Our economy doesn't need more cheap labour, it needs more well paid labour. We need the price of housing to come down and that means lower population density. If businesses can't find enough employees then boohoo, PAY MORE. Replace the minimum wage with a living wage if you want to grow our economy and population, rather than the pocketbooks of the rich while they scab off the new cheap labour and continue paying meager wages that are getting our economy nowhere but benefit them greatly. This is cultural genocide and you need to stop, NOW! You don't see us burdening India with an additional 500,000 political refugees per year, now do you? They wouldn't allow it. We shouldn't either. I am angry about it and I hate my government for being such horrible sell-outs while throwing Canadians under the bus for a business bribe. I'm never paying taxes again. NO TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION! What a s^%t hole fascist country we have become. it appears I was never appreciated and my hard work here was for some foreigner to get ahead, not me. As someone who was an international student in Canada, failed and came back, I’m surprised to see this. What were these people expecting? If you can’t afford to send your child to an international college, don’t do it. If you have to take a loan and put everything you have at risk. If your kids are supposed to work to cover their expenses. How tf is a teenager supposed to work AND study at the same time, living in a foreign country alone, having no one close. It’s the families responsibility to do their research, what does the country has to do with poor financial decisions of a certain group of people? I watched the first 9 minutes only, though.

You need to redo your video, dude! You underplayed Alberta and overplayed Quebec and Ontario. Alberta was the only province to keep its books balanced during Trudeaus tyrannical reign of covid and crime is wayyyy lower than others. Also, yes it is an oil province but it was squashed by Ottawa and still came out on top. It's better living for families, jobs vary in high paying between the two main cities and the people are very down to earth and friendly. People have been fleeing the east to Alberta for its freedom from government overreach as well. So, you're out of touch here by a lot. Alberta has deserts, beaches, more gorgeous mountain ranges than BC, farmland, glaciers that never melt despite the globalists so called maniac calls of global warming, as much sunshine as Saskatchewan, forests with many trails and campgrounds, the list goes on. I was born in Ontario, lived in almost every province but by far Alberta is number 1. If you want the juiciest steaks that melt off your fork and onto your tongue it's world best! It's industry is kept here and not finished somewhere else like every other province. Not to mention, farms sell and produce every food and craft beer/ liquor at their gates! Alberta has survived zero taxing its citizens until federal taxes came into here through NDP and Liberals, education is the best in all levels, and the people and governments are more sane and level headed now more than ever. The best rodeos worldwide and festivals count everyday in Edmonton. Who does that? It's self sufficient on its own and is the crown jewel of Canada. It's got multiple canyons all through the rockies! Wapiti are protected and plentiful in parks and if you want the best fudge, go to Jasper! Candy shops fan their delicious aromas down the streets! The most beautiful lakes in the world are in those rockies! The images from mountains are mirrored year round in those numerous lakes! It's picturesque postcard images! Economy is better than others and although rents and costs of homes vary all over you can still get a pretty decent city dwelling or cabin by one of its many cottage home communities that have more to offer for families than any in Ontario with low fees, outdoor and indoor pools, playgrounds, golfing and more. Then there's West Edmonton Mall where you can spend just window shopping 8 hours of not even going to Fantasyland, Galaxyland and more. \nYou will see men in business suits sitting next to actual cowboys/ girls in bars and restaurants. Edmonton uses goats to trim their weeds and high grasses every summer accompanied by a sheep herder and mosquitoes are ZERO nearly. Then the sunlight doesn't quit until 11pm at night and up again at 5am in summer.\nAlberta has tons to offer.

If you are an immigrant and choose to live in the GTA or Greater Vancouver area, dont be suprised to see expensive costs of living. Canada is more than these two areas.

The only problem I see is creating a false demand and rosy picture to lure them. I have seen students here who don't even speak a proper sentence of English. And the logic you have to understand you are coming to Canada which requires English speaking attributes

For me if you come to a small community college is not easy. Like this people who come straight with no background sometimes even small family own store may not even hire you. Nowsaday jobs in canada is need at least 6 month experience or a certification that you actually did some hands on activity completed in the course. I also agree with some comments research before you come here. Many Indian student are so eager to get a job but without at least a 6 months experience need not easy. That is why sometimes I see many student suffer but in my opinion you have to know why you come here in the first place.

So I think Canada is ranked 3rd best in the world to live in (I might be wrong but it's top 5 for sure). Your speaking about nothing to do in Canada, Health care concerns, high taxes or cost of living and other things (honestly your video was just hurting my head listing to). While Canada does have issues (like any other country in the world) What you outline highlights the privileged life you are living. You are correct in pointing out that the health care system is flawed, it is not perfect by all means but AT LEAST YOU ARE GETTING HEALTH CARE. Take the stats for example (I had the privilege of going to the hospital in Texas) My bill came to 3000 for a twisted ankle. They charged me over 500 dollars just for walking into the hospital. I'm not knocking that stats, but if you do not have money, you're fucked for health care. Instead of waiting 8 hours to see a doctor, you're now on Web MD trying to diagnose yourself. You are bitching about high taxes, how do you think Schools, Police and fire services, Emergency service hospitals etc etc etc get paid? through wishes and hope? You are again welcome to go anywhere else and enjoy whatever bs they have going they might have low taxes in other parts of the world but your going to have to pay for certain services you are taking for granted here. As Cost of living, if you live in Toronto or BC yes the cost of living is high, but at the same time, the average household income is high as well. I'm sorry minimum wage in most of Canada is roughly 15 dollars an hour, and the average incoming for most provinces is over 100k. I'm not sure what else to say on that subject :D As for things to do, seriously, stop living under a rock. Please go and travel Canada, to name a few things you can travel to Niagara, Go to Banff, Visit hot springs or enjoy any of our national parks. Not to mention all the multicultural festivals that take place. I guess what I'm trying to say here is, Canada is flawed and has its issues. However, It's a beautiful country and is a gem of a place to put roots down. I'm sorry you guys didn't feel that way.

Wait until we see if we shake the current tyrannical government we have here in Canada. As it is, the PM can lock you up and freeze your bank account if you say something he doesn’t like. I think it’s also important for them to say they don’t consider moving back or moving back in the near future if they want to naturalize as Canadians. I was born and raised in Canada. My family immigrated in the 70s. Growing up I was proud to be Canadian but after living in other parts of the world I can tell you, Canada isn't it! \n\nFirstly our Prime Minister is a puppet he works for the Commonwealth and whatever they say goes, they profit off all of your hard work. \nThey keep you sick so you rely on the health care system. Medicate you instead of solving the problem. Doctors are exhausted, rude and over worked, emergency rooms are a disaster and if you book an appointment to see your doctor...be sure you're waiting at least a week. If you go to a walk in clinic you risk getting a doctor that seems like they paid for a fake degree.\n\nYou know when you go to a mall in one town and then hear about a mall in another town that has really cool different things??? Ya, not here! Everything is monopolized! Same stores everywhere you go. there's a mall in Toronto called Vaughn Mills mall, when I was in Calgary they have an exact replica just a different name. Small businesses are hard to keep because everything is so expensive. Yes, I love Canada but the taxes are crazy! We only visited and paid multiple taxes on items, was crazy. Eight hours to see a doctor in ER isn't bad, here in America you can be in the ER for 24 hours or longer depending on why you are there and which hospital you go to, so please don't go to a county hospital, I have left went home or to another one. We learned that the cost of living is much higher and the cost of food, especially if you eat out, and the cost of gas was way higher than in America.Thanks for the information, very informative.

It sounds so dumb seeing two Nigerian ladies complain about standard of living in Canada while their own country is 1000000 times worse. What I see in Canada is that lots of people have an employee mentality. Many of them make a good income, but they spend their money on stupid things, like nice cars, expensive phones, fancy restaurants, trips, etc. How can they expect to build wealth if they basically flush their hard-earned money down the toilet? It's true that housing and food are expensive in Canada, but that's basically all you need to live. The rest of your income can be used to create businesses and more income streams, but no people prefer their 9 to 5 job and watch non-sensical TV shows after that.

These two are two of the most ungrateful people that you ever had to displeasure of seeing if that's the case why don't you get health care and become rich in your own Homeland instead of running..... Check out the UK, over a million people not being able to afford heat last winter. Electricity is going to rise now in October then again in January. It is a second rent we will be paying, no joke!!! Health System is a disaster here. Our NHS is not getting the support they need to be good. Food prices is sky rocketing we see food banks coming up all over the place with long queues. I hear from others in other countries, that are going through the same thing. I don't think you are alone. The entire world is going through something right now and the people are sadly suffering in silence. It is a sad situation and very difficult. I don't think it's a Canada situation only.

Really? I just read an article recently that Canada's population growth rate is the highest in more than 30 years. There are also several published articles which showed that across various metrics for healthcare, the U.S. was the most expensive, but ranked the worst in terms of outcomes when compared with other industrialized countries with universal healthcare (including Canada). I live in the U.S., and I can tell you delays (and we're talking months) in being able to see specialists or your primary care physician is very common. Google the name Wendell Potter, and see what you find.

Ummmm.. you sound like you moved to 1 city and making your analogy. I am american and lived in Canada for 30 years of my life. Florida a 1 bedroom is 2400 and at best you can get a 800 Sq ft for 15. Got forbid you get sick in America you go bankrupt. You get paid more in the states... lol some states minimum wage is 5 to 7 dollars. Every country has a staffing problem in medical field. If you want to save your wealth, you should have a TFSA. The reason why Canada's cost of living is high is that the interest rates are too low. It built an unreal housing market. It is no different in the U.S. I find it concerning those immigrants in Canada who complain about healthcare, all I can say is, if you take care of yourself and plan carefully for your own healthcare, it will work. If you want to see waste, incompetence, and extreme costs, you need to visit the U.S. as a resident for a while. Sounds like you ladies should leave.

Now, here’s my points: You are young and you have dreams and ambitions, which I see fine BUT be careful what you are wishing for, you may get it!!! It’s great to be in a country that cares about their citizens health and well-being!!! Also, these tax costs help to destroy the Poor-Family-Status!!! Meaning, nobody goes to starvation because government got your back. I think it’s a great place for working class family that want to live a normal live and not worries on how they will end up when they grow old. Healthcare is very expensive for the individual. You pay and pay and pay then when you go to use it. You only have access to 2/3 of proper care.\nCanada has endless entertainment and fun things to do. Depends on what you enjoy doing. If you are into outdoor activities Canada has them all. You would have to travel otherwise to enjoy. Canada has deserts forests lakes oceans and every environment in between. Get out touch grass. I can see why you say it's boring if you do not use the environment around you. But that's your own fault refusing to see it. You get used to the cold. It's better if you dress for it and also go enjoy the outdoors.

My family and I moved to Canada in 2010 under the FSW program, and we don't regret it. I agree with some of the points mentioned by the two ladies but again, it all depends on the person's perspective and experience. As for me, I was able to land a job that conforms to my educational attainment and didn't need more schooling since IT is the same wherever you go. Yes, we pay more taxes but we see where it is going. My son had free education until grade 12 and we have universal healthcare that other countries are trying to imitate. There are of course pros and cons to residing in a country but you always have the choice to leave and find your best nest somewhere.

It also depends where in Canada you live. In Ontario I'd sometimes wait 12 hours to see a doctor at the hospital. Coupled with the amount of racism and hate that's building over there. I have since moved to BC and at the hospital I'm usually seeing a doctor within 15-25 minutes. Plus people are overwhelmingly less hostile. The coast doesn't have quite as frigid winters either.

BC is not the warmest province in Canada. It has the most moderate weather in Canada, so it's normal weather is not too hot and not too cold. Of course the weather seems to be changing every where now and they are seeing more extreme weather.

No wonder my friend from Canada doesn’t see any essence of going back. He is enjoying life in Kenya, fact that his wife is black and Kenyan. I see them visiting for thanksgiving and that’s it, they always come back to the motherland.
