Lots of people here feeling left behind. Doesn't feel like there is enough to go around anymore.

It doesn’t help when Ford freezes tuition but allows more student visas. It’s a cash cow for these schools. These “students” end up working taking jobs from our own kids and keep wages suppressed. If universities have to close programs and administration take a big pay cut that could also offer some assistance and yeah put money back into education

Canada doesn't have a population problem. It has a productivity problem.

Listened to your vlog and I want to suggest few things as an immigrant myself... I am not sure of your detials but seems like your husband came back after 2 months leaving you there with family.. I have rarely seen any family settling abroad unless they have seriously burnt all there bridges back home.. if you start with a mindset that let's go and see and if doesn't work out we will come back 90% odds are you will go back.. firstly come with absolutely clear mind that no matter what happens you are not going back.. and you will make it here no matter what. The journey will become much easier and one directional.. Secondly you do not have to rely on any family abroad to move.. this is an other mistake people make.. they think they will have support but this support is actually a limiting option ... it doesn't let you get on feet quicker. Nobody can support you for long abroad and sooner than later you have to get on your feet. once you over stay your welcome you can start getting some unwelcoming vibes and then you get depressed thinking there is no one genuinely yours in this country.. you waste your initial time relying on your family.. better start without them in the first place and get going from day one.. and lastly 2 3 months is nothing to settle any where let alone in Canada.. you have to be patient, persistent and focused and after 2 years and after seeing all the calendar and religious seasons twice, you finally start to think of new place as your home.. its hard but in the end it's truly worth it and then you can never go back to India or Pakistan

WHY is our government allowing universities to recruit international students. Why is the federal government allowing the universality to live off of these cash cows. The educations of these students are sub par. YOU CAN'T FAIL THEM CAUSE THEY PAID FOR THE DEGREE is disgusting. Doesn't say much that all the universities has turned out, in the last 20 years are, self adsorbed cry babies, WOKE gen and the Generation that voted in trudeau.

They need to get rid of those consultants back in foreign countries who misguide kids to take up useless courses in those shady colleges. College/Universities needs to prequalify students before admitting them to a particular course and by that way it’s easy to filter out candidates based on the current job requirements. Having a territorial cap is just a smokescreen by liberals. Canadian economy doesn’t need more sandwich makers or food delivery drivers, be it be in Saskatchewan or Manitoba. Territorial cap is actually gonna backfire because it shuts doors to intellectual kids who would foster innovation and drive the economy. \n\nWe need politicians who could think logically and voters who promotes those !

Honestly that guy was too arrogant he could've just explained why he's required to carry it \n\nEven in india the sikh community doesn't carry a kirpan so big
2024-01-19 1
If colleges don’t have money to survive without high numbers of international students, they should be CLOSED. We don’t need puppy mills.\nA city of 100k doesn’t need 10 colleges with enrollment of 5k students each\nAlso only allow international students in Universities not strip mall colleges

I work for the BC provincial government, and part of my job is to hunt for homes to house women who are escaping violence. After spending 3 months searching for homes in Surrey, I've seen anywhere between 10-22 individuals living in a modest sized home. These homes are often very well run-down, have poor plumbing, and many illegal suites, and I've literally seen people sleeping in closets. Landlords can get away with this because the students from India don't care, don't have a choice, or are used to this standard. What the federal government is doing is unbelievable, allowing many people into the country. Just because international students come from places where they can sleep on top of each other doesn't mean they should allow it to happen here, reducing the living standards for everyday tax-paying Canadians. Despicable.

Palestinian’s security doesn’t have to be the insecurity of Israelites

Almost a million foreign students allowed in country of 34 M people ! Mind boggling to say the least. Why is this problem happening ? Obviously, the minister Trudeau installed to run this, is incompetent, of low ID, or doesn’t care. Don’t blame the schools. Those who run these schools are like us, human beings, being thirsty for “money” is nothing out of the ordinary ! Getting $10K/yr. for a domestic student + subsidy fr. government of say another $10K, is about a third of a foreign student has to pay. Do the math ! Don’t blame them, blame incompetency of people Trudeau put in charge of it.

Why he went that country where knife not allowed publicly ? That's why whole world is hating certain immigrants who doesn't want to respect local values and law.

I'm so jealous of how Arabs never change their culture, they command respect, they have dignity. They are true to their identity, no matter how the world modernized their identity doesn't change. I wish Africans would follow this example concerning their own African identity. \nExcellent answer
2024-01-18 0
Tell them the rest. The Arab world doesn’t like Palestinians and in some cases driving them out. More Palestinians live in Israel than in Egypt. Oh yeah, because they hate and have tried to destroy Israel they still provide Palestine with arms, as a proxy army.
2024-01-18 0
So many ignorant people in the comment section.\nAsk yourself why Egipt doesn't want to take in Palestinans or maybe if you have the time to learn some history, research what what happened in Lebanon because of Palestinian refugees.

I’d have to say I don’t live in Canada and I visited Canada twice for short periods of time\n\nWhat I do notice about Canada is that there isn’t enough employment for Canadians and many of them have to come or choose to come to the United States\n\nIn your case, you were a light skin, European appearing woman, and in Asia, especially Tokyo, you is very popular in the entertainment industry and people are willing to employ you for that look \n\nGetting back to Canada a lot of Canadian actresses And actors wind up, going to the United States for work specially Los Angeles, and doing quite well or Las Vegas, and other entertainment centers in the US because there is opportunity there where there isn’t any Canada\n\nI hate to say this to other Canadians but is backwater when it comes to economic activity it’s had some bright spots at certain times in the last 20 years, but it doesn’t last

Religious countries are backward countries, many of us believe the existing of God but God doesn't expect only religion from us but he expects from us good deeds in our every day lives.

The truth is they don't want the Gazans, because they have a history of causing trouble in other countries. \n\nThis guy also wants the people in Gaza to stay to be killed so they can use them in their propaganda war against Israel. Remember the core of this issue is Muslim hatred of Jews and this guy said it. He wants the pressure to be removed and that pressure is Israel. He wants what Hamas wants, all Jews gone from the Middle East. \n\nHe dodged the question because he doesn't care about the people in Gaza. No other war do people say we can't help refuges until the war ends.\n\nBTW, they are not Palestinians. There isn't any and has never been a state called Palestine. These people were Egyptians.
2024-01-17 0
Don't' come to Canada unless you want to live under a bridge, no housing, high taxes, very cold winters. Justin Trudeau just looking for your vote, he doesn't care about Canadians or immigrants.
2024-01-17 0
These Arabs are just taking and Saudi royal family doesn't want any headache but wants Luxury life.
2024-01-17 0
If a Muslim was able to live at peace without having the hidden agenda of wanting to take over our government, & then force their Sharia on all Canadian citizens, which I'm very grateful hasn't come to that extreme yet, then maybe I wouldn't have my defenses up the second I see a Muslim in public places. Church & State should NEVER come together as one. That would not be fair to all of those who belong to other religions. The only acceptable religions in Canada, are the Reformed kind, where you have the right to practice your religion in secret, so that it doesn't offend other people.

Multiculturalism doesn't work and eventually will destroy any country. here in the UK some of our cities are unrecognisable as British, they look like areas of Pakistan.
2024-01-17 0
Yeah he doesn't care. Israel isn't gonna stop, he knows that. Just playing politics.
2024-01-17 0
No the Arab world doesn't want them because they are trouble wherever they go, the past proves it.

Canada is a country that is built on middle class where a large part of the population are within the same earning range. There are positives to this, less crime, there is not a huge disparity between rich and poor which makes for a more sane environment don’t get me wrong, we still have our crime rate. Now you can see that the professional programs are limited compared to other countries in the universities and highly competitive so that you don’t have so many professionals with high earning power thereby creating a huge disparity. On the other hand, these high earners don’t get a tax return, get any govt cheque, their kids don’t get huge amounts for OSAP instead, they get billed to pay back the govt and that’s how those of you complaining now where able to get govt cheques when you just relocated, support low income homes and newly landed immigrants. There’s free health, good Ammenities, snow is cleared, the roads are salted and de iced, free Education, govt loans and school loans that’s where your tax money goes to. Everyone has an accent that’s your identity why will you feel somehow or intimidated when you are told you have an accent that’s being timid say yes I have an accent it’s African or Caribbean etc. About racism it’s rare never experienced it that’s not saying it doesn’t happen but am gonna call you out if it’s obvious I have been profiled. Yes the weather is harsh did you not look at your map before relocating ?? In all most of these complaints are individual experiences so I won’t invalidate it but don’t trash what you gained from. Retraining and certification is a must especially when you are coming from a certain country and it’s not a bad idea. Am in healthcare and retraining is a must if you didn’t school here cos it’s entirely different talk about work ethics, equipments, software, differentiation in policies, health laws and malpractice laws.\nLook at the brighter side of life and stop complaining migration has its pros and cons position yourself in a place to have a good life, go back to school, get certified, keep retraining and adding value to your certificate.

I understood the arguments into you got into the “indoctrination” and mentioned drag queens. It’s an intolerant attitude. It’s actually progress - all people having equal rights. Equity for all. Being religious, Muslim, Christian, whatever doesn’t mean that your values should be the ones that we all have to live by.

Translation: Saudi Arabia doesn't want the Palestinians in their country.
2024-01-16 0
So the “Arab World” doesn’t want them either. Got it.
2024-01-16 0
Why should they? Western media push that because they share the same religion and because they want the Israelis to get that land that doesn’t belong to them. Of the Arab world took these people in, Israel wins.
2024-01-15 0
Egypt doesn’t want them, Saudis don’t want them, Jordan does want them, no other Arab countries want them, not even Iran because they cause trouble where ever they go. This guy knows this and is designating them to their open air prison.
2024-01-15 2
I was just reading the comments and it's sickening so see how many prejudice people this world has. For all you people that left a negative comment on here WHY WHY . If this channel doesn't interest you just move on.

This video is poorly done and doesn't provide any context. You're not a Torontonian, you weren't born and raised in this city. You're just as bad as mainstream media spreading propaganda. Toronto is still one of the safest cities in the World.
2024-01-15 0
why not going somewhere near Palestine to help them? definitely Canada doesn't support your thoughts and should not. cheers
2024-01-15 0
She forgot racism against Asians and Muslims, and Indians. CANADA brain drain. DOESN'T want to say cause she might get secret repercussions like the people whose bank accounts were frozen from the trucker protest in Ottawa.
2024-01-15 0
Do they don’t support the massacre on October 7th? If Palestinians do and they stay in the war field after Israel told them to leave then they have placed themselves in the war. Oh but HAMAS was preventing them from leaving. So why doesn’t the Arab world help the Palestinians? Israel has the right to defend itself!
2024-01-15 0
Abuminchar doesn't care
2024-01-14 0
Strange ! No one speaks that path of terrorism against civilians chosen by the Palestinians is wrong. Two it’s a difficult World for everyone and everyone doesn’t get what they desire! So acceptance is the basic ingredient.
2024-01-14 0
Susth logo ke liye Canada, USA, Europe nahi hai. You got to learn basics like plumbing, electric works, cleaning house and lawn and yes some knowledge of vehicle break down. Indian education doesn't teach you all of these. So go prepared. And please don't call any country as hell because these countries are way above our league. All the best.
2024-01-14 0
You say that your tolerant, but it doesn't really sound like it. \n All your doing is going back to a country that understands your religion, and your values.

I drive from Chicago.. to visit my gf in Toronto regularly. Toronto has a huge homeless / drug problem. The police also seem indifferent to the sometimes violet issues on the streets. Last time I was there there were crack heads breaking into my GFs private parking garage. Tbh stuff like that doesn't bother me toooooo much as I am from a bigger city, so we have some problems too. But Toronto seems to embrace these problems and don't seem to be doing anything about it.
2024-01-14 0
Sooooo.....the rest of the Arab world doesn't want the Palestinians

Bill C-18 sucks big time. I’m very sorry that you’ve experienced it, you or anyone doesn’t deserve that treatment. Hey, millions of people are working in social media these days instead of a STEM career ?. Science, Tech, Econ, Mathematics careers is not what it used to be, and the wages are lower compared to working in a successful social media ($$$$)
2024-01-14 0
Sounds like it's the right decision for you two! I'm really glad that Canada doesn't have public call to prayer for a minority group, 5 times a day. That would drive everyone else insane.
2024-01-14 0
Bye Felicia. You complain of discrimination against muslims and then in the same breath, shun another minority because your culture/religion says so. Just because it's part of your culture or religion, doesn't make it any less vile. The hypocrisy is disgusting. Let the door hit ya in the arse ya bigots.?

It is an excelent ideea, Why force someone to live if doesn’t feel at home, right ?At least we reduce de manifestations, as far i’m satisfied being here fo more than 40 years and God bless Canada and still praying for the autorities as the Bible TEACHERS us.

As an antitheist, may I suggest you abandon religion, an archaic and superstitious fantasy delusion that most often does more harm than good in the world, and stay in Canada and work to help remedy the ills of the country. Religious people aften profess that religion makes people moral, yet you are clearly bigoted against LGBTQ people, and don't want to make sacrifices to help people in need (ie, all the destitute people in Canada that you want to flee from). It doesn't seem to me that religion is helping you to be better people. If you prefer to keep your religion, then I agree that leaving is best. We don't need more religious fanatics in the West- we already have too many of our own.

Sir , check out Malaysia, KL is a great country and Muslim friendly of course, but also a tolerant society . Check out the Philippines. I live there part time . On the SW corner of Mindanao (Zamboanga ) great town and 1/2 Muslim) people get along fine there usually. I live up in north Luzon - mostly Christian but Muslims are around too . No hassle and respectful. I don’t know your financial situation, however, in the Philippines, the school system is quite good, and private schools are stunningly excellent. I would definitely check out the Philippines and also Malaysia. Both have a great style of life and it doesn’t cost a fortune to live well. Education is quite good and the medical situation is also quite good. In the Philippines, however you have to select the hospital before you become ill in the Philippines, there is the public hospitals, which is fine for minor, scrapes and cut, but I would recommend a major hospital for anything serious. In Malaysia, the standard of medical care is good throughout the country. You could also consider northern Thailand. Southern Thailand is too much into tourism, but northern Thailand has a good mixture of people and religions. Mainly a Buddhist country, but very tolerant towards Christians, Hindus, and Muslims. May God bless your journey through life. Honor, peace and honour your friends and family. I wish you well.

Assalamualaikum wr wb.\n\nI am living as an expat in Saudi Arabia. Since you both mentioned about the choice of doing Umrah more often , choosing Saudi Arabia would be a wise decision along with other factors that you mentioned in the video. An Islamic environment, nice weather especially western and southern parts of Saudi Arabia. Other main cities such as Riyadh and Dammam has a decent winter where temperatures hovers around 10 to 15 deg C for few weeks.Makkah and Madinah itself is a place to live but madinah has a more calm and peaceful atmosphere compared to Makkah. If not, Jeddah which is jus 30 mins to Makkah and 2 hrs to madinah by train. \n\nAnd you will also have quality of life especially the food and housing also and never to worry about halal foods. Education for kids will be on the costlier side, but again you don't have to ay any income tax. If you're on resident visa the only fee that comes is a dependent fee for your family dependent members ,lets say in your case 3. But if you're on premium visa such as investor visa etc i think there are exceptions. Also to take note saudi arabia doesn't offer citizenship. You can be here on resident permit of varying validity depending on the visa you choose to have.

I wish i could muslim country too and enjoy all the privileges i have. I am a a Queer muslim and it was not easy. I am very appreciative of the opportunity that is given to me in the west and not being judged at a work place how i may appear. I am glad you made this video and making the best decision for your family. Even as queer peeson i am supporting drag queen story tiem but you made it sound like it is happening every library and every where. I only read it in news paper and never actually saw it in reality. Leaving Canada doesn't do anything for supporting for Palestinians. You could have used your voice and voting power in support of Palestinians. I do understand it may be best for your children. Again i wish i had what you have.
