Canada looks smaller in the rear view mirror

Stop this bullshit, people come and leave in every country. The number of people coming to Canada is higher than the number of people leaving Canada.

This will take you a little longer to learn but Canada has an Insane amount or restrictions on everything. This is why we don't have any jobs because no one is allowed to do anything.

Only a fool would move to Canada,taxes ,weather,and lousy opportunities plus tremendous pollution and traffic jams in big cities,property taxes are a killer if you own one

life in the u.s. is way better. if you look at all the major cities in canada, they are in close proximities from the major u.s. cities, which means is that the economy in canada is very dependent on the u.s. so unless canada will find ways from getting out of the u.s. influences, which i don't see why should even try that, life in canada will never be better than the mighty next door neighbor, and the same thing goes with mexico as well

People are trying to cross the border from Canada to come in to US. Things are getting bad there.

Why would anyone want to move to a country like Canada and USA with high cost of housing. \n\nI highly recommend Japan or Denmark for good quality of life and affordable housing.

Small population small business! Less opportunities less development! Compare with US the population is 8 times of Canada, and most of the people in Canada are in BC and ON, that’s not healthy at all ! If you talking about housing problems simply its the government policies created the consequences over the years , sufficient land but super slow development due to inefficiency, the housing problem is expected

I travel extensively both in Christian and Islamic countries, definitely Canada has issues, however so many take our freedoms for granted. I wish you luck, but you may very well find that the grass isn't greener on the other side of the fence. As for number 1 I have broke bread with Palestinians and Israelis and unless you have, I would recommend you check out the Westbank. You may be in for a shock.

when you are coming from a place where there is absolute poverty like India than Canada is a heaven. If you have slightly reasonable lifestyle outside canada as in Singapore than it’s much wiser to stay there

Canada is so racist

The privilege of leaving to a place of your choosing because of your parents choices to immigrate here. Canada is imperfect just like everywhere else. (Unless you are privileged financially, living in a bubble) you won't see the imperfections of other countries until you are there among the people long term, because the impoverished are hidden away better and the alternative lifestyles are forced underground because they are not free to be. The irony of you immigrants complaining about Canada... The cost of living is what it is because of YOU. The rent and real estate prices are where they are because of YOU. The job prospects are what they are because of YOU. The fractured social landscape and destruction of traditional Canada happened because of YOU. Canada was doing just fine until everyone starting treating it like a life raft for all the countries of the world that can't take care of themselves.

I was born in the UK but went to Canada as a young child with my emigrating parents in the early 1950’s. Later we emigrated to the US in 1963. I know I would not enjoy the cold winters of Canada at all anymore if I lived there. I lived in FL for 20 years which I enjoyed except for the hurricanes and rapidly increasing home insurance. I live in North Carolina now where the winter is very manageable. I hope you are able to find a place that meets most of the needs you want to find in a different environment. I am very sorry for what is happening in Gaza and like you I believe it is a terrible Genocide by the Israelis. I am not Muslim and do not belong to any organized religion. I just try to live my life in kindness and with love for others. I love nature, animals and our beautiful earth. After 2020, there sure has been a lot of racism stirring up since then. But the ironic twist is most of the racism here in Canada comes from POC's and Asians.

Please please answer did you renounce your citizenship, keep it? How did you close up your CTB accounts etc? Do you still have to file income tax abroad for Canada? You mentioned, Halal, food access, you live in the GTA, which has the greatest amount of Halal food access available. And there’s a fair amount of masks. Think of the people that live in areas where there are no mosques and they have to drive 3040 minutes to get to a Mosque or they have to find a Hello butcher in the city or in the country somewhere because there’s no hello restaurants or groceries where they are. You guys live in a great Muslim area in Canada but I totally understand why you wanna move and have that environment around you 24 seven.

Before moving to Canada, it is good to target the industry. Please consider the nuclear industry. There are jobs there and expect a lot more jobs as Ontario plans to build 4 new Small Modular Reactors that will create thousands of job opportunities. Also, there is refurbishment of existing nuclear generating plants at Bruce Power and Darlington and very soon, Pickering. I 100% support your decision and this is exactly what I think of whenever people ask me whether I'll move to Canada or America once I'm done with my studies, since my studies open the corridor for me to easily settle into another country plus my country is in a pretty bad state economically. Regardless of all that I'd still say I want to live in a Muslim country, even if I leave my own country and work abroad, us and Canada isn't worth it. So much hate and so so much ignorance
