There are just too many immigrants being let in. I’m shocked at the amount of international students at my college. I feel like its almost 90% are international students trying to get PR and some of them can barely write properly. The quality of work being put out by the students makes me question the integrity of schools. So many of them don’t care about what they’re studying and put minimal effort. All they want is PR. They are not willing to adopt Canadian values and I see people pushing and shoving to get on public transport instead of being civilized. I think immigrants from 30 years ago were a different group. Most were refugees and wanted a better life and were willing to adapt to Canadian culture and adopt new values. But nowadays, the mass of immigrants coming in are very different. Many of them are wealthy and are here not to make a better life for themselves and contribute to Canada. They are here to get PR in order to get Canadian benefits as its much better than their own countries. Some want to be able to move to the US later on. They’re taking advantage of the system and it’s f*cking the country.

I'm not Indian, I'm indigenous from Canada and I grew up in Vancouver, where the population is mostly from Asia. Being surrounded by people of asian descent is very normal for me. I don't expect anyone to assimilate and lose their culture to exist here. I knew we had a large population of Sikhs here but I didn't think it was nearly as many as in India... and now I find out there are more sikhs here than in India. Amazing. I also didn't know we had so many Sikhs in parliament, let alone Indians. My school is mostly Indian and everyone I talk to has come from Punjab. Everyone seems to love it here, and the school is in the middle of little Punjab so I've been told by my classmates it is the perfect place for the students who are homesick because they are surrounded by their community. I rarely hear English when I walk down the halls, there is even a course to learn to speak Punjabi, which I want to take so I can talk to the students who don't speak English as well. We have many large gurdwaras, and one near me I've eaten langar almost everyday for the past 10 years. Most people here know Sikhs to be very generous and humble. It was a shock to me when I heard the president of Guru Nanak Gurdwara was shot, because I believed Sikhs to be very kind and peaceful, and the gurdwara has a very good reputation as they take lots of food into Vancouver and feed the homeless. They even opened a kitchen in the DTES during the pandemic to be able to have food available to the people immediately. No one else did anything like that. They delivered a lot of food. Now they have an auxiliary kitchen in the DTES permanently that serves free meals. I thought more news would come out of the shooting but it seemed quiet for a bit until Trudeau accused the Indian government of the attack. This news also shocked me, so I decided to start looking into it slowly. I couldn't really get a good idea of what was going on until I searched a video for Diwali and your videos came up. I will share it with my husband so he can be educated on the matter as well. Thank you for your diligent research and dissemination of important knowledge.

Canada is a country for less educated , low class peope from India. Someone who has no future in India can feel better in Canada as every kind of work or blue collar job pays well which will be impossible for them to make in India. If Canada is willing to recognize foreign credentials then why bother educating any Canadians at all in Canada? Why don't we just import all our teachers, nurses, doctors, etc. ? We'd save a lot of tax dollars not having to fund any Canadian universities.

To be honest, i have second thought as well of leaving Canada... i love Canada but i find it so hard to live.. not jist extremely cold weather during winter but you have to chase your hobbies as well and the way of living here is supee high... I am an islander..i came from a beautiful tropical island..and I really miss home so much..white sand beach, tuquoise water, whale watching,dolphin watching,island hopping,scubba diving, free diving , mountain hiking, and more... i really miss it..i am planning to settle my retirement back home...

Truth is that the immigration system has been a source of income and financial gain for the system but gives little back. Sadly many Canadians think the opposite is true. They think because refugees are given shelter while waiting for processing that means they receive support more than the locals. Truth is immigrants come here mostly on loans, spend years working and spending to support families back home, it takes years to understand the taxing, credit, wealth, education and many other resources that drives the Canadian community. This put immigrants in a position where they work more than the local just to meet the bare minimum life standards. If many of the immigrants knew the ins and outs of the system, then they would really take over and appreciate being in canada. \n\nCanadians and canada as a whole are welcoming. You might meet a few who have little knowledge of the global system and standard against immigrants, something that their countries economic system depends on. Exactly canada supposed to be what we are lacking in our country, i feel scamed I havent been able to work because, I developed a physical conditions in my colum vertevral that liter and. its taking my life quality and incapacitated me, No only the exams takes month or vene more than a year to have but my Specialist Doctor left Canada, and I was left hanging waiting for a new specilist, its been more than two months and nothing and more that 1 year trying to be diagnosed I am really frustrated and tired of this. And the govetrnment wants to brig more people and can even provide services for the ones that are here. This is somenthing they dont tell when they sell their life style to lure more people into coming here. i dont understand how como Canadians dont complain more about health system they seem to be proud of it even if it doesnt work at all. and Its not free they take alot of tax from my paycheck when I was working.

The economy, increased emphasis on MAID (i.e. death) over extensive medical care, and the new sociopolitical atmosphere of hating immigrants to Canada from the 16th century onward are definitely major factors. When people were encouraged to come and work in numerous professions all across Canada for centuries, it was not difficult to retain immigrants. The virtues of hard work and supporting your family were valuable treasures, but now there is much less emphasis (even some discouragement) concerning these things today. I am praying for our nation to turn itself around.
