This homeless people are tgey dnt like to work they enjoy silling in the corner waiting for the coin drop. When you work you got money to live.

Canada is a beautiful country in the summer but I've been in nicer countries and cities in Europe. After living in Germany for a few years as a child I struggled to find anywhere in Canada that even compares, and the closest I came was southern BC where you pay a premium to live in a relatively nice climate that most people around the world take for granted. That's not even getting into how Victorian Canadian culture feels compared to Europe.

The way to solve the homeless problem and to get the communities back to prosperity \nMany Canadian communities have been affected by the homeless people with serious security, health, destructions of businesses and lost investments values problems. As the taxpayers and equal rights citizens their lives and properties have been destroyed by the each level governments not being helpful.\nThese communities need looking for legal solutions to have their class action lawsuits against the each level governments, for their lives and properties damages.

If you are in Canada...move to a smaller city....or move to another country ❤ ❤ Btw i agree about everything you say!!+ BIGGEST ISSUE is sense of real community and connection and meaningful friendship. So far BEST CITY i have found unbelievably...is WINNIPEG. WHY? Houses and car inauranmore affordable and the people are genuinely lovely and kind. They get out together and talk to their neighbors. (Unless in brand new area with all newcomers). Only advice is stay away from north west...that is a nasty area. Rest of city is great. Downtown not best to live in. Work in is fine. Winnipeg was best city.

The way to help the homeless people \n\nCanadian people every year welcomed thousand refugees from abroad, and supported them with generous resources to settle down their lives in Canada. There’s no doubt Canadian would do same things to the homeless people in our society, but the same things are not needed by our homeless people.\n\nAs most us know, most our homeless people with mental illnesses and hard bad addictions. They are not capable to make right choices for themselves. But it’s not safe and right for making choices for our homeless people even with our good intentions. As in the past happened so many governments and metal health institutions abused their power over the venerable people.\n\nThe key is the whole country specially the federal government should determined with provincial and municipal governments and many social groups to solve the problems together. To provide the nice, attractive, safe environment places for the homeless people. It would cost more than supporting the refugees and without returning, the refugees after settling would pay back as tax payers. But it would cost much less than mental health institutions, prisons and the damages they cost to the communities. And providing better environment for the people, businesses and communities where the homeless people live now. Most importantly it is our responsibility for the homeless people and the communities where they live.

And all these people are living for free in our country when we have veterans and other Americans that's are homeless and most Americans are barely getting by and alot of children that are starving but illegal immigrants get everything for free make that make sense???

The fact that Tyler is surprised at how many people bring up school shootings as a reason to stay away from the US is a scary indication of how much this type of violence has become normalized. I'm Canadian and throughout my professional life I've spent time working in the US. In fairness, I've met some truly great people. Also in fairness, religion seeps into US politics in ways that it never does in Canada and never in a good way. Christian fundamentalism is a scary reality of US life intent as it is on heaping hate on sexual minorities and taking away rights wherever they are allowed to. An additional point, but this one is only an irritant, is how ignorant so many Americans are about the world. At any rate, I'm retired and live with advanced kidney disease and a pacemaker. For those reasons alone I couldn't afford to live in the US. Thankfully, my country takes good care of me and my provincial government (Québec) even covers most of the cost of my expensive prescription drugs.

Canada is no longer the safe place to live ! With all the immigration whether legal or not the crime rates have skyrocketed ! This influx of people has also driven the housing prices up !

And, here I am not knowing why I immigrated to Canada from India amid this chaos, but, I feel safe and secure that I atleast have an option to return back to my home country and live a peaceful and fulfilling life whereas these people who are born Canadians have no choice and have to suffer. It's pity what their own people and government did to them. Also, why are the youth so much into drugs and bad habits??? I mean, it is not good when the younger population instead of investing their time and energy in the better of the society have to do such horrible acts to further increase the homelessness.

We have this in Europa too Germany, England, Italian, Greeks can't take no more. Germany is the only country that pay so much welfare and children money. I m an an Belgian and there it look the same too. We all can't find no place to stay. Migranten live in Hotels . We take alot of Ukraine people and all borders is open for years. Now the German government want now more money to give for the kids. We taxe payers have to pay alot. Even they go with ships to England. They not afraid for the water. The best way to do this as an immigrant is basically live like a pauper and use that exchange rate to invest at home. Don't live a comfortable life in the West. That's how people are making it work, because the work culture is toxic over there and strenuous. If you don't have a high flying job, you have to work 2 to 3 jobs and rack up overtime when they allow it to make good money to invest over there and at home.

The main problem in Canada is you keep toiling year after year but you cannot really see you achieve a life where you are secure that you have made it. Cold weather, there are many cold countries like Scandinavian countries etc. but even migrants stay put because one's life improved. Canada just wanted to extract money from foreigners like international students, migrants without or even PRs but the promised benefits are in fact also gotten from them due to the many stiff taxes, & not really from the gov't. My nephews & niece supposedly given education but those are loans that must be paid after graduation. But the problem is there are no jobs even if they graduated with flying colors and nice courses. It was said work is easier if already citizens and studied there but no use. If there are jobs, so many asked like work history, credit background how can they have it when they just graduated so accepted jobs for undergraduates like mopping floors, fastfood crew & entailed years, so how can the payback be with just minimal earnings? Canada just make slaves of migrants with nothing done in their lives but work, work, work no spare time to rest then taxes, taxes, taxes. No savings even if very thrifty. Everything has tax - Exorbitant income taxes, home tax, rent tax, car tax, insurance tax, bank account tax, electricity tax, internet tax, cellphone tax, and many more. Slaves because you only live to sustain the government BUT YOU CANNOT RECEIVE THE PROMPT AND COMPLETE SERVICES promoted. So people got depressed and unhappy especially with the gloomy cold weather. It's not like jobs in other countries or even in one's home country where even if you toiled hard and made sacrifices, you moved forward by assets acquired like lots, houses, big bank account balances but no, in Canada you can't, it must all go to the Govt. It's like Communism.

I'm not sue what most of you are talking about Canada being safe ?? Gang shootings and killings everyday , car jackings. There are homeless camps everywhere. All the rest stops along hwy 1 in BC are full of people living in rv's and trailers, drug use everywhere. Our health care is free because its terrible. Every hospital is badly understaffed, patients have their beds in hallways. If you want anything done quickly you have to pay and get it done privately anyways. Oh cant forget our taxes. Gotta love the made up carbon tax. I pay 52% income tax. Food and gas prices are way higher because of all our tax. And last but not least real estate and rent cost. Average detached house in the greater Vancouver area is almost 1.3 million dollars and the average rent for a 2 bedroom in Vancouver is $3900. I was born and raised here this is not the same country I grew up in and was a proud citizen of. Our country has fallen.

Even Canadian born people are regretting living in Canada, these days. I'm happy people are doing these video's because you don't know how many times I've spoken to immigrants who 100% regret they moved to Canada. And the worst is most spent their savings to get to Canada, but have no money to move back home. Being Canadian = a life of being a SLAVE. That's it. That's all. The medical treatment and facility is much better now in India. You can go to any specialist on one or two days prior appointment. While it takes weeks or some times 3 to 4 months to get to see a specialist in western country. And majority of doctors in western countries are Indians. Over all today's India quality of life and ease of living is much better than earlier years when people use to migrate to Canada ,UK or USA.

I don’t envy people who live in Canada

I’m born & raised in Montreal, Quebec and while it’s extremely multicultural and has an incredible education system, we have been experiencing a continuous housing crisis. Every year the rent prices and general cost of living are skyrocketing yet wages remain the same. It’s actually becoming a huge problem in Montreal. Young people are being pushed out as prices are starting to little by little be comparable to Toronto. \nAnd don’t get me started on the hate Anglophones receive here. Even Montreal natives like myself who are historically English get discriminated against every day. \nThe Quebec government is pushing the English language out of Quebec, making it harder and harder for Anglophones to be able to function and live practically here. You can’t even go to the hospital and get service. If you don’t speak French you can’t call and speak with any government services, and even businesses are forced to have French names, and only conduct their business in the French language. \nI myself am bilingual, but for someone who doesn’t speak the language, or is learning having trouble it’s nearly impossible to live in Quebec as they wouldn’t even be able to get a job. The discrimination Anglophones receive is insane and we are seen as a ‘bottom of the barrel’ minority, which is so sad seeing that this is where I was born and raised and where I call my home. \nThey’re taking away more and more public & social services and literally funnelling multi millions of dollars of funding , which is desperately needed for homelessness and many other social problems we have within Montreal and it’s all now going towards pushing the French language in Montreal (we literally have what’s called the ‘language police’ who’s job is to enforce French. They will give businesses thousands of dollars of tickets and even shut them down all because someone is caught speaking English) \nHopefully something will change soon or else Montreal is going to continue to become a place completely taken over by hate and discrimination and it will experience a MASS exodus (which is already starting).

Canadian politeness is an outdated myth. Anyone who works in the service sector will attest to this as they must tolerate all kinds of abusive behaviour from the public. Our Prime Minister is out of touch. He has lived a lavish life ever since his father was PM. The Federal government is there to help corporations, not its citizens. The Provincial government are there to serve land developers and businesses, not its workers or citizens. The amount of working people who can't afford rent or food is exploding. Forget living a good life. Life in Canada now is all about survival!

I think one of the biggest things he didn’t mention is the gap between rich and poor in African countries is huge. People will always come to the west to try and make a ‘better’ life for themselves. The African countries I have been to are beautiful the people for the most part are welcoming but like the west there are many challenges and poverty and corruption is in Africa just as much as the US, Canada, Europe and the rest of the world. Beware of the single narrative. He’s speaking from his own experience, but it’s not the same as everybody’s. I’ve lived in Canada now for 4 years…got my citizenship this year. I lived in Nigeria for the 10 years prior to moving to Canada, and I also schooled and lived in the UK before that, so I speak with a wealth of diverse experiences. \n\nBefore you move to Canada or anywhere else for that matter, do the following:\n\n1. Research the country you’re moving to…what jobs are in demand, how that aligns with your qualifications…if you need to recertify or retrain in a different field. Many people move here thinking “oh I was a bank manager in Nigeria, so I’ll move here and become a bank manager”. It doesn’t work that way. The streets of Canada are littered with qualified medical doctors who drive Uber because they didn’t understand how difficult it would be to be certified to practice here.\n\n2. Find role models who are living the life you aspire to, or who have made similar moves and seek advice or guidance, and learn what they did right/wrong. Don’t just assume because your friend moved here, you can also move here and live the same life. You don’t share the same life experiences, history or have the same network.\n\n3. Before you immigrate physically, you have to immigrate mentally…be in the right mindset to live in a new country, understand their culture and learn to adapt. If you’re expecting to leave Nigeria and move to Canada to live a Nigerian lifestyle with “owambe” parties every weekend, or having 4 cars and 3 housemaids, then you’re still living in Nigeria mentally. Even Justin Trudeau does not drive 4 cars.\n\nI work in tech, so I knew that with God’s grace I’d find a way to succeed here. My wife worked in a Nigerian bank, and was able to transition to tech after we arrived here. Our combined annual income is roughly $500k, and we both work less than 40 hours a week, and I believe God will continue to bless us. I have easily 20 or 30 friends and colleagues who moved within a year or two of each other, and everyone is doing fine and working in tech jobs paying 6-figures. \n\nDon’t be discouraged by people’s failures and hardships. With the right planning and mindset, you can achieve your goals in any country. Reach out to people on LinkedIn, build a network and ask for advice (constructively)…many like us are more than willing to help.

India is in a much better situation in this recession.. even better than the US and Canada. I have a good job here.. Enjoy my weekends with great food from swiggy zomato and beer?. You get better salary packages in India. Cities like Pune, Bengaluru, Gurgaon, Ahmedabad, Navi Mumbai are great to live in and earn. I work from home...nice work life balance, enjoy my vacations in Goa... Go for a vacation every 4 months. Thoughts came in to shift to Canada... but decided not to go. Why struggle so much abroad. It’s interesting….I am desperate to move to Africa…not sure if east or west, but on day I am going to live there. \nThe way that people throw away everything, driver, stable income, own home fully built, to come to the west to wash white peoples bums, astonishes me. \nThey don’t know what they have. \nThe west is not a home its a place you may make money, as well as face so much discrimination etc.

Life in Nigeria is only decent for those living affluently in Lekki, Victoria Island, Ikoyi, certain areas of Ikeja and Abuja. Outside of that, life for everyday Nigerians is crap. Water & electricity (NEPA) are highly unreliable & intermittent, so fuel-powered generators are a necessity for living everyday life per household or per apartment in apartment complexes. The banking & government systems are notoriously sluggish, taking weeks and months to process simple paperwork such as drivers licenses, passports, certificates, banking transaction reversals, you name it. Bribery is a daily occurrence EVERYWHERE. Police (if you can call them that, mostly untrained thugs) detain & extort motorists and/or people innocently going about their daily lives, just for the money. Many many many people disappear mysteriously without ever being seen again by family or friends. Lots of inter-racial discrimination and animosity between the three major tribes that make up Nigeria… Yoruba, Igbo & Hausa-Fulani. The federal & state governments are horribly corrupt, bordering on dictatorship. Elections are undemocratic, to say the least, with thugs threatening voters at voting booths. I could go on?\n\nThis is why many Nigerians with any amount of wealth live in diaspora, whether that be the UK, Canada, the USA, Europe, or wherever. And, yeah, be prepared for everything being structured & organized in these countries, especially in North America. The cost of living is definitely higher to pay for a higher quality of living. That’s the difference between a developed country vs a country, such as Nigeria, that’s developing or considered ‘third-world’. Unfortunately, here in Canada we cannot account for the last 8 years under our current administration, which has gone rogue & is out of control, causing high inflation, interest rates and housing and cost of living to soar. This is not normal conditions even to those of us natural-born here. So, we feel for immigrants who have arrived in good faith in the last few years. I’m sure their country of origin is looking better than what is being experienced here in Canada currently.
