I am shocked to learn that people coming on Tourist visa (from developing countries) to Canada can apply for Job here and once hired can change visa status while in Canada. Never have I ever heard about this while staying in UK on work permit for 4 years that UKBA /Home Office has ever approved such low quality visa that Trudeau is flexible about. Neither Harper's/Kenney's administration (under which I immigrated to Canada back in 2014) has ever approved such cockamamie change of visa status. This is unfair to those who paid all legal fees/been working hard and never relied on the benefits proposed by the Canadian..yikes!Turdo has made Canada into a 3rd world dump...

There's a job shortage not a labour shortage.There are millions of unemployed and under employed people that would love to fill high paying jobs and trades but can't due to bureucratic barriers.Ask the doctor driving a cab in toronto or the lady with a masters degree who makes your latte.Companies should train people not pawn that off to the college's.The myth is these low to no slilled immigrants are supposed to generate wealth for Canada yeah? It's been 54 years of imposed mass migration where's the pay off? If they could why didn't they do it back in their own country? As an immigrant from Europe (not a country with a high level of poverty or a war), I arrived here in 2016 and I can say I love Canada, a very welcoming country. While I see lots of immigrants returning to their countries or going to other places, this country is amazing, offering tons of possibilities to entrepreneurs, business people and with a wide variety of possibilities. Yes, housing is an issue but it is in many rich countries. I also see a lot of people like me, happy about what they have and what they built. I travelled the world (Australia, Europe, Middle-East, Africa and Asia) and I can guarantee, there is no perfect place. So find the place that suits you best. Do not expect perfection. It does not exist.

Canada it's enough, the people and the poverty. The country itself, donations and church. Technology is the help. Waterworks, sewage treatment plant, energy, automatic work, even private. Be it with solar, magnetic field or hydrogen, motor or encoder. I really want to finally help our people in this world. Small country houses built and properly expanded do not have soup and at night they have to fight for survival on the streets again. The technology makes follow-up costs unnecessary but creates the opportunity to help in the long term. People also have dreams, even the poor ones. You just have to give everyone a fair chance in this whole commercial system. Help those who need it, they are from your own people or do you want to be just as hypocrites as the laws and systems themselves Humanity. Even technology and you can grow food yourself, also learn for others and continue to help others. Small gardens and notice that they are really being helped, new courage means hope and continue to help others, get involved in systems and pass on good knowledge. Whether drones or small robots, free energy and power. Don't help here and there. It is your own people that you are making to suffer and are making excuses and hypocrites of Jesus? Finally, really help yourself and, above all, yourself and the systems and keep your eyes open - all the technology you need is there and it's not expensive anymore. The excess production destroys the market but creates these unlimited possibilities to help poor people in systems. I think Canadian People are fantastic but I have objection on the Governance of Canada. Canada has every quality to became No. 1 country in the whole world but its Government include central and provincial are not working to make Canada No. 1 in the world. Truly say, when I listen the statements of Trudeau it seems to me like he has born to suck the dick of US Presidents.

I think racism is on the rise in Canada, because communites are seeing masses of Indians overtaking their community and erasing canadian culture and replacing it with their own. India is a third world country, I don't think nice canadian communities are receptive to tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of Indians then coming into that community and speaking their own language, playing their own music, following their own relegion, celebrating their own holidays, dressing like they do back home, playing cricket and soccer etc... and that becoming common place rather than tradidional canadian culture. They want canada to stay Canadian and I'm all for that. Not to mention the housing crisis.

As somebody that grew up in this country and always saw Canada as the top country on the world's stage. In the past 7 years, or so, it astonishes me why anybody would move here because of our high cost of living. \nBecause of your not ultra wealthy or didn't buy a home 10 years ago, I don't know you can afford it here.

Let me make a very serious distinction . Canada is not a monolithic country . The people on the West Coast - British Columbia are culturally very similar to those living in Washington State and Oregon - total left wing granola - flakes and nuts. The Canadians on the East Coast are culturally similar to the US East Coasters- Joe Biden's people . \nThe people on Canada's Prairies - Alberta, Saskatchewan and the west side of Manitoba are similar to the US Midwest all the way down to Texas. Calgary, Alberta where I hail from has the largest annual outdoor rodeo in the world - the Calgary Stampede !. \nWe don't identify with the issues of the rest of Canada - we're Albertan's first and foremost !

This is the worst time and place to be in Canada. Very challenging job market, housing unaffordability, health care crisis, day care crisis. Basically, you wait three or four months to see a specialist doctor. You wait three or four months to get an ultrasound examination. It is worse than third-world countries. We all wish the truth before coming. Canada is a failing ship ?.

Hey Im alone here in Edmonton... i pay mortgage,,, i pay bills,,, i pay debts,,, i support my family back home,,,, i buy whatever i want and most of all,,, i only have one job... and look!!! Im surving for 14 years now alone... I came to Canada with the hope of a better life and it was a better life for a while until I had to deal with work politics and quit my job. And the so called healthcare system? I gave birth to a girl here who devloped cancer (never have we had that in any branch of our families) then died here from errors that could have been avoided. The taxes? High to support services that dont really benefit. The culture? Outwardly welcoming but inwardly judgemental. The weather? Has nothing on anywhere else in the world. So is Canada really worth it? Make the dollars and buy land in your country's home town. Visit Canada for a seasonal summer job then live at home peacefully among those of your culture and grow your own land.
