What is wrong with other countries? Everyone wants to come to the USA. Why Isn’t Mexico modernized yet. A whole beautiful country. people dying to get to the USA. Take care of your own country, USA looks like a dump , roads , schools housing , airports, piles of trash piled aside railroad tracks, it’s pitiful , gas , food , utilities sky high. What’s wrong with the leaders of these countries, take care of our own soldiers been homeless since Vietnam, the ones who haven’t died already. America can’t take care of their own, let alone everyone else. Give the citizens of USA a break. Enough already.

I’d say more than half of the people that come to canada we don’t fuckin want. No skills, ignorant people that try to make Canada like their old home country. Canada bends over for them too just for them to disrespect the place. Fucking unreal. Get Trudeau out of here. Getting ridiculous. I’m soon going to try and move to the US if this problem keeps getting worse.

If you get pulled over and have 3 people in the car with you and the cop finds cocaine, and nobody fesses up to it. They all can be charged. Soooooooooo. The problem with Canada? Too much socialism, regulation and taxation.\nAs the government fails at socialism (as all governments do) , they start to spend more, getting increasingly greedy for people's money. As this happens the public notices that they aren't doing so well, and start to place blame on the rich.\nThe government happily increases taxes on businesses.\n\nBusinesses in response either;\n- Close down\n- Increase prices\n- Cut jobs\n- Reduce wages\n- Move overseas\n\nIncreasing taxes on Businesses has resulted on less money than the government expected, but the government doesn't want to reduce spending...so they increase taxes on everyone else.\n\nThis is what's happened on so many western countries.\n\nBut lets bring on that global corporation and wealth tax! What could go wrong?!

The problem here is everybody is blaming these poor people that want to come over for a better life and opportunity to get away from a corrupt government that has them in poverty, with no hope of prospering! I don't know why every other country wants to come to america like america is great. americans are working just to be broke. it's shame 1 job isn't enough to take care of ourselves. 2 jobs is just getting by. And if you want to have a high paying job you have to work your ass off for that. going to school and earning degrees but then you have to work to pay school fees as well. America is really not that great.

Well made. Wish I had this info atleast a decade ago. I’m one of the Sanjay. Immigrated to US in 2008 from India. In the green card queue for 10 years. Not sure if I get it in my lifetime. I have a foreign born daughter who I brought here when she was only few months old. She might have to self deport in a few years when she is 21. This is her home and only country she knew.\n\nThe US immigration system is cruel for people like Sanjay. But every politician knows this problem after our advocacy efforts but nobody wants to touch it. They only want our tax $$$ ..

Now would probably be the worst time for people to come to the West. Food and housing is really expensive. Regular folks are struggling in this economy. It’s predicted to get even worse. I feel sorry for those who are trapped. Working several hours a day for low pay. Not wanting to disappoint their parents or telling them it was all a scam after their family sold everything to get them an education.

Wow, they get $ 50.000 tax free dollars the first year…must be nice, I wish I made that much money. And the also get 25,000 tax free dollars to set up their house …I never got that! and they also get the child tax free benefit too…..if they have 8-10kids wow ..they are making over six figures tax free ..free dental, free RX….I have to work hard for that! No freebies for the hard working Canadian tax payers! No wonder they all want to come to Canada …the land of milk and honey and easy money…why work? She forgot to mention that a lot of refugees never pay back the money for their air fare costs to come here ..ever! A lot of them complained when they had to go on welfare after a year…a drop on income…..oh no …maybe they have to go out in the cold to work everyday…..no , just have another kid or two…why work right. We are packed in Texas, I'm struggling to buy food and keep my apartment. What do these people want to be here so bad. I'm tired of working two jobs and my taxes go to these people when they get here and apply for assistance. There is nothing here go back. We are dealing with our own problems.We can't help.

What I think. as a Canadian, makes us proud, and other wanting to move here, is our laid back, don't give a SHIT (until you make us) attitude. Where it is less populated we get to know our neighbours better as well. It's easy to negatively judge someone's religion, culture, etc... if you do not know them. :-)

How can America keep taking them in, it cost so much money to house them.Many Americans need help and are homeless. Veterans are homeless, and many people in poor areas need job's, food etc. I want to see everyone get help, but America must help their own first.

This is unfair, I waited and spent a lot of money and followed the rules to migrate here from the Philippines. My relatives, who are nurses and teachers, wanted to migrate here to the US, too, but it's hard to do it. Yet they let these people who have no background check will be freeloader and can't speak English, yet they Government let them in. Why choose this kind of people instead of people who will contribute to the economy rather than freeloaders. I don't get it.

Well, let's shift. They can enter USA but all the libs trying to justify that this is good, can go invade Mexico. We get more people to build roads and work for minimum wage and also get rid of the brainwashed self entitled liberals who don't want to work but keep demanding stuff for free and robbing stores. Why do I feel Biden is to blame. On the surface. But you know who is really to blame, Castro. Castro communism has destroyed and destabilized all of America beginning in 1959. Why is it such a problem for people to want to move somewhere else I feel like the whole world should be free to go where they want when they want as long as they are doing no harm to anyone else I mean they want to come and live here and get jobs and suffer like the rest of us then why is that a bad problem.

I feel like this video is a perfect analogy for the differences between the two immigration systems. If you want to get rich, you take your chances on the US and its lottery system. But if you're more interested in quality of life (better education and healthcare systems), then Canada is the better choice. Housing prices are an issue in both countries, and work from home is helping alleviate for many tech workers. \n\nNeither option is right or wrong, just which option is right for you.

America should be proud that these people desire to go to America to be free and to flee from Police corruption and political corruption. So stop thinking that these people are taxing your resources, they may do short term just to help them settle in, but in the long term they are asset's. These people will get employment, pay taxes, start businesses, employ people etc. Think of the glass half full and not half empty. Stop hating on these immigrants as you did with the Irish and welcome them, give them a chance, and be proud that they want to come and live in America to get away from their shitty country and try build a future for their children. The government wants to increase their country's population to at least 100 million, and that isn't possible with Canada being one of the numerous countries experiencing a decline in baby's being born. And the new immigrants are to hopefully prevent the time in the future when Canada has too many old people, but not enough caretakers and young people to tax.

I hate this so much. I know it’s not these peoples fault that their countries aren’t helping them but America isn’t even helping its own people. Imagine how it feels to be from the US struggling and then these people come and somehow our country has the means to help them when they won’t not can’t won’t help their own. What other country do you know of where you can just decide to cross their boarder demand help and say you know what I’m just going to live here illegally now. And if we don’t help them they have all kinds of ways to sue the state and demand help even though they’re not even citizens. That’s what’s crazy to me. They make you do a bunch of stuff before you can travel and some countries won’t even let you visit let alone live there with or without a criminal record but these people can just walk right in. Any countries borders are important they are there for protection. Ours are not being protected which means the country is not protected. I just don’t see this turning out well for anybody, not them not us. There is a scene from the titanic that I’d like to relate this situation to. The scene where Roses mom is in the boat with that other lady who has new money the chubby one. She wanted to let people on the boat that were drowning around her, and dude wouldn’t let her. It wasn’t because he was being mean it was because if people started holding onto the boat and trying to get on the boat they would panic, and eventually everybody would swarm the boat. So I’m going to echo a lot of the other comments here regarding gun violence. The number ONE cause of death to children is gun violence. Not illness,not car accidents, not poverty or abuse…GUNS. \nBut here is what I found so strange. I’ve never walked into a place of business in Canada that was so clearly diverse. I went into a ladies clothing store and everyone stopped and looked at me like “what are you doing here” I’m white and everyone else was black. And I was like “ what is going on” I thought, is this a thing? My friend had the same experience. He walked into a barber shop, he’s white and all the men were black. He didn’t get it either. In both cases we were treated very well and when they realized we were Canadian we all understood the situation. Because in Canada that just wouldn’t happen. The sad fact is they think America is great and they want to come over, yeah the men come and work but the women stay home and get on food stamps. We can't even take care of our people

H-1B visas are used by corporations to undercut American wages. Why hire an American with the same qualifications when you can use the visa to hire an immigrant for cheaper? Businesses don't have a shortage of skilled workers, they just don't want to pay a fair wage and would rather pay an immigrant less and get away with it because the immigrants are desperate. Universities accross the country are filled with American born students but why do we have or need the H-1B visa?

Guys a simple request to everyone hearing this podcast. Incorporate only positive takeways from this podcast like creating more wealth. I have been watching your videos and i get lots of insight about the immigration processes to Canada. Thank you. However there’s one thing i want you to address as well. That’s can someone submit two applications at the same time? For example, if one submit an application for Atlantic Immigration Program to get a job in the respective Atlantic provinces, then at the same time, submit another application for a student visa, are there any advantages or consequences? Assuming you first obtained the student admission confirmation, and decide to proceed with that, Will you be denied student visa bcos of your previous application for PR? I just need clarifications regarding this or similar scenarios. Because i learnt they retain information in their systems. Thank you

They have so much negativity when it comes to Americans but everyone wants to run here you're so proud of your country when you get here you fly fly your homeland flags well stay there and fight to make it better so you don't have to run here where you hate it as well

I'm currently a Chinese undergrad in the US on F1 (student visa) and my cousin is one of the lucky people who had a STEM OPT extension and got H1B on their first lottery. Witnessing her experience made me want to go to a Canadian grad school instead of an American one: she's been on her H1B for over 4 years without having been able to leave the country due to visa issues, yet she's nowhere close to getting a green card - she told me, just like those mentioned in the video, that she will move to Canada if there's still no sign of obtaining a green card in a couple of years.\nI'd also like to thank you for making this video and spreading awareness of how difficult the American system is. As international students, things about immigration are like second nature to us, and we often forget that most people in the country we're migrating to have no idea of the process.

All you have to do is join the army (almost any job not just combat ones) for a 2 year contract and you get citizenship and they can give you help financially for your family back home and you can help your family naturalise quicker too. Plenty of correct legal ways to do it if you really want to

I was born in Canada and studied here and it was harder to find a job in Canada than the US. Luckily, TN is far easier than H1B so I can at least work here temporarily. But if I wanted to stay for more than 3-6 years, I’d want to look at a green card. But because TN is non-immigrant, I’d have to stay in the US between applying for a green card and getting it. Luckily, there is not much of a wait for Canadians. And I guess given that H1B people need permission to leave, our ability to leave and comeback however much we want is a luxury (though you could always get a difficult officer)
