“That other border”? Put some respect on the name “America” it’s the Canadian border. ?\nThe woman’s never been to Canada but for some reason thinks it’s better than the states. That’s odd.

People saying they’re nice and polite. I mean why would they be rude? These people are not committing a serious crime. They’re simply seeking help and a better life. Immigration in Canada is not as bad as the US so chances are these really are hard working people.

why doesnt Canada welcome these migrants? afterall they are just wanting a better life, right? Canada is a big land with a small population and can certainly house so many more migrants that the US can.

Hi there gal we don’t say guys, it’s sexist!\n\n \n\nInteresting take on your move to the great white north.\n\nI can imagine coming from Russia to Canada was a shock.\n\nYou have pointed out so many things that are so normal in the west.\n\nAs I have never lived in Russia, I have no idea what it must be like there.\n\nJudging by your reaction to your observations of Canada Russia must be so\n\nmuch easier place to live..?\n\nYour comments on homeless, work-market, tax system etc. gives me the impression that\n\nthe Russian system must be so much better…?\n\nFrom my experience from living in numerous western countries, I regard Canada as average.\n\nThe UK and the USA are awful places to live. Although this is not the case if you have money, same as anywhere else. The same can be said if you are poor life is an awful struggle.\n\nWell except in Russia…?\n\n \n\nI have stayed in Canada on numerous occasions and I have never experienced any real cultural clashes.\n\nWell some of the newer Canadians seem to think that if anything goes against them it’s discrimination. Moreover, some of the newer Canadians are very racist towards the more established immigrants i.e. who have been living there for more generations.\n\nThe fact that some companies have “white” non-immigrant boards is reflection on the competence factor. I have experienced companies that have employed new Canadians with non-western backgrounds that are totally disasters because they have no idea about the work culture, language, way of treating staff etc.\n\nI think that you YT page is like a lesson about how immigrants from non-western countries perceive and misinterpret the west’s work culture, society and culture.\nHave experienced some new immigrant bosses who are so elitist and discriminating i resigned. Wrote review about the company on LINKEDIN.\n\n\nDon’t expect that there is any discrimination in Russia…?

You cannot come to Canada on a tourist visa to apply for a job. You can learn about the job market, or come if you are invited for an interview by a Canadian employer, but not apply with the intention of not going back home, if you are entering with a tourist visa.\n\nIt is possible for foreign citizen young adults to work in Canada in certain sectors like tourism, but this doesn't put you on the path to citizenship. \n\nThe best way immigrate is is to learn about the job needs (like healthcare) and to get those qualifications in your country, if possible. Many times, you can read about this in the job postings on the internet. You should also avoid colleges that are set up for foreign students to get their student visa, and which don't have any Canadian students (of which there are many). The government is making it harder for these graduates to stay in the country. Moreover, if you are not well educated, you won't make enough money to be able to afford the high cost of living in a large city like Toronto or Vancouver. You would be better to be a licensed electrician or tradesperson and work in more remote areas or central Canada. Canada admits many immigrants very year, and if you are not well qualified, you will be competiting with these workers for work, with lower pay and job security, in sectors like food service and day-care.

Yes definitely Canada is better than usa
2023-03-20 0
Canada is the better choice. If I was an immigrant I would shoot for that. They have tons of social programs.
2023-03-20 0
Does no one feel weird about the fact that these immigrants don’t want to stay in America? That they feel Canada will be better for them

I’m Colombian and it’s sad to see people from my country lying to the authorities to get documentation. \nI know everyone wants a better life and definitely my country is not the best place for low /middle income families; however, we should understand that US or Canada have no obligations to legalize anyone. There are already so many problems to handle in their territories and with their citizens.

So there is an open pathway where people can enter Canada and be arrested into better conditions than in their home country. What could go wrong.
2023-03-20 0
Lemme get this straight. South American migrants are trying to enter the USA in mass, others are leaving the USA to Canada as refugees, while people are leaving Canada to USA for better opportunities. Meanwhile both Canada and USA need more immigrants... What's going on here. ??
2023-03-20 0
Reason to claim Refugee status: I feel I can have a better quality of life in Canada instead of staying in the US
2023-03-20 0
39k last year? Oh man, how will you ever recover from so many? I sure do hope 2.5 million don't go there, cause you guys are so nice and not racist like America. Much better opportunities in Canada.
2023-03-20 0
Sad, really. America is now to Canada as Mexico has been to the US. Just another border to a better life.
2023-03-20 0
Lol usa is still better than canada, many my countrymen leaving canada and go to us or australia
2023-03-19 0
Compare to southern border, it’s nothing.\nImmigrants should go to NY or Canada, so they get treat better. Especially NY or blue states are welcome for immigrants.
2023-03-19 0
Is Canada ?? better than America ?? ? just curious ??
2023-03-19 0
Canada has better beer nicer people than America.
2023-03-19 0
God blessed those who search for a better life. Reminding me of our ancestors. Asylum in Canada should be those poor people who need a helping hand and not economic assets asylum like dirty money. Forfeit profits from crime should be our priority. These bad actors need to be removed from our society. We don’t need them.
2023-03-19 0
Automatically deportation back to the country of origin would be a better policy for the US and Canada. We should have put a no vacancy sign up right after WWII.
2023-03-19 0
Canada way better than the US
2023-03-19 0
Then you have fkd up Canadian Gov't who wants to deport students who paid their tuition and taxes while working back to their countries. \n\nIllegal immigrants and refugees have better chances that people who try to get to Canada through proper channel!!!
2023-03-19 0
Don't worry guys turdeau will take care of you ! better than if you were Canadians ! Summer is around the corner...... watch the next waves of illegal migrants ! Those poor people have cellphones they talk to each other.... Oh Canada !!
2023-03-19 0
If there in America already. Let them stay there. You can not go through America just to get to Canada. Just stay in America. Seek Asylum there. Canada is falling apart. Foreigners are better off in America.
2023-03-18 0
are we supposed to feel sorry for economic migrants gaming the system, looking-for the best deal”I think I will have a better quality if life in Canada”; TRUE REFUGEES FROM WAR, PERSECUTION:yes, every person who wants a better deal—sorry get in line and apply for visas. STOP THE INSANITY AT BOTH-BORDERS . I am a life long dem and sick of this BS.
2023-03-18 0
Well, Canada is WAY better than the United Sh**hole Of America.
2023-03-18 0
Can’t wait to visit Canada again…atleast this time there will be better food like tacos, burritos and other latin food. ??
2023-03-18 0
Having lived in the US for sometime I can confidently tell you that Canada by far has a better quality of life than the US . \nThe US is just overrated .\nWelcome to Canada the land of hope !❤???
2023-03-18 0
just a matter of time and Canada will build a bigger and better wall than the great wall of China!
2023-03-18 0
I've lived in both. Canada is a better place to raise your family for sure, and as a society I think it's a better place to live. It's cleaner, safer, and more diverse (and I'm talking real diversity like Aba mentioned, not segregation). There's some cool stuff about the States, don't get me wrong, but my girlfriend (who is American and has visited Canada with me) and I are strongly contemplating moving to Canada. The US has a better night life culture generally speaking and like Aba said there's more to do, but generally speaking I just want a peaceful and simple life.

Immigrated to Canada many years ago as skill worker in the engineering field, and there were no opportunities in that country, Canada just needed laborers to fill out factories and people to do the jobs that the Canadian born did not want to do. I ended up working in my field in the USA, and salaries and opportunities are much better in this country. Americans are very practical, they just want someone with the right knowledge. When applying for jobs in Canada, employers were very obsessed with Canadian education and experience, but in my opinion, that was an intentional way to block immigrants. In the USA I was never asked for American education or experience, the interviews were very straightforward, very technical, they just wanted to verify technical knowledge. In conclusion, if looking for professional opportunities, the USA is much better than Canada, but legal immigration as a professional to the USA is extremely difficult.

& who the hell would wanna come here? like our government is destroying canada .... canada is not what it used to be at all like at all. so do your research before you move here cuz reality is were on a rocky path right now and its not gonna get any better anytime soon.
2023-03-18 0
Once the US takes a lead role in “helping “struggling countries “do better “,\n They will see a reduced number of migrants fleeing their countries to join US or canada
2023-03-18 0
They will not have something better lufe in USA or Canada, slavery only
2023-03-18 0
Fuck now Canada will become a major 1st world country \nWell I’m glad cause it’s better than other counties god bless those people
2023-03-18 0
Well Canada needs workers . Their economy will be better .
2023-03-17 0
Better welfare in Canada.
2023-03-17 0
I have nothing against Immigration. I am immigrant myself, but I sacrificed a lot and gave up a lot just to migrate to Canada for the hope of a better life. And since I am poor and can't afford to migrate as entrepreneur, I have to gave up my profession and worked as a live-in caregiver for years.\nLucky for those people, to just cross the border.
2023-03-17 0
Everyone come to Canada is better up here!!
2023-03-17 0
If you couldn't find a better life in Canada, you probably won't in USA
2023-03-17 0
The Canadian border police have to say that but they will let them in and care for them. I am a Canadian and I’ve had mixed feelings about it way back before I grew up. I’m 52 years old. These people are looking for better lives and there’s no reason that countries that have the resources can’t help them. I’m sorry I just feel like it’s our duty to take care of them. My family came from Europe in the war. If I was not let in here I mean my family I wouldn’t have this great life in Canada hope y’all can have compassion and we can all help each other.

Canadian judiciary system is a world laughing stocks. Criminals have better protections than normal citizens. The Trudeau Liberals need to be removed from governing Canada. They have allowed the China to open Chinese police stations all over Canada and meddling into the Canadian elections. Weak people shouldn’t be allowed to lead and govern.
2023-03-17 0
Why are you even coming to Canada for us? From a third world country I can understand but from us? You won’t find anything here that isn’t already in us. If anything is has it better than this 51st state of us.
2023-03-17 0
Poor bastards...they had a better life in their countries. Now they will see the reality of Canada
2023-03-17 0
TRUMP WAS RIGHT !!! LOOKS LIKE CANADA NEEDS TO BUILD THEIR WALL ALSO !!!! IMO, AN ELECTRIFIED WALL WOULD BE BETTER & SCARED OFF ILLEGALS !!! BRUTAL BUT TRUE !!!!
2023-03-17 0
I don’t understand. Why are people leaving the US? Is Canada even safer or better?
2023-03-17 0
Yeah Canada it's not perfect, no country is. But Canada is a still better than 99% of the countries out there.
2023-03-17 0
It's about time human beings realise we all need a better life, we need each other, I may be living my best life today, but tomorrow, I may be fleeing for a better life, safety for my life and my family. Its sad to watch some people, telling others to go back where they come from, forgetting that tomorrow it might be them, looking for help desperately. If the world were to be kind and loving, it would be a peaceful world to live in....Love your neighbour just as you would love yourself ??, Hope all those people find Canada as a home to live and make it into prosperous Country ??
