You are right to a point. The fact is if you really do want to grow in Europe, UK aside, you sure have to learn their local language and I tell you, if you got the skills(requisite experience)plus their language, the sky is your starting point because there are much better opportunities in Europe than in both US and Canada. It's hard for Canadians to grasp but in the current era Canada is a failing state. All of its sources of wealth and income have been throttled by political interference. Pipelines. Mining. Logging. Even breathing, as carbon dioxide is fraudulently slagged as a 'pollutant'. Canada's enemies have done very well. Canadians have not fared well in catching on to the fact that they've been attacked. So, those who can, leave. During the covid fraud when it was 'mandated' (A euphemism for ORDERED) to take the injection, 8,500 health care workers were laid off, most of whom were recruited by Texas and Florida. Our loss; their gain. Yet another 'chip in the wall'. In our business we've even had immigrants from Russia tell us they're going back. My first visit to Canada (the so called Province of Quebec) was in 1972. If you've had asked me at that time where was paradise, I'd have answered to you that it was right here in Quebec and particularly in Montreal. I spent two years and went back home in 1974. I came back five years later in 1979 with the intent of staying and I did. I've spent decades of wonderful years here, and although I will leave next year, I will still remember with nostalgia the lost best decades (70s, 80s and 90s) I'd have spent in Montreal. I will remember the most beautiful city of the world and what it has become in the years 2000 amd counting. I remember how clean and well maintained that city was; how its people were among the most polite and civilized in the World; how life was so easy and affordable; how tolerant as a society the French Canadian one was and so on. Today, all that is gone, and when I take a look at the pile of trashes and garbages on the Ste-Catherine street and Saint Laurent Boulevard, it makes feel sick. In fact, Montreal has become a huge Third World city, and it is not better on a social point of view : you can't walk one block or two without being dragged by a homosexual or a lesbian. Speaking of lesbian and homosexual, you can't keep your work if you don't support the LGBT and or willing to date your boss. I am leaving next year to go back to my country where there is still a seemingly willingness to normalcy, but since the LGBT has managed to sneak its power everywhere, I am not holding my breath of a bright future overthere, but it's my home and I prefer to be there and deal with it.

Canada is in a catch 22 situation: We need to reduce immigration to restore the trust needed to build prosperity (the research on this is absolutely clear - see Putnam, et al, for example.), and we need to maintain it to make up for labor shortages. The fact is, polls show that trust is at an all-time low between Canadians, and it is due to bringing in too many people who are self-segregating and not assimilating. The fact is, we have crushed the birth rate, made homes too expensive, and raised the cost of living to a point where people are desperate, and our school system has destroyed the enterprising spirit that built our economy in the first place.

It’s been 5 years for me here and I honestly can say I have achieved nothing in my life yet. It scares me when I think I can’t return whatever my parents had invested in me. The fact is you’ll never have a good paying job in Canada being an immigrant. When I say this trust me I mean it. Most you’ll get is a minimum wage job which can make you survive the life here. The fact that Canada is horribly unaffordable and you can't just walk in and get a job as a doctor, is not exactly a secret. Did none of those immigrants bother to actually do a bit of reasearch before they came here? Or did they come based on the word on the streets that trudeau loves to hand out free money? When my parents came here they consulted friends that were already here and ensured jobs were secured before they stepped on that boat. I have family that simply moved from one province to another that did a deep dive on housing, labor market, cost of living and health care, and secured a job, before moving. The immigrants now just think they can step out of the airport and be handed keys to a new home and their preferred job. Their fault.

Hi Chorkor. You are doing a great job.but honestly, In Germany, there is a clear path to citizenship for graduates and even non- graduates. One can easily own property and honestly, if you have a right skills you can get the best professional job without speaking German. I have worked in one of the best multinational company for 4 years and I don’t have issues with working in English. There are so many people having great jobs here. The quality of life in Quebec, despite the fact that Quebecers are not as well off as residents of other provinces, such as BC, Alberta or Ontario, is far better. Life in Montreal, Quebec is far superior to that of Toronto or Ottawa in many ways. Having lived in these two capitals, I prefer to live in Quebec, despite all the bad things Canadians in other provinces think of it. The fact that I am perfectly bilingual has favored my integration into this distinct society, I must admit.
