It's incredible and sad. They're always all Latinos. USA & Canada got their own problems and it's wrong to use children as 'pawns'.?

We have such a porous border in Canada. Problem is Justin Trudeau and his pack of corrupt Liberals want more and more “refuges” not skilled....with an education coming into Canada. You see....people who vote Liberal are morons...the “free stuff” they get from the Liberals are paid for with more and more Liberal taxes. Liberal voters think Justin dips into a trust fund or something...yes Liberal voters are really that stupid....they don’t realize more Liberals mean more wasteful taxes. So Justin wants refugees...who he can put on welfare for their lives, become citizens, AND bring in dozens of their relatives to begin the process again....why because they vote Liberal in perpetuity. We are never going to break this cycle. Where is the line to emigrated to the United States.....oh, I’m educated with a masters degree. Not valued in Canada, because I was born here, and I’m white....I feel so ashamed!

Canada is soo weird. University students who spend 100k+ on education and are in the Canadian system are having problems getting residency, whereas shady people who get here illegally or get residency by immoral do it without much problem. I mean not even illegals but some south asians who are literally scamming and exploiting the system, have no problem and then when you take people from very low income class enter your country and who do uncivilized things you are astonished what else you are expecting a lot of them are uneducated who are not civilized, make your screening process better, if you want immigrants due to labour shortages and slow population increase, try to incorporate students and potential people who have more chances to fit your society. This trend will lead to an anti-immigrant narrative. We have seen a similar trend in Europe. They took the worst people in who were problematic in their countries to begin with

Canadian here, and this video is right on the money for some of the most frustrating things about Canada! \n\nOur proudest achievement is our healthcare system, but up until recently, the government has been choking it little by little. Making it so difficult for any Doctor/Nurse to even consider finding work here (and making it impossible to afford getting a medical degree) because you are literally doing it for the love of the game at this point. \n\nEven if you become a specialist in a specific field (which pays really well compared to most careers here) it is unlikely any hospital will hire you. Our hospitals are only interested in making profits by pushing painkillers on Canadians, rather than hiring medical professionals to help fix them. If you become a family Doctor, it is a bit better, because you can open your own practice. But kiss your social life goodbye if you do! The most annoying part of this problem is some people blame all this on the fact that we have healthcare and assume a private American system would be better. Where the real problem is we need more workers and funding into our healthcare to make it better. Not making lives harder for poorer Canadians!\n\nWeirdly enough our Tax system issue didn't stand out as a problem to me until I left Canada and see how taxes are marked elsewhere! It blew my mind that I didn't have to do math when I visited another country and the way we advertise wages is purposely deceptive! In Ontario, we succeeded in getting a $14 hour minimum wage (only in Ontario and maybe one other province). Which sounded amazing until you realize that's $14 without tax... To compare, I was incredibly lucky in Toronto where I found a place for 750 a month and was earning $16 an hour. Sounded like more than enough for the cost of living, but after taxes I was pretty much putting more than half my monthly income in rent. On top of that I had to pay for student loans and other bills. \n\nBottom line, if you are wanting to move to Canada for our beautifully scenic environments, free healthcare, and a stable job? \n\nMove to Finland.

Canada actually has a stricter policy on refugees than the US. Although detention of asylum seekers is provided for under Canadian law, the criteria for its use appear to be tighter than in the US. In 2017(one year after Trump's administration), Canada had 6251 immigration detainees 2017 compared with 323,591 held by the United States that same year. And the US has insanely more cases of refugees than Canada. Canada's immigration policy has a preference for economic benefits, and the approval criteria for refugee claims are stricter too. Take a look at the Express Entry Programme. Most of the applicants have to get a master's degree to be granted a PR in Canada, but the US is more favourable on Family reunions or Refugees. Although Canada has its own problems, such as housing issues and a healthcare system that might worsen by increasing immigrants, in general, I think the US should learn something more on Canada's immigration policy which is on a talent basis.

No problem! Justin Castro will expedite payments of 1 million dollars (tax free of course) for each illegal, accompanied by a teary eyed official Canada apology for the inconveniences they have endured. The funds will come directly from the endless generosity of Canadian tax payers and Justin will enjoy every minute of the apology ceremony. Happy now that you voted for this ?

I thought the US and Canada had a legal agreement not to accept immigrants coming to Canada from the USA? I have no problem people seeking asylum and I feel we have a duty to process them. I have a problem if they come through the US as they should be processed there and applying for immigration to Canada.

The fact that this was allowed to exist at all is a crime against the legal citizens of Canada. The politicians that have allowed this to carry on should be arrested and tried for Treason. I'm sorry if the country you where born in is a complete sh*thole but that is not our problem. Stay there and make changes there before considering moving.

Although I've been against illegal immigration (but NOT legal immigration), we have got to realize that it is the politicians of our day who have caused this problem, not the immigrants. If you were given a promise of a better life than you currently have, with no strings attached, wouldn't you take it? The current politicians RULING Canada (not governing) have allowed this situation to continue only so as to line their political pockets with people willing to thank them by voting for them in the next election. Canadians be damned ... the politicians could care less about you or me.

NOTHING has changed!! The RCMP still let them in and just say that they “might” be returned to the US. As for the illegal immigrants- they still feel 100% entitled to come to Canada, enter illegally, and live the easy life “for free” at the expense of Canadian taxpayers. Not only that, but once they are in Canada, they then send for the rest of their family. Got eleven kids? No problem, just walk across at Roxham Road because everything is for free for everyone in Canada.

Wow Canada will control it's borders and American politicians and liberals have no problems? But if Americans want their boarders secure it Racism.? Pleas explain how this works because it really doesn't make sense.

Nice! move the problem to another location 10-15 mins away, how the hell will that solve anything, we already feel like we're immigrants in our own country. I keep saying it, the Government of Canada should poll resources with the USA, Build huge biodomes up north near Churchill or something... minimizing the risk of escape. Keep them there for two years while they work in the biodomes tending crops in the biodomes, while being educated in the form of teaching them our ways and speak English and French, If after two years they have not been able to, pack them in a plane and ship them back to where they came from and let their own government take care of them.

Hi! Great video and generally balanced in terms of the ideas expressed. Having lived in Canada for a very long time, I have to say that it's a good place to be but the two glaring problems are: 1- the healthcare system is broken. It's very hard to see a doctor and even harder to see a specialist. We pay a lot of taxes and at the end of the day we don't get the services that we paid for. I'd rather pay out of pocket but get to see a doctor when I need one. 2- Canada is a Nordic country so you'd better like winter when living here. By contrast in the US you have a variety of climates so easier to find something that works for you. The cost of living is, I agree, very high in Canada, but it all depends. If you compare it to living in California or New York City, I'd say that our cost of living is cheaper. But in the US you do have the choice to live in a more affordable mid-size city, while in Canada options are much more limited (big cities only include Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver and Calgary).

Canada need to tell Biden to wake the F-up and close the United States Border between the U.S. and Mexico so Canada doesn't have this problem
|
| 2023-03-22 | 0 |
Just saying if Trump was in office, USA and Canada wouldn't be having these problems, but but the mean tweets were too much for our feelings.
|

Sounds like a PERSONAL problem for Canada ???♂️
|
| 2023-03-21 | 0 |
This problem arose from the southern states not following democratic policies in which the democrats were allowing illegal immigrants into the the US.. the southern republican states said F that and sent these immigrants up north to the democratic states and now here they are trying to enter Canada
|
| 2023-03-21 | 0 |
Good, let them be Canada's problem lol
|

Sadly they will destroy that beautiful country Canada if this continues the mass migration in America has destroyed it and its resources well our leaders also did a pretty good job is that but anyways Canada tighten your belt up crackdown or you're going to wind up with the same problem America has
|

Have fun Canada, you mocked us for being racist for not letting these people in. Now they are your problem. This will help with our overpopulation problem

I’m Colombian and it’s sad to see people from my country lying to the authorities to get documentation. \nI know everyone wants a better life and definitely my country is not the best place for low /middle income families; however, we should understand that US or Canada have no obligations to legalize anyone. There are already so many problems to handle in their territories and with their citizens.

Oh okay, CNN will say its a problem when they cross from the US to Canada but has nothing to say when the cross from Mexico to the US. Typical full of ?CNN???

As a Canadian this irks me so much. It is a slap in the face to all Immigrants that came to Canada through legal channels.\nI think the message this sends is: Fuck going the legal way, this is way easier.\n\nI've heard the Premier of Quebec say this is a huge problem for his province, it costs the Govt of Quebec a lot of money to house, feed, and provide medical care to these illegal aliens.\n\nHard to believe that Jelly Ass Trudeau not only encourages these people to come here illegally but welcomes them.\nAs PM the first thing I would have done is erect a huge fence to discourage these illegals.

CNN wirh apples and oranges again.. No comparison, except that Canada is starting to share our problem.. Media killing people all over the planet, just for views.. smh

What a joke, You'll be given a Tim Horton coffee double double and a 2 bedrooms appartment for free, oh let me help you with your luggages..... and then we wonder why the crime rate goes up . Welcome to our 3rd world country !!!! take my tax payer money no problem !!

Negotiations, meaning let’s try to get the U.S. to pay for it even though it’s Canada’s problem.
|
| 2023-03-19 | 0 |
Sorry but no USA, no Canada or Europe cares about illegal immigrants because there is a work shortage everywhere and in every profession, those countries need them, and will have economy problems without them. Maybe in 1 year they stop that for just a year and start all over again.
|
| 2023-03-19 | 0 |
Third World people bringing their third world problems into the US and Canada because they can’t get their act together in their homelands.
|
| 2023-03-19 | 0 |
CNN news is a joke. The problem with migrants crossing into Canada is not as bad of a problem as the migrants crossing in from Mexico. Why won’t you go do news on that instead and actually tell the truth. I’m sick of living one thing and cnn reporting another.

Canada and the us should destroy the Venezuelan and Nicaraguan government and this problem would be over.

COME! COME ILLEAGLES! BRING YOUR FENTANYL! WE'LL BUS YOU TO CANADA! JOE BIDEN IS LAUGHING ? NOW AMERICA'S PROBLEM IS YOURS! HO! HO! HO!

This is sad, illegal immigrants crossing without any problem while citizens are leaving Canada bc no housing and the cost of living is so high, plus taxes are crazy, among other issues. God help Canada, ?? is going down the tubes
|
| 2023-03-18 | 0 |
They should target the problem from the source the us and Canada can’t take in every person from South America. We should intervene there instead of the Middle East . But that’s just an opinion
|
| 2023-03-18 | 0 |
Welcome to Canada, we'll arrest out own citizens, but not illegal aliens. I understand the struggle of immigrants, but we have our problems we need to deal with. Like veterans with zero income being offered assisted suicide before being offered mental health help
|

Good news let Canada deal with this problem

As long as they are willing to contribute and better Canadian society I see no problem with this. There people born in Canada who refuse to work. If these refugees people are ready to fill in those roles why stop them?
