I only have 1560 hours of continuous student skilled work experience in Canada, which meets the minimum eligibility for the Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) program but doesn’t qualify for points under work experience. A student visa is for Studying. Not for permanent residency. Not for citizenship. Not for brining one's family over. Not for working illegally. Student Visa = Study = Graduate = Return to your country to grow your own country. If one paid illegal brokers to get a visa for a job, that is not Canada's fault. If you falsified your Immigration papers to falsify you are coming to study and your family has sufficient funds it is not Canada's problem you have to repay illegal broker loans. Something I don't understand about Indian TFWs, so enlighten me here - The top 3 countries sending TFWs to Canada are Mexico, Guatemala and Jamaica (58K workers in 2023 vs 2.8K Indians). This is out of ~70K total workers. All this data is from stat can (TFW citizenship by country). Why isn't anyone talking about them? Also Thailand and Philippines are neck to neck with India in TFW numbers. Did they just throw an insignificant bone to distract the angry public so they can continue their shenanigans?

You go, girl!!\nI immigrated to Canada myself and now thinking my kids will be leaving makes me cringe. This nation was destroyed in 9 years. The socialist policies are backed up with data on how poor we are performing and how discontented people are. I will never vote for Liberals again. Their (supported by the NDP) victimization of the vulnerable narrative doesn't help with true productivity and destroys the backbone of a nation which is the upper and middle class. Without a strong supportive society, the lower class suffers. The government's interference in distributing wealth all it does is bring distortion and chaos. Canada's International student program was exploited by those whose real intention were to become economic migrants. Agents in India who signed them up to many bogus collages lied to them and said that it was a path to Canadian citizenship, which what totally false. This loophole caused the number of International students to increase from 230,000 a year to over 850,000, with most of those causing the dramatic increase to be from India. Indians scamming other Indians, exactly like in India. The Liberal government of Justin Trudeau was incompetent in allowing this fraudulent behaviour to continue too long and it's why this whole mess happened. About 500,000 young Indians wasted their money and should have never come to Canada in the first place.

I live in Canada. I was born and raised in Calcutta as we navigated daily through filth and dirt on the streets - not only because of the poor on the street - but bec of everyone else who walks around and thinks nothing of throwing their garbage on the streets, spitting and blowing their noses on the streets and even in buildings - stairway landings, or peeing in the open - in public spaces or against building walls, etc.. Narcissistic, selfish drivers who cut people off, break the traffic rules, grab parking spots, etc.. They come here and make every effort to Indianize Canada - to make this into India instead of respecting this country that has generously and (ignorantly!!) allowed them in!! If they want to live their Indian culture in an 'Indian environment' - then for goodness sake - GO BACK TO INDIA and clean up that country your call your 'matri bhoomi' - your Mother!! I worked for only 10 years in the USA paying a small portion of my earnings in taxes. Then I returned to Canada, working 25 years and paying a much larger portion of my earnings in taxes. So I understand why Canadians feel they way they do. Especially the ones born and raised here. I'm 31, was born here, and I often feel the same way everyone else does. The only problem that I see is that the issues that are in Canada are also in every other Western country. I'm concerned with the future, but I also know that throughout every generation, there are ups and downs. I'm willing to stick it out. I live outside of Toronto,I love the lack of natural disasters and access to water, and I still feel very safe. Although crime is up, it is nothing compared to the U.S. \n\nI'm actually living quite comfortably. Although my costs have gone up, I have made smart decisions in my life that allow me to live well. I own my own house, don't have car or credit card debt, and I only need to earn 40k a year to cover all of my bills. Every cent extra I earn goes to paying down my mortgage, gym, and golf once a week. \n\nThe question is, is it better l elsewhere? I don't know, but I am trying to be happy with what I have instead of what I could have had by being born 30 years too late. Ultimately, I would rather stay here work within the system to change it and continue to make smart decisions that put me ahead.
