Lived in Canada my whole life, everything costs so much im lucky if i have $50 left over after i pay everything.

I came to Canada with the hope of a better life and it was a better life for a while until I had to deal with work politics and quit my job. And the so called healthcare system? I gave birth to a girl here who devloped cancer (never have we had that in any branch of our families) then died here from errors that could have been avoided. The taxes? High to support services that dont really benefit. The culture? Outwardly welcoming but inwardly judgemental. The weather? Has nothing on anywhere else in the world. So is Canada really worth it? Make the dollars and buy land in your country's home town. Visit Canada for a seasonal summer job then live at home peacefully among those of your culture and grow your own land.

We are baptist and very very few churches preach the same things we preach here.. so can understand how you feel. We also hold similar beliefs to man and woman etc. It is discouraging being in a country claiming to be for peace and love when they're actually very hateful (mostly to religious ppl or disabled )\n\nGood for you protecting your family. As someone born and living in Canada I'd love to live in Singapore. I'd pay a premium to live in a country where the government was run by serious people and there weren't deranged homeless people everywhere, there was law and order, pro capitalist laws, etc. Housing and living expenses are awful in Canada, but I'd honestly be fine with that if I thought it was worth living here, or I saw a future in this country. I'm not criticizing you for moving to Canada though. If you like it here I think that's great.

Quality of life and public services are far far far better in canada. Yes your average canadian income is far less then those in the US, most jobs and opportunities are better in US but whenever I visit the states and I see their average US citizen, their quality of life, the culture and environment I’m happy to say that you’re better off in canada. Much safer and much cleaner!

Unchecked influx of unskilled, unvetted, and uneducated immigrants is driving out skilled, educated, and vetted immigrants. Did these people not do any research? Did they just jump a plane and immigrate to another county without knowing what it's like? If I decided to immigrate to India, you can be sure I would have investigated everything and made a visit or two to check things out first, lined up a job and then make my decision. If they made the wrong decision, it's no one's fault but their own--not Canada's.

Canada is now full of non Canadian citizens of convenience- chinese, indians, arabs, africans, latinos - all there for the benefits. Last visit to toronto and Vancouver saw and heard only non canadians. Glad to hear they're all leaving. Population replacement is never a good thing. For the next 60 years evety stays in their home country and improves it. Will be a more pleasant world.

I was bornin Canada and lived there for 45 years up until last November. I left to South East Asia and it's so much better out here than in Canada. I only go to Canada for 3 months back to White Rock just outside of Vancouver for the Summer. Canada is now just a Summer Vacation place for me.

Many of these immigrants obtained their desired education, obtained a Canadian passport as backup security and then they’re moving on to what they view/perceive as better financial prospects elsewhere. Many immigrants arrive pregnant , have their children here in Canada and the child receives a Canadian passport. They’ve also reached the minimum number of years to become eligible for government OAS. \nStop all whining and complaining! These new immigrants who have contributed absolutely nothing to the infrastructure hospitals, schools, bridges, roads, highways….are complaining! Bloody hell!
