I don’t agree with Quebec as a whole being up so high on the list. They have their own tax and medical system , much higher cost. You must have your children in a unilingual French School unless you have substantial proof that they have a solid English background. English speakers for the most part are ostracized in most of Quebec except some areas of Montreal. All government work places speak only French and there are no English rights in Quebec unless you work for the government of Canada and then good luck getting a job in Quebec as they are designated a unilingual French language speaking province for Canadian government jobs and you won’t qualify unless you speak and read and write French. All signage is restricted to French and the province doesn’t follow any international standards. Even the air traffic controllers only speak French which is why most major airlines don’t fly into Quebec as the standard of language for them is English world wide except Quebec. They have different road rules, tax legislation and pension than the rest of Canada. Wouldn’t want to live there myself. I have a sister in Montreal. Don’t know why she stays.

The point is, I have been a minority here in india and the hate I receive for being a follower of a religion make them hate on me and my fellow people. I really wanna get out of this shithole. I'm also feeling very suicidal thinking about the situation I'm in. I live 8 hours away from St. John’s Newfoundland and we get pretty good weather for the most part. Sure we get tons of snow in the winter but we don’t get fog everyday our summers are actually really nice. This guy probably searched up some info on St. John’s and thinks the whole island is like that.. I’ve been in every province and love them all Canada is the best country in the world and I’m proud to call it home

Lived my whole life practically in Ottawa ..not going to lie I hated it! I left 5 months ago to paterson jersey, than from there to Florida..and now I'm residing back home in Dominican. In October I will be headed back to Ottawa ..in all honestly I would much rather live in Naples Florida ! Govt of Canada is a joke ! I have lived in Canada for 30 years. Things back then in 1989 were almost perfect. Housing, cost, jobs, healthcare. It's now getting worse and worse and no positive signs ahead. In the last 10 years until now, if you're sick ending up in hospital, be prepared to wait for a whole day for your turn. There were cases people waited too long to be treated and died (true story). Gasoline price now is $1.34/litre, the highest price in 30 years. Buses don't have transfer ticket like before. Everytime you change the bus to reach your destination you have to pay. Bus ticket costs $3.50 each. Food price is skyrocketing. Internet, cellphone plan cost you at least $60 per month. Salary doesn't increase high enough to cover higher cost of living. I can't wait to leave Canada. Hopefully I save enough money in 5 years.

Canada has lots of programs allowing you to immigrate ‘easily’, but in my case Ircc simply lost my file and there’s absolutely nothing I can do about that. Some pll are lucky some are not, but the whole immigration process here is a chaos

I do not mean to be negative here but anyone of you who is well settled outside Canada, don't come to Canada!, unless you want to do labor work. I know people who have done Masters in Software engineering are working in a Pizza shops. If there is one job opening there are 10 thousand applicants for the same job. Companies showing fake jobs to satisfy govt. pressures. Automated refusals replies of your job applications are common.\n People get hired on sources and within companies. Racism exists, results are killings every now and then. Go and watch news channels like CP24. Thieves are here. Things do get stolen. Recently mass graves are found near schools in multiple areas of small children of indigenous people who were tortured and killed by white supremacy in the past. Burlington where he lives has $2800 to $3000 rent monthly for a house. Go check online! Price of buying a home is in millions of dollars. Go check real estate.
