All what you said is 100% true. I've been living in Canada non-stop since 1998. Back then things were different but not as much. Slowly but surely Canada is a living proof that multiculturalism is a failed model. Europe recognized this long ago.

I am Turkish-Canadian. I don’t practice Islam but I am Muslim. I believe in one god Allah. We left Canada and live in California now. After all these unfairness to Palestine done by USA, I don’t want to live here. My husband is Pakistani-Canadian but he is also not practicing Muslim. We still though feel unfairness to Muslim people here. I believe Canada was a little bit better than USA. I don’t see myself living all of my life in USA. I would love to return to Turkey or live in Dubai. My only concern is my children’s education.

I would also like to leave Canada because I am tired of the hatred towards muslims. I have to decide where to go. I wish you both a lot of luck and happiness and I hope you find your place in the sun, Insha Allah, Ameen.

The narrator constantly misrepresents the facts and does not provide any basis for his statements. Dom does not explain anything with accuracy or depth, he cherry-picks headlines that support his flawed narrative. He even contradicts himself, the news headlines that he uses are from news sources that are owned by an American hedge fund, a total self-own. Dom needs to do his homework.

The weather and no possibility to make new friends made me leave Canada back in 1986. And believe me, there was already a lot of povery in Toronto, people were not living on the streets, that was the only difference. Criminality was very low and cost of living was much better than nowadays.

Canada about 20 years ago and before that actually use to be a really nice place to live in. However Canadians voted in two disastrous political leaders that have ruined Canada. Stephen Harper and especially Canada has really gone downhill under the disastrous,evil, incompetent leadership of Justin Trudeau. Moral of the story is this. Where ever you are in the world choose your political leaders wisely otherwise if you choose poorly once great place to live in like Canada once was can be turned into a hellhole by terrible political leaders and their underlings..

I can confirm that income and sales taxes in Canada are not high by world standards when looking to countries beyond the USA. Where I live in Poland, income taxes might appear lower on paper (12% and 32%), but there is an additional healthcare premium of 9% that is above and beyond income taxes that ultimately makes the 'taxes' paid about the same. Not to mention 23% sales taxes that many don't think about as it is included in the price.

life in the u.s. is way better. if you look at all the major cities in canada, they are in close proximities from the major u.s. cities, which means is that the economy in canada is very dependent on the u.s. so unless canada will find ways from getting out of the u.s. influences, which i don't see why should even try that, life in canada will never be better than the mighty next door neighbor, and the same thing goes with mexico as well

People are trying to cross the border from Canada to come in to US. Things are getting bad there.

The reason behind all these factors except the last one is socialism. No matter if comes from the right or the left. But a decade of government under Trudeau's policies only made it worse. Small population small business! Less opportunities less development! Compare with US the population is 8 times of Canada, and most of the people in Canada are in BC and ON, that’s not healthy at all ! I travel extensively both in Christian and Islamic countries, definitely Canada has issues, however so many take our freedoms for granted. I wish you luck, but you may very well find that the grass isn't greener on the other side of the fence. As for number 1 I have broke bread with Palestinians and Israelis and unless you have, I would recommend you check out the Westbank. You may be in for a shock.

Canada is so racist

The privilege of leaving to a place of your choosing because of your parents choices to immigrate here. Canada is imperfect just like everywhere else. (Unless you are privileged financially, living in a bubble) you won't see the imperfections of other countries until you are there among the people long term, because the impoverished are hidden away better and the alternative lifestyles are forced underground because they are not free to be. The irony of you immigrants complaining about Canada... The cost of living is what it is because of YOU. The rent and real estate prices are where they are because of YOU. The job prospects are what they are because of YOU. The fractured social landscape and destruction of traditional Canada happened because of YOU. I'm from England and have been in Canada 12 years. I completely agree about being isolated, I'm in Manitoba and will be leaving here for good within the next year and heading back to Europe, I've had enough. Canada is also very boring and in my time here I'm so grateful to all the new immigrants I've met from China, India, Philippines, Vietnam etc.. who have been very friendly and kind to me.

Big decision to make when you have children but i must say you guys are very brave. Wishing you guys the best of luck wherever you decide to go . I also left Canada and living in Cuba for the past 9 years and these were the reasons i wanted to be in a country that i can be free of debt, cost of living , safe no drugs no guns and almost no crime believe me super happy here living like a king .

I was born in the UK but went to Canada as a young child with my emigrating parents in the early 1950’s. Later we emigrated to the US in 1963. I know I would not enjoy the cold winters of Canada at all anymore if I lived there. I lived in FL for 20 years which I enjoyed except for the hurricanes and rapidly increasing home insurance. I live in North Carolina now where the winter is very manageable. I hope you are able to find a place that meets most of the needs you want to find in a different environment. I am very sorry for what is happening in Gaza and like you I believe it is a terrible Genocide by the Israelis. I am not Muslim and do not belong to any organized religion. I just try to live my life in kindness and with love for others. I love nature, animals and our beautiful earth.
