Congratulations, post-industrial Canada!???

Canada is the second largest country in the world with a population of only 40 million Resource rich and sharing the longest border in the world with the richest country we could easily be the wealthiest country per capita on earth … truly astonishing how canada has managed to become so poor inefficient and stagnant. Quite the accomplishment!

I would say Liberal/Trudeau government mismanagement of Canada resources has double the cost of living.

Canada imports people to keep the housing industry booming, keep housing prices high and keep developers wealthy. Infrastructure is an after thought, poorly designed subdivisions with endless traffic jams, overloaded hospitals.

canada is a pretty good choice for most immigrants before 2019, but since then, especially the pandemic, the house price ramped up, and the opening policy of immigration make it worse, more people come into canada, and less house built, because the house owner dont want their house depreciate, they vote the governor who prefer build less.

The Liberal government has been a huge problem over the last ten years. Its softness towards drugs and crime has put huge strain on the system, law biding citizens concerns get ignored. As a lifelong Canadian citizen, Canada has become a shell of its formal glory.

I have 3 degrees from university and colleges and i owe 130k in loans.. I am 28 and cannot find a job. I live in my parents basement now and have no girlfriend. I even applied to work at Tim Horton's and Mc donalds but they will not hire me cause i am white male and to hire me would contravene Canada's employment equity act! Canada has no money for this, we are in debt, so we have to borrow money and cannot take in an endless hoard of people. We have a severe lack of housing for citizens.

Canada does not need the current level of immigration. This notion is promoted by people who are in RE flipping. Country needs to focus on high value pharmaceutical, manufacturing as it leaves China, export oil/gas.

Ah it is almost the same in my country, the Netherlands. Extremely wealthy, lot of immigrants to but we have a real reason to complain: we do not have the space Canada does have......let 's say a major difference? ? Anyway I will go to Canada just for vacation, hiking and travelling around ( I think will be Alberta or BC ) and put some of my well earned money in your economy. Moved to Canada 13 years ago, I own a House ❌ “A Mortgage” ✅ as well. It’ll take another 27 years to pay off the mortgage. Living below the means, but still it’s tough to make ends meet. Leaving soon, Canada is not worth living anymore.

Prices went up at every country after pandemic, so don't get fooled about it. Salaries are not better in Europe either. Housing, owning it is worse in Europe, so Canada shines.\nBut I agree for experience and degrees. Degree doesn't add any value at all. I immigrated to Canada with 15 years of experience in IT and I worked in English English-speaking countries before coming to Canada. However, they do not consider my overseas English. It took me 6 months to get a programmer job in Canada. Most employers requested Canadian experience.

Basically, Canada decided to wear shoes way bigger than its size. Accommodating so many immigrants without any robust planning and management was a gamble that backfired the country. While i understand a country with a weak demography requires young population to contribute ti fuel its economic engine, lack of job creation and superficially overpriced real estate are the ticking time bombs waiting to go off and go beyond control soon. \nOne thing that continues to amaze me is the tolerance and acceptance of Canadians towards failed policies of its government. The protest against vaccination gained traction, but no real voice against a problem stressing every Canadian on daily basis? \nCabada must stop comparing itself to the US that has a very well planned immigration system seeking the most talented professionals in their respective fields. It's a problem of both Indian and Canadian government. Canadian government assumes no responsibility of int'l students as it's a privilege to study abroad for anyone. BUT stopping exploitation of int'l is Canada's ethnical and lawful obligation

I just want to comment on the transportation. It seems that you forgot that Canada is much larger compare to Germany, or Singapore, or even Europe. As Canada is the 2nd largest country in the world after Rusia. That's why it's challenging and expensive to expand the transportation system. As you can see as well in USA, which is similar

3 schools in Amherst Nova Scotia cancelled their Christmas school concerts because of immigration of people who don't like Christmas and don't feel inclusive because they don't celebrate Christmas. This is what Immigration is doing to Canada.

Canada, lease do NOT get them from those Islamic countries. They suck at integration. \n* Show me ONE country where Muslims have integrated well?\n* Show me ONE muslim country where non-muslims are treated equally. \nIf Canada must bring in from those regions, bring in those minorities like Yazidees, Chrisitan, Hindus .... who are persecuted because of their religious status.
