The only reason we are staying right now is because our son is taking a three year college course and has only just about completed one year. Another related topic that you covered was about the high cost of rents and the ridiculous rental situations - many of them in Brampton. He is saving money living at home right now. Another big problem is that we don't have the infrastructure for all these people. My son routinely stands up most of the way to school or can't get on a bus because it's full.

Politics are like a pendulum. In my youth the right was largely the unreasonable voice; strong conservative policies derived in part by religious values that didn’t mesh with more progressive mainstream views. There was also a small but perceivable undertone of anti-imigration and racist sentiment in Canada's rural areas. Now the pendulum has swung far to the left. Now the extremists are on the left, killing free speech, mandating bodily harm, and cramming a nonsensical woke ideology down our throats. The voice of reason is now right of center. If I had to compare the two I would say that the current left ideology has been far more damaging. I hope that the next election will be the start of a new Canadian renaissance and that the pendulum doesn't swing too far to the right. I am an American Pagan but I have many Hijabi friends and I have always strongly upheld that I will catch an assault charge to protect a Muslima who is attacked/exposed in a hate crime. Just remember wherever you guys pick make sure that they speak the same dialect that you do otherwise you're going to have that learning curve of learning their dialects. It is different in a lot of places like learning to speak like the yemeni do is different than the Pakistani. So just keep that in mind. My grandfather is from Yemen and his wife who is my grandmother and my dad's side is from sudan. And they used to tell me it took them a while to understand each other. My Syrian grandmother on my mom's side would teach me words and phrases and my grandpa who was from Yemen would always make fun of me because I wasn't saying stuff right. I'm not really good at speaking Arabic but I can get by so just remember when you guys are picking somewhere to pick a place that won't be that hard to understand people. I'm only saying that because with the kids you guys send the kids to school they may learn a different dialect than what you taught at home and it will be a learning curve for them to try to understand. But I'm sure you guys will make the right decision. I just figured I would throw that in there I'm sure you already know that the dialects are a lot different and Arabic is a lot different in different parts of the world. People think Arabic is all the same and it's really different. Just like people who speak Spanish in South America speak different dialects on the Puerto Ricans just like people in Brazil don't speak Spanish they speak portuguese. Just a thing to think about. Even though I became Muslim only since mid March, I’ve been considering making the Hijra to a Muslim country Insha’Allah. I can’t relate to living in cold weather conditions being in Southern California, but I can relate to everything else. \n\nI’m not married. Insha’Allah one day I will. But I think about the safety my wife will have going out in public in her hijab. Insha’Allah I’ll have kids and I wonder about the indoctrination going on in society. \n\nBut the biggest thing for me is living in the US and knowing that whoever is in charge will endorse genocide. And for a country that prides itself on free speech, yet we see that speech being limited when it comes to standing up for what’s right.
