Another issue is that some white families have sold off or abandoned their family homes in once vibrant community's because they have refused to live with other people of color who happen to move in. Then black communities build up over say 50 to 75 years a great community, their own churches , schools, day cares, playground, crime watch and near jobs and easy transportation suddenly others with money wish to expand in those same areas. So taxes go up. Fire insurance goes up. Schools are closed down due to so called lack of budgets. Factory's move out farther. And or new higher technologies come in only looking for a few or certain type of trained skilled workers with higher educational degree's. All of these complex events cause the death of a functional great long standing community. By the time others come and say hey, where are the kids, where is the small local business and the great gardens, farmer markets or book clubs, libraries, community workshops, and black church's giving out food? Trust me its not such a simple answer. Many many other forces are at play. Entire sections of the city and rural areas have gone through displacement.

He just told you what one problem is. Immigration. Immigration has continued but house building can't keep up. They should have acted years ago but all the foreign money being brought in to the big cities has put them out of reach. That's only the tip of the iceberg. We need immigration but what numbers I'm not sure?? Maybe the answer is tradesmen to catch up on the building trades and bring costs down? The biggest problem though is the deficit financing leading to inflation. Like father like son...maybe the answer is think before you vote.
2022-04-22 0
His real answer : your son will own nothing but he will be happy …??.
2022-04-22 0
Answer: high taxes, high cost of living, little opportunity to build and maintain wealth for the commoners.
2022-04-21 0
Dude answer the question already
2022-04-21 0
He doesn't care.. look at this fool. Listen to the answer.. there will be no help.. you will rent for the rest of their lives. That's what he wants.

You can't even say this clown is disconnected. He had 6 years to address the situation and the fact that he stumbles trying to answer the question shows he has zero interest in solving the housing problem. How can you tell? Well, when you aim to bring in half a million immigrants every year to a country that already has a neglected housing problem for the existing young generation of Canadians that say it all. Trudeau is doing nothing but sowing the seeds of destruction for the lives Canadians should be looking forward to.
2022-04-21 0
if we cant build housing fast enough to keep up to imigration why are you tacking in so much answer new canadians vote liberal because of open borders
2022-04-21 0
Basic answer is, I {Trudeua}, have been jamming immigrants into Canada faster than the construction industry can build new homes/living units, so your Son's generation, and probably the next, is fucked, thanks to me.
2022-04-21 0
so is he gonna answer the question? blah blah blah, verbal cocktail of nothing. meh i gave up owning a house, it will never happen. unless i get married and we both have 100k a year jobs, working on the side. and selling out blood.
2022-04-21 0
What a jerk really no answer!
2022-04-21 1
Simple answer: No sir, your son is totally screwed.
2022-04-21 0
A simple no would have answered the question. It's getting to be the same in the UK to.
2022-04-21 0
Mr word salad never truly answers the questions straight.
2022-04-20 0
so the answer is no
2022-04-20 0
Lol. His “answer” doesn’t jive with what he’s doing.
2022-04-20 0
It’s never been easy for Canadians, but because of all the printed money now it’s going to be impossible. He never answers questions ?
2022-04-20 0
Was there an answer anywhere in that ramble?
2022-04-20 0
So, the short and honest answer is.....no! Sorry, your children will likely never be able to afford a similar home to the one they grew up in. Did I hear him correctly? Was one of his reasons because of immigration causing a larger and more expensive housing market????
2022-04-20 0
Out of touch PM Trudeau useless always and Trudeau side step the ? Period and answer is nothing but hot air typically liberal and NDP both useless policies and housing and they suck. The fact of real truth now is not one Canadian citizen will ever be able to afford home period under Trudeau ndp budget of crap

I didn't listen to his reply. I can answer the question myself. Yes. I am a senior, and I have a son and a daughter in their early 40s. Both families are well employed and hard working, and both are homeowners. They managed to accomplish this with financing from the Bank of Dad. Without my help, they would still be renters. So the answer is yes, give up that hope unless you have a generous family with deep, deep pockets.

OMG is he seriously trying to pass the buck on to construction workers??? He is something else. Well at least he answered I guess.

Before calling anyone racist ask your self this question. How many people get scammed every year every month every day by someone that has a Hindu accent? People is afraid now when making a phone call to any business and a person with a Hindu accent answers. Now think of how many good people out here that have an accent in their English get the short end of the stick.

Canada is very immigrant friendly in terms of accepting immigrant to come yes but why ? well because immigration is a big business for this country who has not much technology export and in the same time is second biggest country in the world with population less then California alone . Somebody has to pay the rent and who is better then new comers cause they are well , new and don't know anything lol but after they come here with false hopes and everybody from all directions rip them off well , they loos all the savings and if they are lucky start working at Tim Hortons lol with high rents and cost of living lots of them choose to go back and I am not talking about people coming to Canada from very poor countries like all the Filipino's , for them working in Tim Hortons with minimum wage is a big achievements lol I am talking about people from middle class countries and above . Immigration for Canada is a big money maker and who gives a shit if they go back after a year or 2 , they already contribute to government's by loosing their money and working like a hors for couple of years and pay 45% taxes . Listen any country which is easy ( kind of ) to immigrate its because they need money and cheap workers . Can you immigrate to US or Denmark or any other European country as easy as you can to Canada ? the answer is no with very big N unless you have some thing they don't or need and that thing is not money lol

any recruitment agencies for petroleum engineers? I've always looked for any possible way to work in Canada but its hard to get answers for alot of stuff
2022-01-01 0
Pretty easy to answer that ....cause the liberal government lures them here and they find out its cold and you have to pay taxes that are always going up and the wages are falling behind , while Trudeu spends money the country doesnt have to suit his agenda and doesnt do a thing for the west ....hence the worst goverment in history of canada... be living in motorhome for the rest of my life . Im not even an imigrant but im thinking of leaving .

Hi Jason. I thank you so much for putting up your time and sharing so much information here. My question is, once you'll be landed as a PR, how will the process start? should I stay in Canada till all documentation complete? is there any documents will I hold to proof that I am a PR? like us here in UAE we are all holding an Emirates ID. Thanks for your time to answer all of my grey areas. Cheers - Delvi

2021-12-17 0

In Australia I had someone guess that I was Canadian. He said afterward that he based that on his experience that Canadians tended to be offended by being mistaken for Americans, but Americans didn't seem to mind being mistaken for Canadians.\nA couple of days later I mentioned that to a Canadian. He was a little surprised and told me that it would never occur to him to be bothered by that. I asked why not and he reminded me that Canada had over 30 million people while the Untied States had over 300 million. It's not personal. If you honestly have no idea and are just rolling the dice with your answer then your odds of being right are ten times higher if you guess Untied States.
