I have a Adopted son who is nigerian. When I went to nigeria,he asked if he can come to to live with me , and he came and stayed with me for 3 years . I put him through nurses aide training , and he got a job and after 9 years he is going back home to visit his father, mother , siblings , and friends . I get so happy for him that I cry . I am so proud of him .

One thing about traveling abroad , if you come to the United States, to go back home they will not becos, they are worried what their fellow Nigerians say .

As a Canadian now living in Arizona who is a retiree I simply love the weather and I have some wonderful friends. I prefer to be here and enjoy the snow free areas and amazing weather. That said I had an appendicitis operation on easter weekend. Even with medicare and a supplemental insurance I will be paying about 2600.00 U.S. I still have a totally Canadian worldview for the most part and simply have to keep quiet most of the time when it comes to discussions about things going on here. ie. Red vs Blue. I recognize that I am in a foreign culture and for example the passion for guns is a odd odd concept for me. Growing up hunting and owning guns makes me even more puzzled. ie. guns are for harvesting game. period. As long as I remember that American culture has some really odd things about it. (I draw the comparison to some nation abroad that believes in female circumcision or something) then I am fine. I tend to be easy going about it all and I survive fine here.

How do you want me that sold my two cars, my studio n it’s equipments, sold some expensive stuffs just to come to the uk ?? to now go back with nothing. It’s hard because before you can account to anything you have to follow the system and become something first then go back. I’d say more than half of the people that come to canada we don’t fuckin want. No skills, ignorant people that try to make Canada like their old home country. This may be accurate from presentation part, but see the actual reality, if canada is that much attractive for skilled immigrants, it should be world leader in technology or manufacturing but it is not as life is very harsh here. For most professional except IT your education is not valid or you have to go through very length process of validating your education and getting in main stream to get the job some time it takes years of continuous job like effort. Salary structure is garbage compared to USA. It is impossible to find an affordable house or apartment which you can rent, forget about buying.. Tax system is upto moon. Healthcare is broken and on top of that Black money is dumped from all over the world in real estate. Canada is a broken country and it heavily relying on international students and wealth immigrants to run their country. You are welcome here if you have shit load of money otherwise think 100 times before you come to this country.

Wow, they get $ 50.000 tax free dollars the first year…must be nice, I wish I made that much money. Same here in the UK. Doctors, dentists schools, housing all a problem, yet they're allowing illegal immigrants in their thousands from the English Channel, going out in our lifeboats to fetch them in even from the French side and we get to pay for their hotels at a cost of some £7Million a DAY. The staff of the hotels taken over lose their jobs, there's been attacks and a murder but still they keep coming.

We got folks in Texas, American born, that gotta forge check stubs just to get an apartment. It's not easy living over here. Most of the available rooms are on Airbnb cuz there's never a hotel room available. You could spend all of your check just to get outta this heat.
