its not required for muslims to wear such cloths so why dont just try to obey for purpose of security and safety. i am a hindu and i love canada. why, its because we have an allstar groups of people that try to live in peace. we should keep this way of thought. also making some comprimises like this will go a long way for muslims with other communities as well. they should try to look at the fact that canada is not an islamic country.
