How are the buses doing this? if Canadians travel on buses they have to stop at the border and show the authorities their passports. There use to be a border patrol show for the Canadian border. I always hated that show because how difficult it was to even enter the country to visit. Very very strick and the agents did their jobs well. What happened to those standards. The illegals wouldn’t be crossing the border if Canada kept those strick standards. It is actually very easy to keep the border closed in the north. Outside of roads, crossing the northern border is not going to be fun. You have the St Lawrence, the Great Lakes, Forests that are no fun to try and cross, the badlands then mountains. And all of that is in the summer, the winter it would be near suicide as is being shown. Spring and Fall you get rain so it becomes much harder to cross.

Canada is securing their borders because of the frequent and much more abundant cases of drugs and guns being smuggled into Canada! My wife and I took a bus trip to see the Rockies some years ago. We crossed the US/Canadian border several times. Each time, border security did a passport check on everyone (both sides of the border) and a random luggage search. My wife and I, in our 50s, were the youngest on the bus. The vast majority of immigrants crossing the Canada-US border are crossing into Canada from the US. 200,000 in 2024 alone. Where are immigrants getting $35,000? I am an Indian who lives in India. Those Indians who were trying to sneak into US borders, were criminals. I can understand and sympathize when someone is fleeing poverty and war zones but these Indians were well-off and lived comfortable lives in India. These Indians were greedy. They wanted more easy money. For their greed, they crossed international borders illegally. They are no different than any other international criminals. They deserved to be handcuffed and deported from USA.
