According to Canadian census those countries people are less here in Canada bring more students then less students from more people on the there hand bring more students from rich country then south Asian country.

My question is: why is it that 98.5% of international students come from one country? I remember when I was in high school working at McDonald’s etc now Walmart, Petro Canada, Tim Horton’s, McDonald’s are only hiring international students and only from one country too ?

Fedex, Adobe, Micron, Microsoft, Google, Western Union CEOs are all foreigners in USA. You cannot find a foreign CEO in Canada. Canada is a country where your life is wasted as immigrant. Canada sucks. I came here as a doctor only to find endless blocks and hoops and loops. Before settling here I was told ENDLESSLY about the paradise I was about to move to (Canadians love to present their country as such), and how a job as a doctor would be there for me since I meet the qualifications. You come here and reality hits, this is a bureaucratic nightmare of a country! The lack of Canadian experience is also an excuse for discrimination. I speak four languages, worked in different countries including Colombia, USA, France. Somebody please explain to me what is so extraordinary about Canadian experience that one cannot learn elsewhere? BTW Canadian medicine is TERRIBLE, BAD! I am leaving in June, got a pretty good job lined up back home in Colombia!

Listened to your vlog and I want to suggest few things as an immigrant myself... I am not sure of your detials but seems like your husband came back after 2 months leaving you there with family.. I have rarely seen any family settling abroad unless they have seriously burnt all there bridges back home.. if you start with a mindset that let's go and see and if doesn't work out we will come back 90% odds are you will go back.. firstly come with absolutely clear mind that no matter what happens you are not going back.. and you will make it here no matter what. The journey will become much easier and one directional.. Secondly you do not have to rely on any family abroad to move.. this is an other mistake people make.. they think they will have support but this support is actually a limiting option ... it doesn't let you get on feet quicker. Nobody can support you for long abroad and sooner than later you have to get on your feet. once you over stay your welcome you can start getting some unwelcoming vibes and then you get depressed thinking there is no one genuinely yours in this country.. you waste your initial time relying on your family.. better start without them in the first place and get going from day one.. and lastly 2 3 months is nothing to settle any where let alone in Canada.. you have to be patient, persistent and focused and after 2 years and after seeing all the calendar and religious seasons twice, you finally start to think of new place as your home.. its hard but in the end it's truly worth it and then you can never go back to India or Pakistan

I came to Canada 35yrs ago from Singapore. The myth of coming to Canada to be rich is broken. People are living better lives in Singapore or Thaiand. I went to Conestoga college, and I wish your mon read my words. Canadians, should consider that international students are paying around 20k yearly to Canada Colleges institutions that are not offering better education than the one provided in their own countries for way less than 30k. Other developed countries, like Germany or Belgium offer the same programs to international students for around 8k yearly, but, the international students rather come to Canada which also offer an easier path to become PR. But then, they crash with the reality and they realize that even many Indians can't speak proper English to be competitive in a Canadian College or in a Canadian company. Unfortunately, Canadians educational institutions know that the English spoken by international students is not enough but, they send them an acceptance letter from the institution so they can come and study in Canada. So, the real problem are the Canadian public colleges and Universities accepting people with a poor English level from overseas. Canada is a great place to be but, this kind of actions make their productivity poor which is in reality the problem behind the bad economy development when compare with similar developed countries. So, your mon should first blame its own country policies and educational institutions rather than international students for that kind of behaviors when they are students. Also, you should put your self in their shoes, learn German and go to Germany and see how easy is to manage to get a waitress job only in German in a city like Cologne. And then remember that this international students are bringing 20k from their countries economy to Canada each one yearly. Know, think how many Canadians bring 20k yearly to India or Nepal... What is the point of not setting a cap based on nationality? Let s be honest. 90% of international students are from India. If they do not come, others will come. Money is money. 99.9% of Indians come to Canada on study permit not to study but to work full time harming other international students from other countries. They come to class for the first few weeks and once they get team mates for team work assignments, they suddenly banish and never show up again. IT IS RUDE. They never speak English. Their stardards are far below CANADIAN STANDARDS. Why keep getting them in? Again. Money is money. Just limit based on nationality on study permit and later pr as well.

As an American I have constantly heard how much better Canada is than the US. But I noticed a lot of things going on in Canada that made me question that narrative. It seems that people overestimated the benefits of Canada and down played the pluses of living in America. They did that in my opinion for ideological reasons because Canada has government healthcare. While healthcare is an important issue it is only one of many people should consider and they should consider them without bias when weighing the pros and cons of a country.

I'm Canadian who took the same decision a few years ago, I've wasted 13 years of my life in Canada, I lost my money, skills, motivations that I brought with me. I left my grown up children there because I can't sell my values to get some Canadian dollars. We went to Canada to help and to have freedom, not to be discriminated and get hired in low-level jobs. I'm happy that I left and I enjoy the sunny weather most of the year in my home country even if I have little money. It was a wrong decision to be in Canada especially after I've seen high-school graduates got hired in positions that I've Bachelor's degree can't get it. I've been graduated from a Canadian college but still can't get those jobs. It's not acceptable to be a second-degree citizen just to get a blue passport.

That's definitely a responsibility of Canada's government and public schools themselves. You should never consider getting more and more students to this country if you don't have a clue how to manage this educational business properly. Moreover, the federal government should consider making better use of the existing budget to leverage AI models to do this job if nobody can tell how many students those public schools are able to accommodate for the next academic year. Today's AI can perform better than people think they do in such a matter of computing. Let the professional do their job. You just input all your available resources as a number of parameters into the AI models, and in just a few seconds, they can tell you how many international students one province should accept.

I have immigrated to Canada 38 years ago from Poland. Quality of life is horrible- work - home - watching Netflix unless you go out to eat mediocre food and be forced to pay minimum 15 % tip on already high bill. People in home country can afford to buy apartments, enjoy quality of life. Regret coming to this country.

12 yrs in Canada and I felt my body aged so much... went to Mexico for vacation and I feel healthy eating good food and not frozen. I'm thinking of going back to my home country Philippines. The food, weather and lifestyle in Canada is making me sick. Not forget the crime rate too... :(

Its not only CANADA which has high cost of living, here in NZ too..,housing cost is high , health care is stillcoping up, but long wait also in the hospital is the same as u r complaining in Canada, but during winter,it is not that bad because we dont have snow here, only in some part of the country.. immigration increases due to need of people coming to finance the needs of the country which Is global, i think....

What's wrong with United Arab Emirates. I heard they have a good economy. The only drawbacks: I think you need to have a fair amount of capital before they will accept you. And the cost of living is rather high. If I could speak Arabic that country along with Saudi Arabia and Kuwait would be one of my possible choices. The problem with Canada today is that the leaders are all completely inept, incompetent, and corrupt. I guess they think that Socialism is the way to go.

My parents immigrated from Britain in the 1959s after WWII and built a comfortable life! At 72 I live a relatively comfortable life although I have spent all my savings and I currently rent! I lived in Spain with my much younger Colombian wife who passed away in 2019. My pension income is sufficient for me to live since I returned to Canada and I have better than adequate healthcare and dental care! The short story is \nTurd and the Turdettes were elected because Harpoons and his band of buttkissing bootlickers were self-serving incompetents. Now Turd, who has never been competent to be PM, which his long list of scandals should easily prove, is going to compel the election of another incompetent self-serving politician. Canadians never learn, switching from one idiot to another as the country spirals into the sewer. The proposed level of immigration and climate change options will turn Canada into a third world country? Maybe we can call it Turdland and then we will all be Turds!

I don't know u guys and I'm not even Canadian, but I am absolutely convinced that once you have left Canada for that Muslim country, there will be a time (sooner than later) that you guys will return in repentance. Then I would like to see how you're going to explain that to your audience.

Fabulous video! US viewer here. But we often vacationed in Quebec’s Laurentians and our daughter went to Ontario’s University of Toronto for her undergraduate degree about 15 years ago. UofT was rigorous, to say the least, but she did it in 4 years, unlike some of her peers. She LOVED it, and made many friends, including internationals. They’ve stayed close on FB, and even get together (some flying in from other countries, including the Middle East and Asia) every 2 years or so back in Toronto. We’ve found the easiest way to make friends is by going to university or college together and living in residence, rather than once we’ve enter the workforce.\n\nThat said, and as unpolite as it may be, the root of Canada’s problems are exactly its politics. IMO Canada’s misguided liberal policies are to blame for its stratospheric taxes, cost of housing, increasing crime, tolerant drug culture, and deteriorating health care system. That Canada now encourages voluntary euthanasia to reduce health care costs should say it all. Margaret Sanger would be proud. Canada is a country that is built on middle class where a large part of the population are within the same earning range. There are positives to this, less crime, there is not a huge disparity between rich and poor which makes for a more sane environment don’t get me wrong, we still have our crime rate. Now you can see that the professional programs are limited compared to other countries in the universities and highly competitive so that you don’t have so many professionals with high earning power thereby creating a huge disparity. On the other hand, these high earners don’t get a tax return, get any govt cheque, their kids don’t get huge amounts for OSAP instead, they get billed to pay back the govt and that’s how those of you complaining now where able to get govt cheques when you just relocated, support low income homes and newly landed immigrants. There’s free health, good Ammenities, snow is cleared, the roads are salted and de iced, free Education, govt loans and school loans that’s where your tax money goes to. Everyone has an accent that’s your identity why will you feel somehow or intimidated when you are told you have an accent that’s being timid say yes I have an accent it’s African or Caribbean etc. About racism it’s rare never experienced it that’s not saying it doesn’t happen but am gonna call you out if it’s obvious I have been profiled. Yes the weather is harsh did you not look at your map before relocating ?? In all most of these complaints are individual experiences so I won’t invalidate it but don’t trash what you gained from. Retraining and certification is a must especially when you are coming from a certain country and it’s not a bad idea. Am in healthcare and retraining is a must if you didn’t school here cos it’s entirely different talk about work ethics, equipments, software, differentiation in policies, health laws and malpractice laws.\nLook at the brighter side of life and stop complaining migration has its pros and cons position yourself in a place to have a good life, go back to school, get certified, keep retraining and adding value to your certificate.

I visited Toronto in 1986 and I've had friends from that city. The whole world is changing and facing the issues you mentioned in your video. I had lived in Seattle before its decline. I'm in Pittsburgh temporarily and I had lived recently in Erie, PA. They all seem to be facing the same situation--housing crisis, homelessness, and crime. And in Pittsburgh, limited social services.\n\nHowever, I'm sad to see a socialist country such as Canada suffer with these ills. If a socialist country can't take care of its people, there's little home for a capitalist country like the US.

I suggest you consider a Muslim South-East Asian country such as Malaysia, Indonesia, or Brunei. You wouldn't have to deal with winter. The cost of living is much cheaper than Canada. You would be surrounded by fellow Muslims in a nation that respects and promotes Islam.

Truth. Our once great country is a wreck. Our prime minister with the good hair is an idiot who has ruined Canada. I don't even recognize my home country anymore. Immigrants have been given everything that our Canadian forefathers worked so hard to give their families. It's beyond tragic. It's criminal. Housing and health care are in crisis to the point where anybody can become homeless or die waiting for hours in an ER for treatment. I respect your decision to leave based on misalignment of values and other factors you cited. I wish newcomers would be aware of these things before they moved to Canada. Anytime Canada takes in a flood of immigrants and refugees whose value systems don't align it creates longer term issues for society and the country. Biden is doing the same thing by allowing a flood of refugees, little does he realize what the long term impacts will be.

Born and raised in Canada for 25 almost 26 years and I leave for Macedonia in May. Even countries in much different and not as good situations show better potential than this country.
