Last 10+ years india has risen so much and these so called first world countries have fallen down. So the gap between US/Canada and india has been narrowed down. Illegal immigration, high taxes, crime etc are on highest right now in US and Canada. That is why india is a better choice right now!

We are failing to properly process these peoples legal requests for asylum, because the immigration department has been defunded and chronically understaffed on purpose.\n\nAccording to both US and international law, we have a legal obligation to accept, process and grant asylum requests as quickly as possible. Unfortunately we are not honoring this important legal obligation, and have chosen instead to put barrier after barrier in place, and leave these poor people to languish for months, and years in an unsafe country. \n\nWe have failed these people, and we have broken both US an international law, making these people, who have already endured unspeakable horrors, suffer needlessly, because the religious right are hateful, selfish, racist hypocrites, who have forgotten where their families have come from, and have dishonored the very principals that this country was founded upon. Im a software engineer graduating from the top CS program in Canada and I wont be able to pay off my debt and buy for a home for at least a few years if i stay here. Im renting an old 2 bedroom in Waterloo for $2000+ and barely able to save Fter OSAP payments, food, car bills etc. Candadas quickly becoming a slave farm. Planning to move to Qatar or the Turkey hopefully if things go well

I'm Canadian born and raised.The main problem is too many people are left leaning so we have the same problems as California,to much bureaucracy,high taxes,crime,homelessness,drugs etc that's all a biproduct of liberalism.High taxes are needed to fund left wing policies like the climate scam,giving billions to ukraine,womens groups,gay groups etc the useless bureaucrats have to justify their position so millions of unnecessary and pointless policies are imposed.I'm a welder and the bs you have to go through is so extream many just give up and do something else.As for immigrants it effects them too so we have doctors driving cabs or nurses working at mcdonalds etc these problems really started to be an issue when Canada got progressive in the mid 90s and never recovered.I heard 50k of born and raised Canadians have been leaving every year for the last 3 years with no end in sight.My countrymen need to wake up and dump left wing thinking and bring back the conservatism from the past that built this country or there won't be a Canada.

i've been living in vancouver all my life (43 years) and trust me, it wasn't like this before.. sure, it wasn't perfect but since trudeau and his liberal minions took over in 2015, everything started to go downhill and canada became a hellhole.

Our company moved to Canada and tried for >2 years and spent several millions Canadian dollars and got nothing in Canada. So many approvals and also there’s a horrible carbon tax! However when we moved to Texas, we finished the first project in 5 months and start to earn money! Now we are expending our business to other states. And there’re quite a few projects are working as cash cow. Crazy and sad expensive!

I can understand why people want to leave or not come to Canada, weather, cold weather can last up to six months and the summer isn’t always that great. Another reason, taxes…. Canadians are taxed to death here, you are taxed on everything here and if you make good money and aren’t paying enough taxes, you could pay a good chunk come tax time. Job market sucks, there are lots of jobs but these jobs don’t pay the greatest. Cost of living has skyrocketed over the years and in my personal opinion, since Justin Trudeau has been PM, everything has doubled in cost, so many people are struggling, many young couples can’t afford a house, rent has been on the rise over the years and so many people rely on the food banks, the highest it’s ever been in Canadian history, crime has gone up and drug use has also gone up and oddly enough, ever since Trudeau has been in charge and I’m sure some will disagree with this but Canada was never like this before Trudeau.

Maricultural can do that to a city. High crime. This didn't happen 50 years ago I wonder way.

New Canadians complaining the most now imagine the Canadians born here or living here for at least 20 years, we have seen the best country quickly becoming one of the worst in a short time, mass immigration was big part or the deterioration.

No minus temperature. \nDoesn’t get below 10 degrees celsius from what I know. \nClosest Muslim country to Canada and USA from the east coast.

The government and the people of Indonesia support Palestine, so it would be far easier for you guys to support Palestine when you lived here. \n2. There's no lgtv agenda in our education curriculum, same sex marriage is not allowed here. \n3. Islamic environment, well Indonesia is the biggest Muslims population in the world around 237 million ppl and also the country with the most amount of masjid (mosque) by far 800.000 roughly. And halal certified products is everywhere, even our mineral water is certified halal. And of course for sister sana and your daughters its free to wear hijab. \n4. Cost of living is way cheaper than Canada, and it's even cheaper than the middle East. \n5. It's a tropical country, with A LOT of beautiful beaches (and also 5 sholat time through out the year doesn't change a lot, very different than Canada). \n\nInshaAllah this will a beneficial information for you guys.

i am from ameirca moved to egypt lived there off and on for 10 years last time was 5 years to sum it up it not worth it........ the culture in egypt is very harsh and unislamic. the athan has been lowered so you can barely hear it unless you are living right next to the masjid. your Eids and jumuahs are Gov. controlled meaning jumuah is precisely 25 mins no more than that, you stay longer in the masjid because you want to have time alone you will be scorned and be seen as a terrorist. the cleaners may even tell you to get out as well.\n your daughters will be told that the hijab is not compulsory and how dare you wear niqab in university. you will never be treated as equals even if you have Egyptian parents but were raised abroad. The economic situtation is in shambles, dont exspect safe places for your children play or just be, pedos are rampant ( I know cause i put one in prison) you want to go the beach? lol half them dont accept women in islamic swimsuits ( or anything remotley resembling it) it is a bikini only beach the other half are dirty and a down right hazard.\nthere is more i can write but my sincere advice to anyone is to visit a place abroad thats great, but living is a different ball game i wasted 10 years of my life searching for a life that didnt exist and i wouldnt want that for anyone else. change your life where you are, and make your utopia where you are.

I came to Toronto when I was 11. 43 years later, my wife and I are getting out. We are even looking at getting out of Ontario, possibly Canada. It is impossible to afford to live here, and jobs aren't available if you don't look too diverse... there are tons of empty boarded up stores increasingly in the GTA and it reminds me of parts of Buffalo in the early 80s. It has changed too much for me. Thanks for sharing, we realize we are not alone.

As a born and raised Canadian of immigrant parents, i have definitely noticed the increasing influx of people leaving this country in recent months. This issue has popping up more in the news, just around this year. Canada needs immigrants, thats true for the long term it will benefit the country, but right now its more of the drawbacks that are manifesting. Accepting More immigrants means that more resources are needed, that means and so many tax paid social services and benefits like housing, healthcare, welfare, citizenship applications, waitlists, wait times, lineups, everything is getting longer and pushed back. I get what everyone feels.

Salam am a Muslim 16 year old and I lived in Saudi ever since I was one but moved to Australia at 11 because of how expensive the residence card was my dad lived there for over 20 years and mum for around 11 and we viewed it as a truly amazing country its very safe and people are very helpful and kind everything id also islamiclly led when you're walking in the streets you can litterly feel the islamic spirit am talking about 4/5 years ago I dont know about now but it was the best we used to go madina every eid mecca was close so we went when we could went roude trips around Jeddah and jizan its the best think about it your kids growing up in a society where there is no alchahol, lgbtq,dr**s and islamaphobs its a qiute exspensive place but its truly amazing. I leaved in Canada for over 20 years and noticed the drastic changes you mentioned. I still have 4 of my kids in Canada, They are grown up and have their own families now. As I traveled to few places for professional raison I always been on family status because I wanted to be close to my wife and 6 children. The best place I liked is the sultanate of Oman. It’s a conservative Islamic environment and people are very respective, very nice and welcoming. The only thing that bothers a bit is the heat in summer time but other than that it’s the best place in the world. By the way 3 of my children are planning to leave Canada to one of the gulf countries and I wish them good luck. May Allah guide you to the right path and place to rise your kids and practice your faith at ease.

The inaction of our government is enabling these people. \nI am not against legal asylum seeking but what is happening now is illegal and nothing is being done by the authorities. \nCan you believe legal immigration applicants are waiting years in the system because all the attention was shifted to these illegal crossings.\n\nNo country has open borders like this.

From a 12 year old girl, who wanted to explore London, study in UK and constant and full heartedly prayers... I came to UK when I was 27... But I had to face a new me here.. after my course completion, where I stand now, and still having the opportunity to continue here . I decided to choose a middle eastern country .. most importantly for my Imaan and my child's good upbringing. Though I get questioned from everyone around here for choosing to leave this country, I know what I want.. and I need what I seek.. Allah has answered my prayer and gave me the chance to be here and he also gave me all the lessons for me to understand what I need and I chose to leave UK. So proud of my decision

I move from one country to another every five years because of the nature of my job. As a practising Muslim with children here are some of the countries I’ve lived in which you guys should consider :\n- Turkey is very developed and your family will have to make less adjustments in terms of quality of life. If you can speak Turkish then you are good to go.\n-Morocco has a very rich culture and the economy is relatively stable.\n- Malaysia is beautiful and has great community sense. Very helpful people. The main adjustment will be with the eastern culture which is very conservative. The cuisine is also very unique.\n- Qatar and UAE are both similar in the sense that finding jobs won’t be a problem and lots of people understand and speak english. Also these two countries are developed and the \n education standards are the highest I have seen in countries following sharia. Also these countries are less strict than Saudi Arabia which is my native country. I really hope you two \n aren’t considering it. Your girls will not grow up happy in Saudi. Trust a women who has done it. I love my religion but inshallah no child should go through that environment because her \n parents were attracted to the holy land.\n-Lastly this is a rather outlier in this list but you should consider India. There are mosques everywhere in almost every city and even the Hindus fondly wake up to the azaan. Most \ninclusive non-Muslim country I have lived in. My children loved it. We lived in one of the many Muslim communities near a mosque in a city called Hyderabad which was ruled by a Muslims for hundreds of years. Even though they have their own languages nearly everyone speaks english. The schools are great. The police create spaces for Muslims to worship on the roads so that traffic doesn’t disturb them. Very inclusive and the city itself is beautifully developed. The job market is great and it is a very affordable place to raise a family.\n\nI hope you guys check these places out. I’ve only listed the countries which I felt were the best options but I’ve lived in almost all the countries with a sizeable Muslim population. Best wishes to you folks from the Sayyid family. You are right, all over the world there's inflation but in Canada there's no savings, huge tax, no job security all over Canada, where we can get lay off after years of hard work in a company. Canada encourages people to be in debts, tons of credit cards. As a Muslim I think the same for the upbringing of kids in Canada which is very difficult almost impossible. Your number 1 reason to leave Canada is something I have been seriously thinking of too. When I first came to Canada it played a peace-keeping role. Gone are those days, it’s tearing me apart, being a part of such a country. I came from India about 40 years ago. And, everyone knows what is the present condition of India. I would leave in a heartbeat to Malaysia or somewhere else warm but my son has set roots (but, not happy with the direction this country is taking) in this country so he’s not moving anywhere so as an extension I am here.\n\nYou are making a good decision to move while your children are still young.\n\nGood luck wherever it’s that you are moving.\n\nCanada is losing a hard-working, entrepreneurial family, while at the same time they are bringing in people who really have no loyalty to this country. \n\nI totally agree with all you are saying…

Hello Saleh family, I have been following you for over two years now; I am not american or canadian but a physician and mother of two from a third world country in the Caribbean. I started following you because I was curious about the muslim faith and your way of life. I started following different muslim people (and jewish, vegan, homeless and more... basically anybody different than me) and after some time I saw that we were all humans in search of the same things in life. I completely agree with your decision of moving but was very disappointed in your comments towards the drag community. A person in drag reading a children's book is not indoctrination. A person in drag reading to kids is only teaching them acceptance and tolerance (exactly what you want the world to give to your girls who most likely wear a Hijab). A person in drag is an artist who finds joy and self worth in certain clothes, hairstyles and makeup... it is a person a human person with the same value as everyone else. It has nothing to do with sexuallity or sexual orientation... if we truly want freedom for Palestine, if we truly want to change the narrative and to prevent 75+ years of brutal occupation and racism ever happening again; we have to change the way we see our differences... is not enough to ignore and respect people who are different: we have to accept them and recognize their humanity and their worth; to value and foster acceptance and integration in the younger generations... that is the only way forward, that is the only way we will all secure a better future for our kids. I lived and studied in Canada for 3 years in early 90. Canada was a wonderful country. I am sorry to hear that the society is deteriorating. In my country Indonesia, my students and other young peoples are more religious than when I young. \nI hope you find a country where you can feel at ease and raise your children according to Islam as you wish.

We're In the US and we are thinking of the same. Palestine did it for us as well.. we pay 60k in tax dollars every year, and we will not take part in our tax money being used for genocide.

Where are you going to? You didn't mention the place. I was planning to go to a different country for couple years, but I thought education would be very expensive in other countries like Turkey. If there are any countries English schools are cheap and affordable, let me know.

I so adore your courage to make such decision, I’ve been fighting myself for a while now to leave US, the problem is that don’t know where to go with my family, I’ve a four-year girl and every time I think about her future in USA, I get panicked.
