How about you get an education in your own country. I'm Aussie and we set limits on our own people at University and their education so that they can profit of foreign students, most being from China and India even though they have the 2nd and 3rd highest GDP's in the world and 1st and 2nd highest populations in the world, so they should be able look after their own instead of jeopardising the education of our own, but then Goverment will say we need to increase immigration to 400,000 a year ( just hit 27 million, 2 decades before we ment too) of mainly skilled workers who got their skill and education from our nation instead from their own people. All of this during a housing crisis, cost of living crisis, small job market and overwhelming Immigration. Dumbest plan I've ever heard.

Unemployment is rife in India, People do not get jobs matching their qualifications in India, racism and discrimination is rife in India in the Hindutva world, infrastructure is very poor and taxes are high… more than 2 million Indians moved out of the country in the past few years…. Job market is sluggish, Salary not comparable with US, House Rent are so high, buying a house is a distant dream, inflation is high, education standard is poor kids learn more of LGBTQ+ than math or science, infrastructure not spread out like US, concentration is only in Toronto and within 20 km radius, high cost of living for eg. ridiculus auto insurance premiums, groupism & racisim. I dont think people blend in, healthcare serious wait times. I know no country is perfect but Canada lost its charm in recent times because of politics like in India. Overall US is still better but has its own problem like mass shooting & rising cost of living. If you get lucky US is the right option for now compared to europe.

Really they sell a dream, as britishers are institutionalized THIEF, that mean they theft other country resources but using policies and rules. Canada is one of the most beautiful countries.. there are issues in every country. Living in Canada for 13 years has been a wonderful experience. Where I live, you might reach -40 in winter at the same time you can sit inside your home wearing a t shirt. In summer, it turns into paradise. Remember both wife and Husband has to work. Otherwise stay in India.

So when you enter someone's house in India and they give you strawberry cake because they are a good host . Well, Indians just want to take from a system they has no inputs in building over decades...good jobs, PR, social services environment etc. Many are not even real students and simply wish to migrate and bring their entire village. And they do that not just in Canada, but almost all developed western countries. Even in countries like Singapore and UAE. Even their companies hire mostly from India.

India is way more ahead of Canada, India has advance medical services that is fast and affordable, better food , better infrastructure, affordable internet, less expensive life style, more varieties of cuisine, more transportation options , better education- but not better education system, etc no country is perfect Canada needs to work a lot to improve itself.

You should tell us how many Indian immigrants actually went back to India . Not many . I have seen 20% interest rate here and you think 5% interest rate is high . Indian community is the richest immigrant community in North America . People move to United States and move back to Canada which is normal . 17.5% left Canada but 82.5% are still here , what does that tell you ? There is housing shortage and that will be solved in time . A lot of these problems are caused due to covid shutdown and excessive immigrants coming from India . Question should be asked why so many leaving India ? In 2021 and 2022 , about 900000 Indian immigrants came to Canada and 2023 will likely be close to half a million . We Indian may not like cold weather but we are very comfortable in inside house . So far this year I only had to shovel snow twice and not for months . There is no shortage of job opportunities but One need to be flexible of courier . Canada still tops in most standards and consistently in top 10 among all countries of the world .

Immigrants who leave Canada do not have good job or income. They are not employed full time or simply underemployed (at minimum wage). Usually, they try for good job in other countries, such as GCC Countries or - come back to India and get involved in family business.

Depends on where you are from. If you are from a shithole country like India that does not even have footpaths then yes it is worth it to move to Canada.\nIndians who moved to Canada bought houses with any issues like goons (with backing of politicians) occupying their houses. But People who are born and brought up in India are not able to buy plots in outskirts of big cities because they dont know who reliably do verification or how to prevent goons (with backing of politicians) from occupying their plots.\n\nCourt cases about real estate should be resolved in minutes (yes minutes) but it takes decades in India.\n\nSo I repeat, If you are from a shithole country like India that does not even have footpaths then yes it is worth it to move to Canada.

I think if you want to succeed then you will succeed anywhere. I love my country India. But I don’t like the pollution and the rat race children go through . You cannot afford a decent place to stay in big cities if you are not earning really really well. Yes, loneliness is there in Canada but you can make friends , join extracurricular activities. I do hate the health system but also I know that God forbid if I ever have a serious disease , I don’t have to pay for it through my nose like India. This lady is cribbing for nothing at all. I don’t think she wanted to stay. She must have thought here roads are paved with gold. In India also you have to struggle . Go in a packed train to work, come late and cook. You don’t learn any life skills because maid is there.

Toronto’s demographics structure changed dramatically with in especially last 5 years. And it looks like we are not allowed to talk about this. Government says they are welcoming international students from all around the world but 35% is from India. If we add other type of visas percentage goes even higher. Why ? I moved to Canada to live in multi cultural country. Is there anybody in government talk about this subject possible issues in the future?

Many sectors in business are dominated by people from a certain country and they will not anyone work in that field. For example, security guard, and warehouse jobs are only for India. Firefighting jobs are only for someone who's father or brother is a Firefighter. School manager is only Canadian of Europe origin...3. People in ER have been dying in Canada after waiting for 10-12 hours. Canada does not publish these horrible things in india or in any other country to maintain her image . Free healthcare means no health . Aldo, not everytjing is free in healthcare . You need to pay for dental , eyes, mediines , physio , other medical eqipment etc . Canada has been lying too much . We’ve been here since more than a year now and we don’t have a car and we love the pollution free air here and the work life balance. If you live downtown, you don’t need a car as public transport is very convenient. If you don’t want to do things on your own and you definitely need the help from maids and so on, then Canada isn’t for you. It all depends on where you find a house. Very few people in downtown own cars. If you want to live a healthier life, Canada is a good place for that. We came in winters and settled with the help of relatives and thankfully it’s been good so far. Summers are amazing here. Job market is a struggle currently but it’s not permanent. And it is possible to find a job from India if you try for it. If you’re in IT, you don’t need to start from scratch. There are Indian stores almost everywhere and many Indian restaurants as well. You just need to find your place. And it’s an amazing place for plant based vegan people. Food quality is amazing and great safety restrictions. Healthcare also depends on where you live. If you find your people and friends and keep socializing with family, loneliness won’t be there. It’s better to move to a new country when you don’t have kids. \nAlso the accent gradually develops and there’s nothing to worry about. This place is very diverse and there are people with very different accents from all around the world. There is some struggle initially but it all depends on what your priorities are. Life here is very comfortable once you get used to the lifestyle here and the biggest thing is, work life balance and the quality of life. If you want to do things other than your job, this is a good place to do that. Kids also become much more independent here. Rest it all depends on what your goals in life are. Also one of the biggest factors is, if your partner/husband isn’t willing to help with housework or cooking, you can’t survive here. As simple as that. Many factors to consider.

The majority of these international students are from countries like China and India that hate our western way of life.

Never compare a country with another. We are all educated immigrants who decided to immigrate over to Canada. Im from India, Canadians ive dealt with for my last 10 years are super friendly and sweet people. Listened to your vlog and I want to suggest few things as an immigrant myself... I am not sure of your detials but seems like your husband came back after 2 months leaving you there with family.. I have rarely seen any family settling abroad unless they have seriously burnt all there bridges back home.. if you start with a mindset that let's go and see and if doesn't work out we will come back 90% odds are you will go back.. firstly come with absolutely clear mind that no matter what happens you are not going back.. and you will make it here no matter what. The journey will become much easier and one directional.. Secondly you do not have to rely on any family abroad to move.. this is an other mistake people make.. they think they will have support but this support is actually a limiting option ... it doesn't let you get on feet quicker. Nobody can support you for long abroad and sooner than later you have to get on your feet. once you over stay your welcome you can start getting some unwelcoming vibes and then you get depressed thinking there is no one genuinely yours in this country.. you waste your initial time relying on your family.. better start without them in the first place and get going from day one.. and lastly 2 3 months is nothing to settle any where let alone in Canada.. you have to be patient, persistent and focused and after 2 years and after seeing all the calendar and religious seasons twice, you finally start to think of new place as your home.. its hard but in the end it's truly worth it and then you can never go back to India or Pakistan

I work for the BC provincial government, and part of my job is to hunt for homes to house women who are escaping violence. After spending 3 months searching for homes in Surrey, I've seen anywhere between 10-22 individuals living in a modest sized home. These homes are often very well run-down, have poor plumbing, and many illegal suites, and I've literally seen people sleeping in closets. Landlords can get away with this because the students from India don't care, don't have a choice, or are used to this standard. What the federal government is doing is unbelievable, allowing many people into the country. Just because international students come from places where they can sleep on top of each other doesn't mean they should allow it to happen here, reducing the living standards for everyday tax-paying Canadians. Despicable.
