I do not take this video as seriously and you are kind of mocking us by not addressing the obvious. At least you are brave enough to talk about gun culture and killing kids in schools. You show me the small American towns that are BLUE and not RED. They are rare. Check out your last electoral map. Also we (our family of four) agree, we have decided to NEVER travel to the US for holidays again. Let alone ever live there. We would actually pick Jamaica or Fiji over any of your sunbelt states. I really enjoyed your video and comments plus learning more about the world around me. I would never move to the states because of the I would love to have my kids to feel safe and have a proper education that is open minded and aware of the world around them and not taught things that are not true.

Never lived in the US but have visited a lot. I do have family in Washington state and I really enjoy visiting that part of the country. I didn't like New York and California only because of the sheer amount of people. Way too many people for my liking. Walking down the streets I felt like I was being shoulder checked with every step. In some smaller areas, absolutely loved the people and communities. Very friendly, and I find Americans to be very patriotic which I absolutely love! Health care and gun violence would be enough to keep me away though. Now in 2023, I find America becoming political polarized. Just watching the news is enough to raise my blood pressure (which I don't even have). If I got a chance to leave the snow behind, I think I would choose overseas on a island somewhere. Also at the age where I want peace and quiet. Raised kids already so more on the downlow and quite beach life. Thanks for your videos Tyler you are definitely one of my favorite Americans. Another great video. Don't take any of this to heart... remember that in Canada our Nightly News includes the US and the rest of the world ... good and bad .As a kid we travelled the States for 30 days every summer. We never encountered any problems except for racism. I remember we went to Wendy's for lunch we never had one in Canada back then. The manager walked up to the young kid cleaning the window and said nigger do better. We were all horrified and my dad looked at us three girls and said keep your mouth shut don't say anything. Despite that experience the States has so much to offer even today. Now as an adult my concern would be Healthcare and violence. I cannot comprehend people bearing arms at a McDonald's or Walmart or Target. I would still move to the US but be very picky about where. Tyler why don't you do an episode on great, safe places to live in the US.

You say Americans pay a fee every month for health care. I am 84 and I have never paid a penny for health care above my taxes. And our taxes are not a lot higher than in the US. \nI saw a video recently that compared school shootings in all countries. Most had zero, a couple had 2, US had a huge number by comparison. Check it out.

NO, for all the reasons mentioned in the video, and some not..\n\nFrankly some of the laws down there are questionable at best.... the law enforcement 'Civil Forfeiture' laws, where the police can effectively just rob you, seize your assets, and it's up for you to fight to get them back, if you can at all - with unclaimed assets being sold off, the money being sent up the ladder to the state level where it trickles back down as 'funding' for the local police agencies. Yeah, that's theft of property, and laundering, done legally, by the US gov't.\n\nI would never move there, and up to about 10 years ago I was willing to at least visit there... not now though.

Tyler, thanks for your entertaining and fun videos. My grandfather is a dual citizen but has never renewed his passport or anything and when asked to do so, he outright refuses. He says he hated living there. We live in the Vancouver area of Canada right now. My wife is finishing her registered nursing degree and we are considering moving to washington state, within an hour or so of the Canadian border on temporary work visas (TN1) for a few years. The main reason is the cost of living differences, mostly in housing but a lot of things are cheaper down there too. For example though, the costs of rent or to buy a house in the Vancouver area is insane - 1.5 million is generally a starting point. The cost of a detached house south of the border between Bellingham and Blaine starts around $400,000 ($500,000 CDN). If renting, it's crazy cheaper than here. \n\nThe area we are considering going to is very close to the canadian border, I've never heard of major violence problems in the area. Like one of the other comments you read, we're basically considering moving there to take advantage of a lower cost of living and higher salaries for a bit to try to get ahead. Living in the Vancouver area is such an absolute DRAIN on our finances that it is intolerable. If we didn't move to the US, we'd have to find another place in Canada to go to, but we do like the climate on the coast here. I'd actually just keep commuting to Canada daily to work in Canada since it's so close to the border, and writing the bar exam to be able to practice law in any US state except California, Massachusets, or New York is a pain in the backside to even be able to write it, let alone prepare for it. Just easier for me to keep working here unless we decided to try to make a permanent move somewhere further from the border.\n\nIf we decided to change our minds and apply to stay in the US in the future, there are a lot of the other considerations that other people have raised on top of my own ability to continue as a lawyer. Gun violence in the US is crazy, extreme polarized political views and increasing intolerance against diversity of race, culture, religion, (and while it doesnt affect us directly, it bothers us how LGBTQ people are increasingly targeted with backwards policies and by certain segments of the public), the health care system in canada has it's problems but it's also got it's strong points. We'll never go bankrupt because of a health care issue since we can move back to Canada IF it's ever a problem. Thankfully we are all pretty healthy so it shouldn't be much of a problem for a while at least. And we wouldn't even move there at all if her employment as a nurse doesn't offer health care and better pay than she can obtain here. \n\nOur kids will probably attend post-secondary (college/university) in Canada as dual citizens unless they get a scholarship to a top US school. The costs of post-secondary in Canada appears to be much cheaper than in the US and we have some good colleges/universities that consistently rank high globally.

I love my country. saying that now....\nThe last 10 years for Canada has been the worst ever in history, our government has destroyed the foundation of what it means to be Canadian and has made this country look very bad on the world stage.\nEventually that will change. This currently gives reasons why a Canadian wants to move from Canada.\nYou are right about the US, there are places you can move to that offer quiet, country, safe living but like Canada, those places usually trade the good life for lack of opportunity.. the difference is most of Canada gives you the good life and opportunity in the same place. A good example, Billings Montana or Red Deer Alberta... if you compare the 2, they are close, but overall life in Red Deer would be better.\nCulture has changed thoughts too, I could never get used to seeing anyone other that law enforcement carrying a gun.. I realize Americans have the right to carry guns.... but why? are you being invaded?\nI will pick up a gun if i need too in order to protect my country, but I don't need to prove it by displaying it in public. Take a gander at any large, medium, and even a few small cities.\n\nHave you ever heard of Detroit (once proud home of my beloved Motown music), Baltimore (complete devastation), or Chicago (my home town—don’t make me cry)?\n\nThe entire homeless situation started when mental hospitals were snake pits and certain factions demanded that people be released.\n\nSure, it sounds humanitarian but they didn't bother to consider what would happen to mentally ill patients suddenly left to their own devices on the streets.\n\nThe do gooders actually were foolish enough to believe that the seriously ill patients (schizophrenic, bipolar, borderline, and plenty of others) would take their meds on their own. I’m 52 years old and have never witnessed outright racism against blacks. Yesterday I went to see a doctor. I have fibromyalgia and can barely walk but I had to cause I don’t have a car atm. The waiting room was PACKED. I asked about seeing a doctor and was told “ he’s not seeing patients today”. I asked “what about all of these people”? She said “they’re all immigrants and he is seeing them”. I’ve lived here my entire life but I guess he wasn’t seeing Canadians. I find the black people that complain and cry racism haven’t done much with their life. I have friends that are VERY SUCCESSFUL black people and they never talk like this. You just wouldn’t not hear it out of their mouths. And they live in Edmonton . Hard working, decent people they are. I’m facing homelessness come July 1. Ain’t nobody coming to save me. Rent increase of $430 dollars will do that tho. Everyone is struggling to some degree. Instead of further dividing us, we should be coming together to come up with solutions to help each other. Some good points were touched on. We need solutions! What does this mean?\n\n- We need some immigration discipline. Yes, it's great to let immigration in, especially ones that pay taxes, but it's overburdening both the rental/housing demand (which needs opposing pressure to lower prices) as well as healthcare demand, which is not being properly addressed. Instead our healthcare system is flooded. And it's inefficient and expensive as is already. We just need to tame the number of people we allow in, and grow our ability to self-sustain first.\n- It's too late now, but government policies to give out money during COVID was poorly executed, yet plentiful. When 40% of currency was printed in the last year/two, no doubt we will have inflation. This was never touched upon in the video. Resources/social supports should have been provided rather than just straight up $$$. There was an excess of money given to places they shouldn't have been. We saw a boom in industries like say hobbies and games, showing additional money being wasted where it should have been used for food and shelter. \n- Canadian government is not trying to be as aggressive to retain Canadian companies. We are heavily dependent on US corporations and hence the brain drain as well. Salaries do not compare, especially when remote work is now possible. \n\nWe are already deep in the hole and need to be more financially responsible. I'd strongly disagree with the last statement in this video that we are perceived as corrupt (there's been lots of civil unrest because of government misspending). We are civil and polite, but that's not what helps economies grow, as OCED forecasts as well.

while I agree with a lot of this video theres one crucial aspect this video neglects and same with the commenters here.. POPULATION. \n\nCompared to countries like denmark, sweden, japan, france, uk, etc. we have a much bigger country to maintain landmass wise. Infrastructure. USA is similar but they have 10x the population as us. Our population in canada is pathetic. Problem is everyone stays in ontario or BC which is stupid, im in sask I want population. Another thing about infrastructure is our climate. We have such drastic events in our climate across our huge country that takes a toll. Climate problems with our low population is not a good thing. We talk about weather daily. I never realized until internationals pointed that out that we are obsessed with weather in sask lol. \n\n Our housing market is a joke and I agree we need to invest more in buisnesses but at the same time we need affordable housing, we are in a weird spot. As far as working etc goes people commenting here lol the golden years of the 80s are gone old timers, my parents realize this that you guys were spoiled in one of the greatest time periods in human history - post WWII boom and the effects. I could go on and on how the 70s-90s were one of the best time periods in modern history for various reasons but I wont. There are problems internationally, we live in a globalist world. We still have it good. Go travel and make international friends. This is nothing that we are dealing with at the moment. All I will say though is leave the huge metropolitans like Toronto and Vancouver. Everyone wants to go there because they think 'theres more opportunity' ugh. Theres opportunity across canada but if everyone things like that there will be problems. The idea of Ontario or BC is just a big nope for me (although I go to BC every couple years, love it there I would not want to live there).

Approx 12%+ of Canada's GDP is located in rural Canada. I agree with your video to an extent, sure I grew up in a town with, 3rd world condtions, no clean water, no sewage, no roads, fly in fly out and you never mentioned that we have a small portion of that here too. However I see you are only scratching the surface of the issures that can polorize each viewpoint.

We will also all receive better care at the hospital. \n \nUS companies and foreign companies are building factories in India or in Mexico when the same workers are at our doors. Let's build them here in the USA and we English speakers will have to manage them unfortunately since that’s the language of the Country. If you speak Spanish and English, you are going to have many jobs. \nEverything important should be made in America with all these workers. We can all have our own factories and business and exploit cheap labor flocking to our Great Country. We must use this to our advantage while it lasts. \nCheap labor we can Build houses that are affordable. Fix all the infrastructure we have been crying about. \n \n5. If War we're ready! \nIf we ever have another World War first one to go are minorities and poor people so, not only does it provide us with a bigger army, but you might not be first to get drafted. Good video. Canada is the way it is because of the Liberal government. Pierre Trudeau who had good intentions to give everyone the freedom to act without respect has consequences. The 2nd biggest country in the world and you have no houses built! I moved to the Netherlands from Canada. Here 80% of the people have never paid a penny on their mortgages, only the interest, this enables people to have a home. Obviously, a socialist country pays the prices, and taxes are high, but they do not have mentally homeless people on the streets.

In 2004 I wrote a somewhat famous article called 'Top 8 reasons not to immigrate to Canada'. In short, the Canadian authorities tried to destroy my life. They made it so that I could not be employable in Canada. So I moved to the U.S. in 2005 and then some years later I moved permanently to the Philippines. I am happy that so many years later videos like yours are saying essentially the same things that I did. I was ahead of my time. I will never go back to Canada. Not to live, not to visit, not even a connecting flight. Too cold, too expensive, taxes are astronomical, no freedom, no jobs, no opportunities, xenophobic people, too depressing. It has become the North Korea of the western world.

Stay safe -\n\n---\n\nI migrated to Canada over a decade ago with a hope for better life as a skilled worker and obtained a professional license to practice in Ontario. I have many friends in Canada, and my clients appreciated my work. However, I found it very risky continuing to live in Ontario / Canada, and couldn’t continue doing any business where there is no fair legal protection and do not respect the basic human rights of ethnic minorities.\n\nThere are too many fraudulent organizations, individuals, legal professionals, and public servants with authority. People with fiduciary duty openly lie, abuse their authority, commonly downplay the significance of their criminal acts, and together they seem to be trying to maintain their status quo biases.\n\nI have emigrated from Canada a year ago to protect my health and life, but am still concerned about the safety of my good friends who live in Ontario/Canada because of the corrupt legal system there. \n\nSpecific examples of what I have experienced: \n\n[Employment Case] \n- Punished by ‘the system’ for pointing out the risk of clients' data manipulation by the upper management of a company; investigations by the Ministry of Labour were biased and incomplete; the legal proceedings by OLRB was interrupted and biased; they have suppressed/buried the evidences that I have provided; they did not share all case files with the applicant(me) but among all other parties until one minute before 5pm on the last day of the statute of limitation; the Vice Chair had interrupted the direct negotiation between the parties and closed the case by canceling the hearing; the Board’s lawyer told, 'sue the Ontario government if you have any issue'; \n\n[Civil Case/Lawyer Malpractice] \n- Ignored by the system when filed a complaint about the fraudulent practices (to LSO) and a fraudulent charge of over 10K without any itemized invoice (to the Superior Court of Justice [SCJ]) made by a contingency lawyer after failing to respond to the opposing party by deadline, failing to negotiate, and abandoning the client(me); the lawyer is apparently a son of board members / public servants of the province and the country, according to a paralegal who I met for the first time at the Fee Assessment Hearing “by chance” and claimed himself as my counsel to the Court clerks and telling them to send all documents to him (I’ve never asked nor retained him); LSO refused to investigate my reporting; the Commissioner had refused to accept a critical evidence, and refused to investigate without reason; the Fee Assessment Officer at SCJ was biased by giving privilege to the lawyer at the hearing, and interrupted the hearing without waiting my response; (the lawyer wrote an online article then about LSO and said “There are too many unacceptable practices that are being tolerated or ignored by the Law Society - from improper marketing to improper contingency retainer agreements. The regulatory penalties for such breaches are essentially non-existent, and these practices will continue until there are adequate enforcement measures in place.” He appeared to be talking about himself. He had threatened to pay the unreasonable fee over 10K for the unfinished contingency case, withdrew the amount anyway from my credit-card, and refused to provide the case files to me/client, while OLRB Vice Chair had ordered to cancel the hearing after interrupting the direct negotiation with the opposing party; they all refused to share the records of communications that had occurred without my knowlege/presence.)\n\n[Residential Tenancy/Public Health&Safety Case]\n- Punished by the system for requesting the property owner to eradicate health hazards (toxic mold, pests, and dusts) from my living space in a residential rental property; LTB proceedings was biased and unfair, interrupted multiple times when I spoke and suppressed the use of my evidences in the hearing (e.g., a letter from a medical doctor, warning the danger of continued exposure to toxic mold), downplayed the risks of exposure to asbestos/lead and the obvious contraventions of the laws [OHSA, RTA, and municipal Property Standards by-laws] by the property owner; LTB suggested the [former] Tenant to pay for the order reviews only to decline those reviews; LTB's selective omissions of evidences that are inconvenient to the other party/ the property owner; my basic human rights were clearly violated -- no response from LTB, Tribunals Ontario, nor Human Rights Tribunals; the property owner, municipal Property Standards office, and LTB have colluded, needlessly delayed the proceedings, and closed the case after 2.5 years without issuing any order against the property owner’s contraventions of the laws, while I had continued to suffer from the prolonged exposures to health hazards (I have paid the rent in full for over a decade without any delay, even during the Covid lockdown, out of my retirement savings [I was not eligible for the government financial support during the lockdown -- no income, but some retirement savings]). At least two of sixteen units in the building had their balconies literally falling apart; the walls have cracks and friable materials in the living space; my neighbors were afraid of falling through the cracks on the balconies from the upper floors — you never hear about these things in news because they are all colluded and do not issue any official orders.\n\n[Healthcare Issue]\n- I left Canada before Nov. 30, 2021, as I had serious reactions to the first Covid vaccine-shot (my immune system was compromised, affected by the continued exposures to health hazards in my apartment) but my physician had refused to diagnose them then — there was no proof of my adverse reactions to the first shot; later the physician had made lies and terminated the doctor-patient relationship; I was required to take the second-shot, or else… I have disposed / gave away of my belongings within two weeks and left the country to protect my health and life -- fled from Canada.\n\nReported to CBC, but they do not reply. \nPosted Gogle Reviews, but they are deleted.

I live in British Columbia. In a city people consider “dangerous.” I remember I had a package delivered to my door. I was at work so I couldn’t go get it. I was imagining those videos I saw on YouTube of people getting their packages stolen within 10 minutes of it sitting there. But nah, It stayed there for 6 hours and never got stolen. Heck my workplace, had a package delivered on Friday evening and it stayed there outside until Monday. I was very surprised both times. I’m not saying that I’m living in a utopia, I’ve gotten robbed before, like everyone else I have my complaints. I think what really helps Canada is the smaller population. Less people means less people to rob shit. That tap water do be nice though.

If your video discourages a few day-dreamin', ill prepared candidates to move to Canada, all the better. We already have our share of whining, self-centered or never-satisfied Canadians of all origins. Now, please note that the much vilified Quebec legislation prohibiting Muslim women to wear a hijab when working in the civil service has a much wider aim. In fact, it prohibits all State employees to wear religious sign - whether it be a Christian cross or a Sikh kirpan, while working. Whether one thinks it is a good idea or not, the law's objective is to uphold the neutrality of the State - not to discriminate against Muslim women.

RBC is one of the largest banks in the world never mind Canada. There are only two English names of six on your list. One is French one German and two Scotts. If you try to say the Scotts are close enough to be considered english then you have never known a Scott and are badly ignorant of history; they are oil and water. There are numerous other mistakes in your video which to me shows a lack of research. All your stuff sounds like what comes on the news on a slow day. Perhaps that's your source. It would explain a lot. If you really want to get information on anything stop relying on news bites and actually do the work.

one of my cousin is been living in canada for the past 20+years, about the healthcare, it is much worst even compared to countries like Pakistan or India, my cousin was suffering from renal kidney disease and he had to make a kidney transplant but he was not able to get on that surgery, first he was refused of getting any donor in canada and then finally when he arranged his own donor from Pakistan, they did not give the visa to the donor and finally my cousin had to travel all the way back to Pakistan and get his treatment done here, despite all this the Canadian government after all the rush never replied to a single email from my cousin or his donor and finally he had to take a huge risk of travelling miles back home!!so the healthcare in Canada really sucks big time...thumbs up for making this video!!best of luck!!happy holidays!

To the lady who is in the video pointing out all the bad stuff, where are you from? Let's talk about why you left your country. I don't get why people are so shocked we have homelessness in Canada, I guess people from other poorer countries overlook this part. Homelessness has been around for many decades now. Money doesn't grow on trees, you have to earn it my dear. I have lived in 2 cities and never had a hard time finding a doctor. My parent's immigrated here legally and they came from small mountain villages. They learned the language (not easy) they worked hard, and they never had to go on assistance. They bought their home paid it off had 3 kids and lived their life and never complained, maybe its because they came from a different generation. You have to look at the big picture.

You are wrong about Canada protecting and caring about homeless and in-need people. The reality is that even though you don't see all the homeless people, there are tens of thousands of them in each city, more so in the warmer climates. The UN has already been on Canada's back for the abuse of homeless people and the cruelty towards them and those with mental health problems. Canada is a fraud and has been deceiving immigrants and visitors for over a hundred years. Many of the homeless people in Canada, especially in the past 20 years and from the start of the pandemic, continuing to this day, are now including people with good educations and many years of high-level job experiences, as well as whole families. These people became homeless because of massive job layoffs and lost everything. Contrary to the popular Canadian ideology, homeless people are not lazy slobs who don't bother to work and need to get their acts together. Many of the homeless shelters are filled with dangerous people, bed bugs, and diseases. Many homeless people choose to find alternatives to sleep safely. Many homeless women experience terrible sexual assaults that rarely are reported and rarely ever taken seriously by the police. Most alternatives to shelters are limited and there are so many restrictions that qualifying doesn't always happen. Many have had their ID stolen, so they are unable to get jobs, rent homes, or even have a day to shower and clean their clothes. Most donations of clothes, blankets, and sleeping bags are disregarded because most homeless people don't have the means to carry things. Their nutrition is terrible, through no fault of their own. Many food banks will not give food to those without a home. Many soup kitchens will only help periodically and not for every meal. Canada's treatment of homeless people and mentally people is not just disgraceful, but criminal. The general attitude of many Canadians, as taught to them by deliberate government propaganda, is that if you are poor or were abused or a victim of crime, is that they did something to deserve it. Rents across Canada are beyond the reach of the majority of Canadians, yet, Canada refuses to set up a council house system like the UK. There are no emergency homes and no emergency assistance even close to what the UK and other countries across the world provide. Canada's continued abuse, ill-treatment, crimes against humanity, and genocide of the First Nations peoples is not a past history, but an ongoing history that is not about reconciliation. It is about shutting them up so that they cannot speak and get true justice, instead of just a federal government settlement of a meager amount that has only increased the addictions of victims, who have no one to help them or a place to turn. Canada lies about trauma help and treatment for people for having been victims, or have developed PTSD (this is a brain injury and only a mental health problem if the person becomes suicidal or is unable to do the basics of essential living), and worse, Canada lies about this in relation to kids. Alberta has a place that they claim is for treating trauma in kids. However, this place is nothing more than a low-level counseling center to reunite kids with their parents, who have been removed by law. Any child requiring help has to deal with just basic counselors, who are not trained in helping traumatized and PTSD kids. In relation to the First Nations peoples, if the teens have mental health issues, and if they have to be temporarily hospitalized by their parents, social workers and doctors will force joint custody with the parents, to treat the kids or remove them so they can carry on the government's crimes against the First Nations peoples. The crimes continue. In these past few months, a baby was left to die in a basket at a nurse's station in the Misericordia Hospital, Edmonton, Alberta. The mother was allegedly treated like garbage and her child was allegedly called a specimen. But this is not the only case of such abuse of First Nations pregnant mothers and their children. A case over a decade ago allegedly also took place, and the number of these cases in this hospital alone may possibly be much higher, and other hospitals may also be hiding such crimes. An infant, who was the victim of attempted murder by one or the other parent, was put in the care of relatives by social workers, who were totally unaware of the crime, but the one parent, who was put in the hospital's mental health unit, mentioned a version of what had happened, and when the relatives found out, they were allegedly reassured by the hospital that they would deal with the matter. The relatives believed, understandably, that the hospital would report the crime, but it never did. Allegedly the hospital covered up yet another crime. The police in the city, allegedly informed at some point, one of the relatives that no charges could be laid even if the child remembered as the Canadian health services do not believe that children below the age of 4 can remember anything. It was when I heard about this that I realized that the reason Canada has gotten away with the crimes against the 1st Nations, immigrants, Canadians, and who knows how many other victims, through the mandated alleged use of forced assimilation and the alleged Soviet-style education system, is because of this fake claim that children and even infants cannot remember things. This deliberate lie to those relatives allegedly by the police, shows clearly that Canada is following the dangerous path in a more stealthy fashion than the Nazis did to the Jews and others they rounded up, arrested, tortured, and/or eventually murdered. Your perceptions are limited by your obvious lack of real knowledge and real experience. Please, if you are going to make such a video, live in Canada, all over Canada for at least 30 years, then comment, please!

The bitter truth must be accepted. Without any exaggeration. Completely impartial. I have to say that I didn't see a single piece of garbage in any of the other country's videos to convince myself. Without exaggeration, in all Canadian cities, you will find a piece of trash or garbage on the ground less than every hundred meters. It must have an important reason. I do not know. I lived in Vancouver for 4 years, this city is a disaster. when you drive or walk on East Hastings, Victoria Drive, Commercial Drive, West Georgia, Broadway, Main Street, Granville, and most places downtown, you never believe this city is in Canada. they're worst than some places in Africa or the 3rd world countries in Asia. I love this country and try my best to help. I came for peace. I thought Canada is a developed and first-world country like European countries, the US, Japan, South Korea, Australia, News Land, and Singapore with the western standard, and also I thought is one of the best. The first time 2018 I arrived in Vancouver, I was shocked. I saw a lot of homelessness, trash, crime, ugly urbanism, and rusty houses in downtown and east Vancouver. I saw, homeless people, pooping and peeing everywhere and it's so common. nobody cares. I was shocked again. I endured for 3 years but every day going worst. late in 2022I decided to move to the east coast because I thought that place has a stronger culture. I chose Montreal. I had heard it is the capital of art and civilization in Canada. it was absolutely wrong. Canada is Canada. I was shocked again, again, and again. the wave of homelessness, graffiti, vandalism, bad smell, terrible infrastructure especially roads in or out of the city, and above all, you can see trash everywhere. plastic bags, tissues, water bottles, and disposable cups. You cannot see any street or park or public place without these. This is impossible. surprisingly nobody cares. neither the people nor the government!!!!!!! please, don't be fooled by the advertisement about a good Canada. please, be careful. most of the things about a good Canada are deception.

I have lived in central BC, Nova Scotia and I grew up in Calgary. I have never found a family doctor to be hard to find. Homelessness has never been a significant problem. The problems you expressed in this video seems (at least) somewhat exclusive to Toronto and Vancouver. I hate when these two cities are showcased as Canada in its entirety is when obviously, Canada is so much more than that.

Very good video, I wish I knew it all in 2014! Taxes, OMG this was such a nasty surprise when my grocery bill was higher than what I saw on a price tag. Funny that a lot of this is true in Switzerland as well. Switzerland hates overachievers but values team work. Always respect your team, help and be polite are absolute dealbreakers. Other aspects of cultural norm also works. Remember how Canadians were closed when it comes to personal topics, Swiss people are reserved and it takes time to get closer to them but they can also been direct when it comes to a civil state, at least this happened to me. \nFunny fact: when I arrived in Switzerland I had Canadian views of a distance and annoyed people by saying 80km is close, but when I explained I used to live in Canada they understand I need time to adjust. \nI lived 5yrs in Toronto and never get issues with winter, but I hate summer heat not winter.

Pun intended ;) \nI've lived in three different countries and soon moving to the fourth ie. Canada. Living in different places gives a broader view on society and helps understanding that nowhere is perfect. I think that immigrants' frustration primarly comes from the fact that we do not make enough research on what to expect when moving. You should write down pros and cons on moving, make sure you understand what are the most important things for you and check if that new country provides that. Watching videos like yours is a great way to start. It really comes down to what you want from life and if you are willing to adapt to achieve it. \nOn the other hand, Canadians' frustration might come from the fact that they never lived anywhere else :)\nAs for my top three things that disapoint me the most: Healthcare, Housing, Technology.
