Yeah well in Canada the problem is for us fools who decided to do a STEM degree, we not only have to compete with our classmates in the job market, but also with all the immigrants who also have STEM degrees plus decades of experience. When you point out the wage gap, this is why and it is true in most STEM fields. \nI have met many engineers who gave up looking for work and took up a trade which all too often actually pay more than what they would otherwise using their majors.

I worked with Nigerians at Amazon on the shipping Dock. I was loading 2000 parcels a day and some only load 400 a day, for the same pay. Very laid back people.

Few morr years Canada will be filled by uneducated immigrants like Filipinos who live and work just to survive.

I had migrated to Nz 3 months back and i gotta say its the exact opposite of whatever Canada has to offer . There is work life balance here, not much of pressure , the people are easy going and its turning out to be the best decision of my life .All the best to my brothers and sisters trying to make it big..

Reddit is a very leftist platform and so these types of responses were predictable. A lot of it would have been true in the 70s and 80s but these are Canadian stereotypes that people are desperately holding onto. More and more things are being delisted from our healthcare coverage, meaning that I often hear of people getting charged out of pocket. I was surprised 3 years ago when my doctor ordered a cancer screening after I was suffering a digestive issue. I was not prepared to pay out of pocket for something as essential as cancer screenings. This sort of thing always used to be covered. It was always covered by our much higher cost of living and our higher taxes. If my taxes keep going up, I expect services to get better, not to decline like they have been. Our seniors are afraid to go to the doctor these days. Suicide is being offered to them instead of proper care and treatment. After they had spent decades working and paying into the system they are being shut out.

I was born in Canada and live here currently. I have lived in Asia, Europe and USA. Canada is my least favorite country to reside, by far, to be honest. Canadian health care is not free, it is just that Canadians are brainwashed to think that working months a year (slavery) for the government healthcare is acceptable. Like children wanting mommy and daddy to look after their allowance. The services a pathetic! As for the politics comment; that fellow is also typical of many (but not all) Canadians....most people in Canada ONLY talk to people that they agree with therefore there will not be any arguments...people even ghost their own family if you don't agree to worship the government.

In the beginning: Walking for 30 minutes and picking busses to and fro work is called struggles? Wow! And claim it hasn't been easy?

Being in the UK I feel this is much better for me. Could work remotely for companies in America while in uk and still do not have the expenses of Americans. The medicine or sicknesses will cause you bankruptcy even for a non prescription. In Europe the healthcare is free of charge. another thing houses are expensive in America. One thing you got to learn is never be caught by police with any crime. Once you get negative report file you are done and can never get approved for any acceptance in work application or bank loans and this is why homelessness is widespread.

Helpful video. Please i have a question. I will be moving with my family, spouse and two children. Please sir, 1.what is the exact amount for proof of fund for the family? 2. My spouse is my sponsor and intend paying my tuition fee, what will be my home tie since I'm moving with my family? Though my husband is not staying for long just to follow us there so that we can be fully settled before going back to work? We have landed properties and building. Can I use that as home tie or use my extended family since?

He just said what i was waiting to hear at 10:27 . This is the edge canada has over the u.s. America presents harrowing & too limited pathways to obtain just work permits/residency, except you won a green card lottery or something; don't even talk about the asylum program. Immigrants with countless stories of been exploited bcos they had no other alternatives than to get married. Thus lots of people moved to Canada with more friendly immigration assimilation policies. America may have the bigger economy but nothing beats canada in getting your papers without been stuck in a situationship(immigration loop, marraige web etc) & as we know your papers unlocks the full potentials & provisions of that land.

Masa stop talking what you don't know. What proper growth do you have in your Canada there? Ifimmigrants grow to become CEOs of companies then why have you not become and working as an instructor in driving school after doing your master?

I m punjabi, we dnt ask for khalistan. Yet the dirty politicians across the borders are brainwashing the uneducated & unemployed youth to make them redicals. Also there are some singers are promoting the violence and some radicals in their songs , they also promote the fake canadian life in their songs i.e why youth is in favour of canada. Most of the khalistan issue is on social media only , the educated and working sikh does nt promote it

I came to Canada with family as a PR holder (without a job) and my point of view is completely different. Now I am a Canadian citizen after 6 years. My view is always towards my kids future which are brighter than in India I believe. My kids (now citizen) can travel and work in Canada, India, US, UK etc. without any Visa. They are OCI as well and can enjoy life in India in future if they want. What do I want more? Initial 5 to 6 months is a struggle is for everyone though.

Everything you said here is true From my own experience it's more like a slave here in eastern Europe. Even as a labourer you have to work like an elephant with very minimal wage.

Seriously speaking i love this city but as you said it is very expensive to live in live in the midtown both my wife and myself are full time workers and we are managing the expenses, the declining ratio is for sure i blame the government, the bad thing is no matter what every other immigrant whether they lands in halifax or calgary they move to Gta or in toronto, the government should have a check and balance to those people who are nominated in other provinces and moved to Toronto, i dont blame the people it is the government they need to make the opportunity in every province and put a cap on the individual if you are landed in Saskatchewan you should stay in the same place for almost 5 years, if a person or a family live constantly for 5 years at one place they don’t even try to think to move any-other city unless they have some serious issues their, i am also an immigrant a landed PR from Pakistan Alhumdulillah i work hard my wife does the same Managing the expenses but it’s true it is not affordable for everyone now.

Joblessness yes!! but a more deeper and siniter plot Africans States devised against itself is an attempt to make everyone work for the State. Challenges most Global South countries faced is initial system they subscribed to.... the adoptive Socialist system from Russian they thought was replacement for infant stage Capitalist System inherited with impassed for independence. They wanted out of the control of British Commonwealth and moved toward unsuspected, unlearned, ill advised Russia Socialism with excessive State control and markedman styled partisan loyalist that are apparatus, a cut out of people to be used against people by the State. That is obvious indication that it did not work, now no work and have seen people taking the middle postion to defraud thereby produces the result of failes position it initial assumed. Now the Capitalism abandoned and rejected for Russian influenced Socialism has proved now to be only sustainable system Africans ran to to seek refuge at all cost.

Certainly, she is not being fair when it comes to presenting the facts. Her honesty is quite questionable. If someone secures a job like the one she's discussing, undoubtedly, very few would choose to remain in such a place.\n\n\nA message to the author: Please refrain from misleading young individuals for the sake of views. It's not advisable to continue creating videos when you can't truly understand the challenges of Canadian life and employment in just a few months.\nI strongly advise young people and families to reconsider their plans of moving to Canada. Invest a bit more effort and consider going to the United States instead. You can establish yourself in the USA, and don't assume that it's necessarily expensive. While it might be costly in larger cities, Indian students often share apartments to split the rent. In smaller towns like Kalamazoo, MI, the cost of living can be very affordable. Additionally, you'll likely find Indian employers who can provide you with cash jobs.\n\n\nWho am I? I'm someone who immigrated to Canada 22 years ago with a master's degree from a prestigious institute and a B.Ed. certification. I'm a certified teacher in Los Angeles and Ontario, Canada, but I never managed to secure a proper job in Canada. Later on, I earned a Master's degree in statistics from McMaster University, but I still couldn't find a suitable job, not even a laborer's job at that time.\nToday, you might be able to find a laborer's job, but you'd likely be stuck in such roles for the entirety of your working life, struggling to make a decent living. That's the reality of Canada. Moreover, don't assume that you can easily move from Canada to the USA; it's quite challenging to do so. Instead, consider the option of moving directly from India to the USA, which is a much more feasible path.\nMy sincere request is this: If you wish to pursue your dreams, seriously consider the USA. If, like me, you want to face the kind of challenging circumstances I've experienced, then you can come to Canada.\nCheers.

Another problem is that huge numbers of Eastern Europeans especially Russians and Ukrainians are in Canada a large number of them illegally. Someone from rural Canada was telling me that Canadian farm areas are full of these Ukrainians Romanians Bulgarians Slovaks etc that have entered illegally and are staying on farms out of sight and working under the table. Also large number of people from UK came over as tourists didn’t go back and are hiding in Canada illegally. Some of these British tourists are now homeless on the streets adding to social problems in Canada.

I’ve lived near Toronto for the vast majority of my adult life. Around 2016 I was working there and started to explore the city a little bit more, living there for a short time. I think the draw and attraction was that it always was a little hectic. Always something to look at, so many different cultures. Also such contrasts, walking through the downtown core and then out to a neighborhood like Greek town. With parks and even forests to be found. It went from tense to a feeling of refuge and a sense of a natural oasis within a chaotic machine. I think the sense of calm which could be found has become a little more rare. Also a certain openness that people and cultures had towards each other has been fading. Discourse with other opinions morphed into the near impossible. It’s all by design and sad to see. It’s a tangible and significant change. When you zoom out at the infrastructure, social and economic level. It’s very hard to see a healthy recovery happening anytime soon. Mostly due to those being in charge not caring. Still lots of beauty there. I would never choose to live there again, but if anyone is still living there and reading this. My advice would be to explore the greenways, parks and forests to be found. The juxtaposition of city and nature gives a heightened appreciation to both realities, and really gives a more balanced/peaceful mindset to explore the good which can be found

00:14 ?️ Canada has a significant homeless population, especially in major cities. The country allocates substantial funds for social services and shelters.\n03:17 ? Canada, known for its multiculturalism, also faces silent and systemic racism. Some statistics indicate disparities in income and hate crimes against certain minority groups.\n05:22 ⚕️ Canada's healthcare system has limitations. Access to family doctors may take time, and specialized care may require convincing. The system struggles to meet the needs of the growing population.\n08:12 ?️ Canada lags in technology adoption due to conservatism, infrastructure challenges, and risk aversion. Critical sectors like healthcare, finance, and telecom have been slow to innovate.\n09:59 ? Canadian taxes, though not the highest, can be complex. Prices are displayed pre-tax, and income figures are pre-tax terms. High-income earners face substantial tax rates.\n12:34 ? Newcomers to Canada face challenges in the job market, often due to a preference for Canadian work experience and licensing requirements in certain professions.\n13:57 ? Canada is experiencing a housing crisis. Limited supply and high demand have led to soaring housing prices, especially in major cities like Vancouver and Toronto.\n16:05 ? Housing quality may not meet expectations, with issues like thin walls and poor insulation. Renters may encounter practical challenges in older buildings.

Hi bro, thank you so much for this video. I got my parent's visitor visa by following this video.\nThe only, thing which was different is my father still works in India, so I showed his pay stubs as he didn't have savings in his account ( just provided account balance), and for my mother, I showed her savings (4 lac. appox.), and added a letter that they both will be using that fund.\nI didn't provide my current job info either in the Invitation Letter or in the doc, just showed my bank statements approx 10k CAD plus the last four months.\nHope it helps others.

I married my spouse and moved to the United States from Canada. Before, I didn't give the US much thought and merely loved travelling to a few of the locations. Having said that, even after spending five years there, I have never witnessed a country and a population as divided as the US. You proudly display your flag, yet you're so racist, illiterate, and a bible-thumper that it disgusts me. The United States is not the most free country in the world, despite what the public believes and thinks. In reality, it is also depressing to observe how the healthcare system handles people. The social safety net is completely missing, and by that I mean that most jobs don't pay for maternity leaves or vacations unless you work at a senior level or for a high-end company. The political system is so rigged that it is understandable why people are tired of voting every two years, and perhaps even every year. Most certainly, especially since your elections begin almost exactly when the previous one finished. I suppose I could go on forever, but I'll stop here. Although Canada is not perfect, is not free from controversy or problems, and is not the best at everything, we are able to concede defeat, acknowledge that someone was wrong or that we might have done better, work together with one another, and express that we are SORRY. Yes, it is a word that is never used in the US, and that is also the issue. I'm pleased to be back in Canada, where I belong, and I regret ever leaving. Yes, returning to Canada feels peaceful and inviting compared to travelling to the US, where every trip involves an interrogation to ensure that you don't remain too long. There is no need to worry because I won't be returning to stay, only visit, as previously.

Bro what you will do by PR or Citizenship, if your pocket do not have money after 10 years live and work in Canada. Just forget about Canada or Australia, love your own country. You will get more comfortable and affordable life in your own country. You guys are very funny ? Canada or Australia; Australia or Canada ?

Visit visa yo right and correct thou there other channels, you could enroll for a short course at any college or university, after you can b legit to apply for a work permit.. You could give in for asylum, looks pretty a long process but also if done tactfully that's one of the most legit ways. Alot of emigrants have different sucesful stories. Still if yo in Canada you can look for work and work illegally to fend for the small probs as u pursue legit paperwork its possible 100 percent thou risky

Well, why not just go back if you don't like it. If socializing & not working is better, then stay home & socialize!?
