I'm in a similar situation. As a Canadian citizen who recently lost my job, I'm unable to apply for EI, and my only option seems to be leaving the country. It's incredibly challenging to find a job and make a living in Toronto or in Canada in general right now.

Ohhh ya mr.president..... first you open the doors for such students, collect their money ( 28 billion ) which is more than canadas military budget and now you say we dont need them...This is hypocrisy.... The stringent policies had to be in place right from inception. U cant say now that you were not aware of the wrong practises going on .....college in strip malls, no classes being conducted, all kinds of scams have happened and no one cared. \n\nAnd students are also to be blamed too....without checking anything they blindly just followed a dream never to be coming true. \n\nInstead of protesting to stay...,ask government to give your money and you will be happy to go back. As it is the funds are being\nUsed for wrongful reasons. \n\nThis country has lost the mere fabric ....tks Mr. JT.

All that you say makes me really sad as well. Oh Canada!. We have lost leadership.

I agree, if you don't like it here, you should leave. However, the challenges we face in Canada are not unique to our country. It's easy to believe the grass is greener elsewhere, but I'm willing to accept both the good and the bad, and I haven't lost hope that we can fix Canada from within. Of course, this requires believing that change is possible and being willing to contribute in any way you can. Frankly, I find your attitude defeatist. You're happy to enjoy the good times, but as soon as things get rough, you're ready to leave. It makes me wonder if our current situation isn't partly due to people's unwillingness to do more than complain and run away when things get tough.

All are the same, all of the Western countries go down-hill, before they lost the competition to Japan, S Korea, now they lost the competition to China, SE Asia, and South America, that's why you see people in Canada and many developed nations lost their job, what people in Canada need to do is study harder, work harder not being lazy.

It's amazing how much one person (Trudeau) can destroy a nation. I wish Harper was PM and never lost to this insanely bad guy that killed Canada.

Ooh, how the plot thickens. First, the UK ??now Canada ??. Prepare for the worst. The governments have lost their minds, and we are suffering because of their curruption. I pray you learn from us and dont just riot but get to the source of the issue (The elites)

I am an immigrant and I love this country. It’s a privilege to be here and not a right. Problem is people don’t want to integrate and accept Canadian values. On top government does not grow infrastructure in with population boom and honestly it shouldn’t be this much at all. It’s hurtful to see it be in decline like this. I remember celebrating Canada Day and being proud, now it’s all lost.

As a permanent resident who immigrated from Eastern Europe, passed all the stages of the official immigration program (skilled worker) I'm just shocked what is happening in Canada. Canada is lost, the problem is much deeper than you think. The main problem is not low wages, high property prices, etc, the root cause is that native Canadians are too tolerate, too kind, too polite and can't just say (and act) - get fucking out of my country, all those illegal indian students and temporary workers. \nI believe cultural damage being done to this country is much more dangerous than any possible economic benefits from mass immigration. My purpose was to immigrate to Canada not to India, luckily I have a backup plan to return to Eastern Europe but I'm really sorry for the Canadian natives who are losing their country.

If you want to talk about the crisis, let's start at the beginning, shall we?
\nIt all began when the USA wanted to use Pakistan as a drop-off point for their army. Pakistan saw this as a golden opportunity and made the most of it. Pakistan and India were, unfortunately, enemies.
\nLots of money started to flow into India, especially Punjab. They started helping criminal and hardline religious leaders so they could create problems for India.
\nAfter Pakistan lost the war with India, many of those criminals fled. They went to Pakistan, Pakistan saw that as ppportunity and asked the USA for help. The USA was kind enough to take in those folks and dump them in Canada,. Give them funds to for their Khalistani movement, to create problem for India to make Pakistan happy. Just like the USA once funded Al-Qaeda, the Taliban, etc. to hurt Russia.
\nMeanwhile, Canada started using those criminals as a Vote bank. And what do these folks do? They form gangs, of course! Gangs need people, so they started inviting or smuggling people from India. Most of those people are just criminals or the lowest of the low.
\nWhen those Khalisthani creating problem for India, Canada and the USA support them.
\nDrugs, smuggling, trafficking, and violence are the only things these Khalisthani have learned.
\nUntil USA, Canada stop supporting Khalisthani movement both Canda and India will suffer from these people.

As an immigrant who grew up here, I am always judged because I say Canada should limit the number of immigrants coming in the country not because I am egoistic or what but because I think that Canada is selling a dream to people who sell their houses and everything to come to a place where the system has lost its structure. ? I don’t blame immigrants but the government for failing not the country but also new arrivals

In terms of civil rights in identity obsessed Canada, where equal rights no longer exist, the Singh family aren't at the top of the ladder. You poor folks lost out. You'll get nothing and the judges will laugh at you. Trudeau might spare you his middle finger.

There are too many Indian immigrants. Canada has lost it's diversity we once enjoyed.

It's not economic reasons. Face it people and STOP being naive and politically correct.\nIt a matter of lost identity and lost culture. Canada opened up its doors to a flux of people who are not willing to embrace the Canadian culture and identify. Rather, they demand to live in Canada as country within the country under their own culture. And that must change.

I have lost my respect for Canada. In fact i no longer consider myself a Canadian.
|

Canada was not anti immigration when the people coming were needed, they wanted to contribute, and they understood and assimilated into Canadian culture. Now they come, contributing nothing, straining our health care system, causing a housing crisis, and most importantly, bringing their culture and beliefs, displacing ours. Our veterans that fought for Canada and what being Canadian meant fought for nothing as too many of this current generation has no patriotism and cares nothing about Canadian culture. Thus, we lost our country without a fight.

Two migrants from Ghana crossed into Manitoba, Canada, from the USA in the middle of winter. They were not dressed for such a trip and suffered severe frostbite before they were noticed by a trucker after crossing into Canada. They spent weeks recovering in hospital. Iyal lost all his fingers but kept his thumbs, while Mohammed lost all his fingers and thumbs. The two were granted refugee status in 2017. So the medical care was paid for by the Canadian taxpayer, and, since you need your fingers for even the most menial job, chances are they are still being kept by the taxpayer. The US & Canada need a comprehensive policy on migrants

Many have extreme poverty here!! Many have lost jobs, but we wonder if illegals are being hired by corporations.\n\n They have enough money to fly here??\n\nIs the whole world in need of asylum? That seems strange, but then why isn't that being addressed? Im in India regularly...I haven't seen any changes, in fact they have Modi in place again, and are happy. They are after Muslims for what they are doing there. So there needs to be a serious vetting program in place here!\n\nRepublicans want to shut down benefits to citizens, but these guys are getting phones, housing, money cards for 1400.\n\nYes, this is a huge problem. Rural Canada never needed a wall...it's a friend of 'Merica.\n\n????????

I moved to the States when I was 10. I came back to Canada freakin obese. I was 450lbs overweight because of all the jumbo sized fast food that I ate in the States. Canada forced me to lose all that weight because the 3XL clothing is crazy expensive and their fast food is too small for a large meal. So I had to lose the weight and I lost 200lbs. in 10 years. You really don't see obese people in Canada. Canadians are very active and it's encouraging in my opinion.

P.S. The friendship thing is true about Canada in general. Canadians like to show good face and they're super friendly on the streets. But. When you actually try to get close to people, you quickly realize they're incredibly selfish and all about themselves. I've lost all my friendships recently (my choice), because I saw how toxic they were all becoming, and I've found trying to make new friends that they're just plastic copies of the old friends I had to get rid of. - From someone who was born and has lived in Canada for 36 years.

im witnessing the literal decline of canada first hand. as a canadian im trapped.i dont have enough cash to get out but my plan is to save up and leave soon. canada is a lost cause

I find this so distressing and alarming, we are quite literally watching Canada disappear before our very eyes. It used to be that immigrants would trickle in gradually, and people new to the country (like my own family a few generations back) would aspire to assimilate into the culture, adopt our values, and become Canadians. But these new immigrants are completely different… They want all the benefits that come from living & working in Canada, but have no interest in actually becoming Canadian. I walk around in my own city now and more than 50% of the people I pass by are speaking in foreign languages and make zero effort to learn or speak English. Indians are literally everywhere and completely dominate certain jobs and industries. This has all happened in the span of about 10 years too. I feel like an outsider in my own country, and I feel like this county has lost its identity completely ?

I thought this channel was started to spread positivity because there was apparently too much negativity. Yet, you guys spend an entire video speaking only negatively about a country. If someone from abroad had made a similar video about India you guys would have lost it. \n\nIf you guys were as critical about India and its politics as you were in this video then this country would have been so much better. Hope you guys now understand that just like you can sit in India and critic Canada anyone sitting anywhere can critic any country for its policies.

You guys are super right. Canada is totally lost the way of future. Indians are planning to return back due to above reasons….

Moved to Canada in 2016 with skills ( international exposure : UK and Taiwan ) but sorely disappointed to learn the harsh truth of job scarcity/ expenses right away. Lost my self confidence and accelerated my aging. I think there is a bigger sinister scheme behind attracting immigrants. Got my citizenship in 2021 and promptly moved out. ?People wait for citizenship to enjoy more rights, sadly I waited for citizenship to leave the country. Loved the land though.

This is Canada come on, why the hate, support newcomers...one day they will look after your lost relatives who want to immigrate here.

NO newcomers for two years….Immigration lost count of about one million! STOP this insanity….WE are paying the price and the worst is…..is that actual citizens are dying because of ridiculous wait times, I almost died and lost 127cm of small intestine that was twisting, because of wait times while my intestine was dying! NO…..we were NOT short of doctors and nurses, you flooded OUR Canada and still flooding them in! Deport scammers and stop the baby factory!! Can’t wait for the Honourable Pierre to be OUR PM and we must demand deportation of newcomers that are scamming and here illegally! OUR Canada, OUR rules, OUR laws and OUR traditions! Fit in or leave…..quite simple!

i’m watching this from eastern canada, and i’m living on the street starting in a week. being too disabled to work while in university, i’ve been trying to live off of student loans— i’ve lost 25% of my total body weight in 6 months, from starvation due to food prices. \ncanada may not be proudly and openly committing genοcide to indigenous populations anymore, but… we’re still being killed by the state, or trafficked and killed by the settlers.\n\nto any prospective immigrant who isn’t white: canada is a place where dogs are treated much better than brown-skinned people, who are treated equal to or better than the indigenous people of this land that canada loves to say it cares so much about. \n\nreconciliation is dead as long as the colonial government is alive, killing us.

I wanted so badly to become a Canadian but sadly, after living in Vancouver for 1.5 years, it became apparent that staying in BC would mean never being able to afford to start a business (let alone buy a house) and that making friends was not something locals were interested in doing. I discovered that Canadians were exceedingly polite and helpful to others in the community, but not friendly. The difference is someone being kind enough to return a lost wallet (with the money/cards still in it!! WOW) or phone but won't invite you to their homes, join friend groups, or social circles. Side note.. I also learned that I prefer more overt racism than the polite version experienced in Canada. At least you know where you stand with someone..

Used to be if you wanted to come to Canada you had to have a certain amount of money! I think that should be the case as well as also educated. Australia had a point system and its very hard to immigrate there, we should have that too. Lets stop dumbing everything down! Immigrants come and they come from 3rd world countries and they then offer their serves at lower standards. I used to house clean, I was a single mom with 3 kids and I made a good living. I lost a few jobs to NANNIES who were hired to take care of kids only and before I knew it they were cleaning the house and I was let go. Now those nannies could have just looked after their kids. They didn't even get more money to clean the house. Screwed me out of work and gave them selves more work without more pay! I see it in the Massage Therapy industry too, they post rates a lot lower than the going rate! Janitor serves, truck driving, all are being dumbed down and lower quality! Franshises all being bought out and having major health issues with food quality...dumbing it down to their country of origin!! Im so sick of it all.

Canada is a country that has brain drain being so close to the US. Since Trudeau Gotti lactaid we have lost so many great people. A lot of people leave because of the weather and all of those people immediately leave when they can. After that it's people who have a talent in a specialized field but a lot of them are going too. Canada has a brain drain problem and our government is bringing in massive numbers of low educated people to make up for the brain drain.

The problem with Canada is simple: Trudeau was a graduate of Klaus Shawb’s Young Global Leaders. Canada is economically going under water deliberately to serve the globalist agenda. He literally pulled the biggest bait and switch in Canadian history after covid. It will only get worse. Canada has lost all of its spark and global repute since Trudeau.

All immigrants must comply with Canadian laws. Failure to do so should face the consequences of deportation. There should be no excuses. Wow how many lives were lost and families scarred for life and this man has rights to keep fighting to stay in Canada. It is time Canada moved more central politically and demand the respect of every immigrant. Follow Australias lead. If you were not invited then live within the country' rules or leave. Too many arrivals are deally just scamming born Canadians of all cultures. Time to wake up Canada...

Canada lets psychopath killers roam free everyday that have intentionally killed people. Those killers are allowed to walk free among us and can legally change their name so nobody knows who they are or what they’ve done. This man made a mistake, many lives were lost , but, he has owned up to it, shown remorse and should not be deported. He didn’t use the insanity plea he choose to face it head on. He deserves to stay in Canada.
|

Well you people came to Canada and you don’t even belong here you belong to Europe, so why don’t you go get yourself lost?
|

What a bunch of hateful trolls on here. Yes he made a big mistake. He owned up to it. He will be a good citizen for years to come in Canada. And for those who lost love ones in that crash. Is it going to make you feel better, will you get on with your lives, will you be happier because he got deported. Maybe forgive the man. Release that anger that is bottled up in you. Guarantee you will feel better in the long run.
