Hamilton Ontario Canada, i don't think it's Canada's fault that people were scammed. Our schools have other students'already in thoses classes. Why do I, a tax payers have to pay now because you were scammed? I'm sorry but go back and get your money and try again.

i dont wanna be that guy before i start but i think we already have a hard time finding jobs and housing as it is but all these new people we cant keep up there now making there way all over the east coast the resort in my area is ran by like 80% staff now no offence but thats hundreds of jobs that we need i have friends that work 12 hours a day at 3 different gas stations just to pay there bills only making about 100$ a day when they could have a job that pays 12$ a hour instead of 9$ see my point i thought it was very good

The UK is pretty much like Canada, now. There is only room for the 5% who are rich (the capitalists & rentiers) and the 35% of people on Benefits (the 35% of population who live off welfare paid for by the State using the hard-working tax payer's money). The honest, hard-working middle-class (about 50 to 60% of society) are absolutely screwed and doomed, because all they can now do is keep working their guts out till they drop dead, and never hope to have a decent life. The culture of state-funded Welfare has now gotten so bad that I now live in a street where some 30% of the people who live off Welfare have been given State funded houses, and those houses which are bigger and better than mine (all paid for using my tax money). And I have slogged my entire life (I am 65 now) to pay off a large mortgage on a house that eventually has lower value than the houses that people on Welfare are given on the same Street! Worse still, now that I am approaching the stage where I might need to go into a Care Home, my house (which I worked for my entire life to attain) will have to be sold off to pay for my Care Home costs. While my neighbours who never worked a single day in their life (and whose life was subsidized using my tax money) will again get free state-funded Care Home facility too! It utterly beggars belief. \n\nWhen state-funded Welfare gets to a point that doing an honest day's work actually penalizes you, because all you are doing is funding the lifestyles of the other half of society who wish to sponge off State Welfare (due to the high taxes the Government is forced to impose on the working middle-class to support the 35% on State benefits), then that society can never prosper, firstly because it removes the motivation to work hard, and secondly because some day the Government will run out of money to continuing funding the lavish lifestyles of people on State Welfare. And that is very much now the state of affairs in countries like Canada, the UK, and much of EU. It is an unsustainable model. \n\nBy contrast, in countries like the US, China, India, etc. there is a much greater correlation between hard work and reward. Choosing to not go to work and sponging off Governmental welfare is simply not an option. And that is precisely why countries like these will continue to prosper in the coming years - because they have some form of Meritocracy. Unfortunately, I think countries like the UK, Canada, and most western EU countries are looking at a downward spiral, and there are no easy solutions, because their Welfare model has already created these huge segments of society which depend on it and will not allow it to be demolished - but the day is fast approaching where they will all soon run out of money to continue funding it (most of these countries are already facing huge Debt-GDP ratios, and there is no conceivable way of them coming out of it).

What do they think will happen if everyone who needs help comes to America??? Would you actually be better off here or where they came from??? The Chinese are coming here too. We can't support them and everyone else who was already here and needed help. Please go back home there is nothing here for you. Stop paying taxes everyone! Change your W-4s to exempt and do not pay taxes in the future. The government needs to pay for this mess out their own pockets which they will quickly be reminded they have no pockets to pull money from as it belongs to us.

Ive been working my ass off to pay for my documents for legality, paid taxes yearly and just comply to whatever is needed for immigration. Now im a US citizen. And this people just think they can just walked in without legal papers pisses me off. Come on people we all have different struggles in life, but we have to do the right thing! Even if youre inside the US you cannot have a decent job and no company is gonna accept you if you dont have legal papers. Therefore you cannot open a bank account and you cannot build your credit and get a place to stay. Theres too many homeless here already. Just do the right thing! The govt cannot save you all.

They don’t realize the harm they’re doing to the ones that already here illegally and are trying to do the best to get do everything right without breaking the laws , such as paying taxes. I graduated high school , don’t have any felonies or misdemeanors. I have a degree for machine technology and I can’t work because I don’t have a work permit , and these people are coming and getting all these privileges I never got. This is causing bad to those who are already here and are trying to do everything according to the law and yet we have no support in getting atleast a work permit. I agree daca was unconstitutional which is why they’re trying to shut it down but trump was trying to make something happen for teens that were brought here at a young age. Unfortunately people are blind and selfish and only care about themselves, I get it that they live in poverty because so did we. And my beautiful mother suffered so much. But atleast wait until the US can do something about those who are already in weather it’s helping them or not. Let the authorities, government officials , etc try to clean up the United States from how bad it’s getting before raiding the border and causing a burden and headache to those who are in office trying to come up with solutions to this madness.

Yes, it's great to let immigration in, especially ones that pay taxes, but it's overburdening both the rental/housing demand (which needs opposing pressure to lower prices) as well as healthcare demand, which is not being properly addressed. Instead our healthcare system is flooded. And it's inefficient and expensive as is already. We just need to tame the number of people we allow in, and grow our ability to self-sustain first.\n- It's too late now, but government policies to give out money during COVID was poorly executed, yet plentiful. When 40% of currency was printed in the last year/two, no doubt we will have inflation. This was never touched upon in the video. Resources/social supports should have been provided rather than just straight up $$$. There was an excess of money given to places they shouldn't have been. We saw a boom in industries like say hobbies and games, showing additional money being wasted where it should have been used for food and shelter. \n- Canadian government is not trying to be as aggressive to retain Canadian companies. We are heavily dependent on US corporations and hence the brain drain as well. Salaries do not compare, especially when remote work is now possible. \n\nWe are already deep in the hole and need to be more financially responsible. I'd strongly disagree with the last statement in this video that we are perceived as corrupt (there's been lots of civil unrest because of government misspending). We are civil and polite, but that's not what helps economies grow, as OCED forecasts as well.

In the mid 1990s, I predicted the political strife and then rise of the Tea Party movement in America. I wanted to get my family out and suggested Canada. My wife said no and my father said I was overreacting. After Trump, My wife apologized for not listening to me. All the reasons to move to Canada I had researched and already knew. Now, I'm 64; I'm too old and too poor for Canada to consider me. My degrees (which I am still paying off!) are worthless in the job market and I have no other skills. But I still wish I were Canadian!

I gave up on working in Canada. With a marginal income tax rate of 53%, generating (self)employment income isn't worth it. So I have switched to only passive income streams. I have other highly educated friends who have vastly scaled back their active work activity in Canada, or who have moved to the United States, due to the immense taxes on employment income in Canada. Not only do Americans make more money, but there are many states with no state income tax, which also equates to much higher take home pay. My wife and I have already laid the groundwork for a move to Florida, with the purchase of a home in that state.

Let's do some basic life, right now unless your well educated and already had money from family, you need a job that pays at the very least 15 and hour and work a minimum of 60 hours a week to pay for a house and enough food to eat once or twice a day, don't say fast food, because when I was 12 you could get two burgers a drink and fries for like 3 something, now the same order is 10 to 12 that's down in Mississippi, notch that up the further north you go. Now on to housing, cheapest hotels or apartments that you can actually stay and sleep in without fear of disease from the bed, if your lucky 650 to 800, the average is 925. Houses! Rent to own, cheapest with ok credit, 900 to 1200 a month's for a double wide trailer or one bedroom one bathroom one person house

The town I live in and grew up in when I was in school. We only had one campus, now here we are 18 years later and my one high school now has 4 different campuses to compensate for the amount of illegals that have overtaken my town. I have no prejudice whatsoever towards these people but they need to do things the right way and become real taxpaying citizens. Would we not normally describe this as an invasion? Any other country would not tolerate this and we are fools for allowing it here. We already have too many homeless to care for so why would we allow 2 million more homeless people come here? Trudeau needs to shut this border crossing already. It is so hard and competitive already to find an apartment or house to rent, there are canadians suffering and waiting on the central housing list here for years and guess who keeps moving to the front of the line taking the spots, these people who are put up in hotels, given food, money, and citizenship, also all while the people who are trying to immigrate legally have to pay and wait, it's not fair for them.
