The problem is not the number of immigrants and foreign workers.. it's where all of them want to go.. Vancouver and Toronto. How about bringing them to the under populated cities and towns in Canada to help those cities and towns? In Toronto, you see South Asians driving cars with Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Nova Scotia plates but they're living here.. Immigration Canada needs to address this that's one other major reason why there's shortage of housing in major cities.

Dear Ana, by watching your videos I heard about Relocate Ltd and I contacted them through the link you shared with us. At the beginning of this year ( February 1st) I applied for Temporary Work Permit to Canada. Since then, they've been really kind and useful to me. However, in October my Employment coordinator informed me that she is no longer with Relocate and sent me an email for me to contact Relocate and ask for another person who should keep following up my process. I did as she recommended but after so many emails sent they didn't reply any email I've sent. I am concerned about that. Can you please, support me if you have any contact with someone from Relocate Ltd. The agreed process time was 2-9 months but it's already taking a while without succeed.

Of course everyone is leaving. The governments unending progressive policies completely forget that you have to actually produce houses and allow medical systems to grow to accommodate the increase in population. \n\n1. Money is worth way less than it used to due to inflation from excess money printing \n2. There aren't enough jobs for full time employment\n3. The medical system is massively shorthanded resulting in huge ER wait times, no family doctors and long specialist wait times (up to a year)\n4. Unnecessary excessive taxation with very little to show for it in terms of public services\n5. Massive housing shortage - Only 1 house being built for every 7 new immigrants coming to Canada\n6. General lack of infrastructure to allow for the increased population in most cities

With all due respect, comparing US and Canada to European in general doesn't make sense(please excuse my words). Compare them to European countries like Switzerland, Denmark, Norway, Luxembourg. And talking about countries with more billionaires, you can only do that on per capita basis looking at the American population as compared to these countries, and with that the statistics has proved that Scandinavia has more billionaires than US and Canada on per capita basis. Countries like Germany, Italy, Spain, Belgium, France Holland and all those other countries limit you because you're not allowed to work more than one full time job at a time, but in a country like Denmark, the wages are higher and you can work as many hours as your strength can and on top of that you get free healthcare, free education, and a lot more social benefits. So these countries come no where close to a country like Denmark. The language barrier is very valid, but putting in efforts to learn languages of countries like Denmark, Norway. Switzerland is worthy than getting a degree in country like America where inflation is out the roof and debt to gdp ratio is over 90%, having to borrow 3 to 4 billion every month in 2023 to stay afloat.. You need to read more on current state of the US.. It's been predicted that in mid 2024 to the end of 2024 5000 people could lose their job every month due to companies shutting down. This is never a good time to relocate to the States! lol

Ma'am, you have rightly said its a matter of one's individual temperament, priorities, expectations, and domestic conditioning. I know from experience of living in Canada, China, Japan and Sweden for over 25 years, your take would have been the same in any EU or American country. Of course, all sorts of handymen and cleaning services are available at a single phone call, but they're expensive which is why everyone keeps a tool kit and does most little things themselves. Only for complicated stuff we call professionals. If you can forget the maasis back home, these can be great countries to live in. Think again!

As a Canadian who has lived in almost all the provinces and territories, all my life, I can tell you that a lot has changed as I think the best time or era was in the 1970's and you may have come at the worst time as the worst appears to be now when everything has become too expensive. The other problem relates to Canada, its size, the distances to travel, the smaller tax base with a smaller population than that of United States or India. This is not intended to provide excuses but most people here do not even have a family doctor as many doctors find greener pastures in the United States where the dollar is 30 percent higher in value and salaries are not limited to government health care. It is hard to change when American influence dictates much of what transpires. Homelessness hasn't been a problem but the last five years has provided more hardship for many who find it hard to cope with how things have become.

Bro why not compare countries like Canada and Germany. The USA is a different country on its own. US salary exceeds that of Canada and Europe. For me, I don´t see the difference between Canada and Germany if not the language barrier. Salaries in Canada and Germany are equally the same if you also have good qualifications in Germany. German social system supercedes that of Canada. In Germany, after school, if you work for 2 years as a foreign student automatically you qualify for a permanent stay, I got my permanent stay after school when I worked for 2 years. The problem with Germany is the integration and language barrier other than that you can live a very good quality life. Every child in Germany school is free till University and children are paid 250 euros a month. For me Germany and Canada same I don´t see any difference but for the USA is salaries are better than in these two countries.

What is going on in the world? The U S and Canada seeing tents pitched up on the streets of what were some of the finest cities in the world. Something is very wrong. I grew up on blue-collar modest means. We were happy to celebrate life. My family members weren't educated, and we had real domestic family problems as so many do. We may have been poor, but we had what we needed and were never facing homelessness. Is this the result of globalization, overpopulation, global warming, and greed? God help us all. It's more deadly than covid but the government can't address the problem because they lose control for good. \n5. Canada is far away from many other places, which makes things worse as you feel trapped in a workcamp with no place to escape. \n6. The cost of living is getting much faster with the salaries significantly behind year after year. \n7. Canada became the country of failed government, failed multiculturalism, too tolerant as a result. \n8. Retirement in Canada will be impossible for 95% unless you agree to live in the middle of the nowhere until depression kills you. \n9. Many who came to Canada 25+ years ago and still around felt trapped. Canada's source of immigration will likely be the poorest communities who will agree to put up with everything listed above just to get out of where they live right now. \n10. Sad, but true. I have seen a steady decline in Canada since 1998. Things get worse every year.\nAmen to that. I'll be visiting Lviv in 2025 for the first time since 2000 to check on my apartment in the city centre, not far from my Alma Mater LPI. I’m sorry, but that is really disgusting. We do not need more immigrants. Our infrastructure and medical system is already burdened. Not to mention the government often pays for everything for them for the first year so they think they’ve got it good and suddenly when they can’t get a job, because Canada may not recognize their degrees, then they are struggling again. And sadly, if they are Muslim, sometimes they just don’t want to integrate they just want to live their own ways here, but have a better life in our country, and that’s not fair to us. That’s just my big overview and don’t get me wrong in every day life, I have some friends who are Muslim.

If it is at all true that foreign students are going to the food banks to get food then what the heck are they doing coming here. The food bank shouldn't be abused like this . And then they say that they should not come to Canada to get education. If they can't afford to come here then get an education else where . The food banks are for Canadians first and it is getting harder to feed the rising need for those Canadians. Using a system that was not set up for foreign students is not right. What next. Tuition free housing free. Do it on line and stay away.

After 26 years, our family is thinking of leaving. And it’s not just high taxes, rising cost of living and non existent social support especially when it comes to kids, but last 3 years of glimpses of totalitarian regime that Canada is slowly (or possibly quickly) slipping into.

I'm assuming it's the highly skilled ones that are leaving. No matter how it has declined, Canada is still an advanced and highly developed country. Many across the globe still dream about starting a new life in Canada. The living standards are still much higher than the US. Of course there are problems but I don't believe it's as bad as some make it out to be.

The Trudeau government pushed Canada to the breaking point. More and more and see not only immigrants but also born Canadians leaving and this will continue until we get rid of Trudeau, and I should not forget Freeland. These 2 are the most evil people I've seen in my life.

People immigrate to have better lives. When they come to Canada and realize it will take years for them to find the same job they had back in their own countries (if they are lucky enough to find one), they decide to return. People immigrate to build lives that they would not have been able to build in their countries. They don't come here to start from scratch and live in conditions that are worse than what they have left behind. They don't want to have to wait months for a simple medical procedure. They don't want to pay such insane rents. People immigrate to live more comfortable lives. If they work and pay taxes, they want to see the effect of their tax money on improvements. If the medical system is free but people have to stay with illness for a long time because wait times are too high, then what is the benefit of it? We bring in doctors and don't let them work. We bring in nurses and don't let them work. The same goes for teachers and many other professionals. If a country needs immigrants, it also needs their expertise and knowledge. You either need people or you don't. Stop this double standard.

Furthermore, for those who don't have high enough education to allow to move to another country and take those job opportunities in which you just have to suck it. I'm an immigrant from the UK, which is in someways worse than Canada and some ways better, both Governments are corrupt and beholden to the US Empire and huge Corporations. Tell me why I should choose this authoritarian, dystopian nightmare of a country, over my home authoritarian, dystopian nightmare of a country? At least the UK doesn't steal your hard earned money, for protesting the corrupt Government. They may beat you up and arrest you for it, but that's kids play compared to what Canada does. \n\nMost prices in this country are as similar as the UK's, allowing for exchange. But food is unbelievably more expensive and the UK is an island. My husband wants us to move to the UK, but I have fallen in love with this country, it's beauty and it's people. I'm heartbroken, I can only imagine what those who were born here feel. When skilled immigrants come here and have to start at the bottom in many industries, no matter how rich their CV. When pay is as bad as back home, in some cases worse, why would they bother? Not to mention the taxes. And I happen to be a traditional leftist, who believes in progressive taxing. Trudeau is too busy cosplaying his ego into US proxy wars and identity poltics, which serves only to divide the people. His days are numbered, I only have to listen to my friends and neighbours.
