I don't feel angry or upset, because I've experience being followed in a store and I've worked in clothing retail and seen the actual types of people that do steal and to be honest, it doesn't matter the color of the skin or the amount of money a person have, thieves come in all different background. I've seen white women steal, I've seen black women steal, I've seen Hispanic women steal. I've seen a group of people steal, I've seen toddlers steal. What they taught me in retail is just like best buy, you have to make your presence known, but there is a difference between harassment and actually helping the customer. Muslim women here in Canada are not subject to the same lifestyle as they would be in Islamic countries. They choose to follow the Islamic faith only in ways they feel are applicable to them and what they want personally. Not what the faith demands of them. There is a great difference.

I can see westerners being freaked out by the women who cover their face. I myself was like wtf when I seen a women with covered face for the first time back in northern Virginia, and I am from Ethiopia - a country that has a big Muslim population, more than 30%. We live among Muslims peacefully, because we respect our differences, but the ones back home do not really cover their face so I was not used to it. One of the women speaking said that Prime Minister, Harper's words regarding Islam are creating fear and yet never once mentioned that Jihadism creates fear. A pretty typical Muslim response really, i.e. ignore the Jihadism and put the focus of the people exposing them as a kind of diversion.
